Continental Congress 2009

On October 10, elections will be held to select three delegates from each state to attend Continental Congress 2009 which convenes November 9-24, 2009. This is NOT a Constitutional Convention, but a Continental Congress that will be held in the spirit of the original Continental Congress of 1774. The purpose is to explore the peaceful and legal means by which to return our government to its servant status and require government to operate within Constitutional restraints. The Constitution was drafted and adopted to restrict government and free the people, and the people just exercise their responsibility to keep the government in check.

I will make every effort to attend. The deciding factor will be the location of the Continental Congress.

I'd like to go, but will have to measure everything involved. I'd need to know the location as well before I can even begin measuring everything involved.

I'm honored that you asked me...It depends on where it will be held and my health at the time...I'm 77 yrs old and under close supervision at the Veterans Hospital...

I will be happy to make a committment to go when I know where and when. If it is the right day, when I have access to a car, than I will go. My fiance and I share a car, so before I can commit, I need to know, where, when and what time. I would like to go if it lines up with what I am able to do. I wait to hear.

I would like very much to attend, dont know if I could stay for the entire event or not, but finances willing and location being reasonable, I would like to be there.
