Event Description
The David Horowitz Freedom Center will be holding its Restoration Weekend November 19 - 22, 2009 at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. Prominent authorities and political figures will enlighten audiences at this important annual event.
The Center will be celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of this event. Its theme will be "Defending Our Country and Our Culture." The Weekend activities begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday the 19th and conclude at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday the 22nd.
We are excited to announce that among the confirmed speakers are:
Newt Gingrich, Ann Coulter, Fred Thompson, Geert Wilders, Phyllis Schlafly, Andrew Klavan, George Gilder, Jonah Goldberg, Robert Spencer, Frank Gaffney, Steve Moore, Andrew McCarthy, Bruce Bawer, Congressmen Ed Royce and Thaddeus McCotter, and General Paul Vallely.
We will also be hosting the Citizens United Productions Film Festival on Friday and Saturday afternoons.

Hundreds of Afghan Interpreters to Settle in Britain
Hundreds of Afghan interpreters who served on the frontline with British forces in Afghanistan will be offered the chance of a new life in Britain after a government U-turn, it was revealed on Wednesday.
Prime Minister David Cameron had initially discouraged the interpreters from settling in Britain, saying “talented Afghans” should stay and rebuild their country.

Report: Iran is Expanding its Nuclear Activities
Iran is making significant progress in expanding its nuclear program, including in opening up a potential second route to developing the bomb, a new U.N. atomic agency report showed Wednesday.
The International Atomic Energy Agency’s latest quarterly update said Tehran had accelerated the installation of advanced uranium enrichment equipment at its central Natanz plant.

First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
