Should people be outside their State Houses protesting the Marxist attack on the 2nd Amendment with bumper sticker slogan signs and listening to folks speaking to the choir?
Should they be inside the State House talking with their State Reps, Senators and Governor?
Please stay on topic of question asked.
Reminder.......I delete off topic comments and have already done so here.
Then we need to find someone just like him (man or woman) for each and every state. Sure finding 49 more of them won't be easy, but this should be done right.
Definitly BOTH. A public protest with signs and slogans MAY get a little local press. But just MAYBE, it just according to how liberal the press is at the protest. If you can get your representative's( Federal or State) ear in his office you may be able to better make your point. Emails, faxes and phone calls to your reps. help as it will alert the reps. staff to constituent discontent and concern. If you are good at speaking/ writing a letter to the editor of the local paper can be effective.
what would happen if we take a stand and refuse to pay taxes if they don't remove the fraud? that is a peaceful process? will they put 400 million of us in fema camps there is no other way but to hit them in the pocket they steal!!
Excellent idea except how do you not pay taxes?
I think it should be both. Look at what people are doing http://gunappreciationday.com/articles/broad-coalition-of-gun-right...
People are out here fighting with all they have.:)
If in NYS forget the state legislature. We have too many enemies in the senate/assembly/governor.

************************************************************** We don’t know what is in the final bill, but these were the proposals:
Stronger Gun Laws: A Plan to Protect New Yorkers Require Universal Background Checks on the Sale of all Guns
Require all gun sales, including sales between individuals, to go through a licensed fire arms dealer where a background check can be performed and proper records kept.
Require criminal background checks on all gun dealer employees handling guns. Strengthen Assault Weapons Ban
Broaden the definition of assault weapon to ban any weapon that has one prohibited characteristic rather than two as specified in current law. Include a provision for the Superintendent of State Police to review new assault weapons and add them to a list of banned weapons if they meet statutory criteria. Currently New York City has such a ban.
Ban possession and sale – no grandfathering. Strengthen High Capacity Ammunition Magazine Ban
Ban possession and sale of all high capacity ammunition magazines over 10 bullets. Micro stamping Legislation to Help Law Enforcement Solve Gun Crimes
Require all semi-automatic handguns
sold or delivered in New York to be equipped with anew technology that imprints a unique code onto the shell casings every time a gun is fired,so that guns can be traced from shell casings found at crime scenes.
Require Gun Licenses to be Renewed Every 5 Years
Require 5-year renewable licenses for all those owning handguns. Currently licenses are only required to be renewed in New York City, on Long Island and in Westchester. Improve Gun Dealer Regulations
Require gun dealers to have stringent recordkeeping, submit inventory to law enforcement, store firearms safely, and report lost or stolen firearms. Regulate Ammunition Sales
Require background checks or showing of a permit on all ammunition sales. Look into types of ammunition sold if one does not have a handgun permit. One Gun a Month
Limit people to the purchase of no more than one handgun a month.
I would NOT license any guns, Time to get an injunction started on this absurd law.
You folks in the People's Republic of New York need to start voting with your feet. They need to experience some negative population growth which has a direct correlation to revenue. Let the liberals cook in their own stew. You don't have to be a mega bucks person like Limbaugh to show them your backside.
Rally this Saturday, 1/19/13, NOON, State Capitol
National Gun Appreciation Day
This problem is not of government issue or resolve! It should follow under what each state should be doing.
DO NOT allow the Feds to put MORE regulation than what we already have, 20,000 gun laws now that they don't enforce!
It seems that the states GIVE UP more rights to let the Feds CONTROL!
Mail you reps in Washington that it a state problem and that WE can handle it. Mail your state and FORCE them to make rules that will cope with where THIS problme lies; mentally ill, their meds, doctors getting them listed, and a placement physically . You would not believe just how many calls a police departmant handles on assistance calls of mentially person at home being disorderly!
I say both
