Lynn, I have a quote from Emergency Essentials (beprepared.com) which will sell us MREs at $2.975 each if we buy in a large quantity.  I had the sales manager price one meal a day for four weeks for 1000 people.  That's a total of 14,000 meals.  Originally, the thinking (Chris Blystone and myself) was to have two meals per day but then we re-thought and decided one a day and snacks (fruit, nuts, whatever) would be enough for most people, especially when most would be just standing around not doing anything which would need more energy.

I am hoping to share this information tonight on the conference call and if it were possible to send this information out to State Leaders, that would be great!
