I've come across this quite a few times now. I've not read this, but I am giving you all the link so you can vet it. Not just read it and soak it in but to truly vet the information it contains to know if it's factual and referenced or not factual. Let me know what you find out through your vetting of this please. This is an excellent book.  My copy is several years old and dog eared with lots of notes in the margins and place stickers.  A must read.

That is a lot of book to download.  932 pages.  You might think about looking in used book stores or Amazon.  It is really a good book to be able to peruse through often.
