AG Eric Holder warns of "Constitutional Crisis"

Well we predicted the Obama administration would try to claim some kind of "Constitutional Crisis" so that they could then declair a state of emergency before next Novembers elections. It looks as though Eric Holder may be flexing his finger muscle in preperations for pushing that button.

Under threat of a House contempt citation over the botched Fast and Furious gun-walking operation, Attorney General Eric Holder spoke in a conciliatory tone Tuesday about his willingness for “compromises” to avoid what he called “an impending constitutional crisis” over the withholding of documents in response to a congressional subpoena.

“We are prepared to make – I am prepared to make - compromises with regard to the documents that can be made available,” said Holder in a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Isn't amazing how far we have fallen?  We survived the death of a sitting president during a major war.  We survived a president who was forced to resign rather than face criminal charges and impeachment.  We survived a sitting president who did lord only knows what with an intern.  Now we have a constitutional crisis because Congress is on the verge of citing the attorney general of the United States for contempt of Congress.  Are there no adults remaining in the federal government?  Right or wrong, when Joe McCarthy was trying to get his hands on the State Department personnel records Truman had them brought to the White House, locked up and said no based on executive privilege.  That did not precipitate a constitutional crisis.  How is it that out of a nation of 300 million we allow ourselves to be governed by 535 persons who are for the most part nothing but incompetent miscreants?  Taking a serious look at all three branches of government (executive, legislative, judicial) it is a sad commentary on the state of our nation that these 535 troglodytes should be telling the rest of us how we should live and present themselves to be better than the rest of us.  Now before anyone comes looking for my scalp I will say that there are a few, very few, exceptions.  Allen West is one who immediately comes to mind.  Imagine if this current crop of incompetent criminals had been the founding fathers.  Were it not so sad a situation the thought of Joe Biden attempting to have an intelligent conversation with George Washington would make for some first class comedy and would have people rolling in the aisles.

It saddens me and angers me greatly knowing that Holder goes back to his office after every show in front of the cameras at Issa's hearings, knocks back a Bourbon and laughs at how good he was at NOT answering Issa's questions. All the while knowing damn well that he has blood and the murder of a US Government Enforcement Agent, on his hands. And he get's to play footsie with his accusers like this is some sort of game.

I want two things before I die, and I shall pray for both every night until my time comes.

1.  That Obama loses in a landslide in November.

2.  Eric Holder in Prison. (a real Prison, not a country club minimum security lap dancers on Sundays sort of prison)

As a former CI agent with a bit of experience in this sort of thing I cannot for the life of me imagine what Fast and Furious was to accomplish.  It does not take a mental giant to understand that unless it is equipped with a tracking device, as soon as that weapon crosses the border you have lost control of it.  Compounding the entire thing is the fact that it wasn't a few firearms which were allowed to "walk" but thousands.  However, we should not be surprised.  Remember it is ATF which brought us Ruby Ridge and Waco.  Perhaps a bit off subject but never the less regarding Holder, the DOJ has threatened to take Florida to court for purging their voter rolls of illegal aliens and deceased persons.  The arrogance or stupidity of these thugs is simply unbelievable.  Their actions and reasoning defy all logic.  How can removing ineligible voters from the rolls be construed to be discriminating against certain classes of citizens.  What civic minded upstanding citizen would not want ineligible voters prevented from voting.  This is all simply more class warfare.

Frankly, lets round them all up and send them to Leavenworth, Kansas.
