As the Department of Homeland Security and local law enforcement fuse into a single militarized policing apparatus for the whole of America through the use of massive surveillance warehouses, eye-in-the-sky drones and hybrid task forces, the U.S. military will continue to expand it’s role in domestic affairs, including in the event of natural disasters and terror related crises. So says Army Chief of Staff Raymond Odierno, who recently penned an article in Foreign Affairs, a propaganda mouthpiece published by the Council of Foreign Relations, an organization well known for having its hand in the economic, financial, social, military and political policies of every developed nation on Earth.
The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) proposes that the U.S. Army be used to plan, command, and carry out (with the help of civilian law enforcement) domestic police missions…
…the CFR would see the Army used to address “challenges in the United States itself” in order to keep the homeland safe from domestic disasters, including terrorist attacks.
Odierno writes:
Where appropriate we will also dedicate active-duty forces, especially those with niche skills and equipment, to provide civilian officials with a robust set of reliable and rapid response options.
That’s right. Should the sheriff suspect that a particular citizen in his county poses a threat to security and feels he doesn’t have the proper “skills and equipment” to deal with the situation, he can just call out the U.S. Army and bring a “rapid response” force that is robust enough to eliminate the problem.
These are not the musings of an unknown academic written in an obscure journal of little importance. These are the black-and-white plans for “building a flexible force” as laid out by the man in charge and published for all the world to read by the people who may have put him there.
In order to justify this new (and illegal) mission for the Army, General Odierno points to three “major changes” that have precipitated the re-tasking of the troops: First, “declining budgets due to the country’s worsened fiscal situation; second, “a shift in emphasis to the Asia-Pacific region; and third, a “broadening of focus from counterinsurgency, counter-terrorism, and training of partners to shaping the strategic environment, preventing the outbreak of dangerous regional conflicts, and improving the army’s readiness to respond in force to a range of complex contingencies worldwide.”

The head of the U.S. military, in a publication for an organization that is hell bent on centralizing the activities of sovereign nations into a single global entity, has outlined the intentions of our government, military, and international community for future deployment in what’s shaping up to be America’s next theater of operations – the domestic front.
With the passage of recent legislation that allows for the detention of American citizens without charge or trial, a stifling of freedom to protest at events of “national significance”, the expansion of terror definitions, and a new executive order that authorizes martial law and military deployment at any time the President deems necessary, it should be obvious that it is only a matter of time before tanks and soldiers are deployed on the streets of America.

Permalink Reply by Marvin Green on June 17, 2012 at 11:35pm Folks these bastards are getting ready to go to war with China. I just did a quick scan of the National Defense Resources Preparedness executive order. That's an executive order to take over everything in the time of a full scale war. Think about this. Panetta has already announced that we are moving 2/3 of our military strength to the Pacific. As I recall Hilary has been paying a lot of attention to India lately. If my memory serves me correctly there is a lot of animosity between India and China who have a common border. Also, India has a population problem. What better way to reduce the population a bit than to send the young men off to war. That may sound rather callous but its been done before. With most US forces in the Pacific and India on our side the Chinese are faced with a two front war. This would also provide a convenient excuse for South Korea to move north. That means China is facing enemies on three fronts. Also, what happens to all the money we owe China? That debt certainly isn't going to get paid if we're at war with them. Something else, China is rapidly catching up to us in technology. The powers that be certainly don't want that to happen. This General Odiermo has said they are "broadening of focus from counterinsurgency, counter terrorism" that's military speak for training for conventional warfare. In this age of Islamic terrorism why would the Army all of a sudden be putting focus on conventional warfare? What they are doing is getting ready for war with China that they know the people will not support. Remember how they used the Army to round up citizens of Japanese and German descent during WWII? After 10 years of war in Afghanistan and Iraq the people certainly aren't going to be in any mood for a full scale war with China.
And they can simply do a Johnson type feed of troops to the front just like Viet Nam! And they've been trying from the end of it, to re-institute the draft because they know that causes the young to hate the military with a large segment of the population.

Permalink Reply by Marvin Green on June 18, 2012 at 11:50pm You are absolutely correct Richard. We should have used nothing but drone strikes against the Taliban and the training camps. The Brits tried for lord only knows how many years. The Russians got their head handed to them on a platter. Although a lot of the success against the Russians was the result of US aid to the freedom fighters and especially the Stinger missiles. And, then along come the arrogant American politicians who think they can succeed where so many others have failed. However, I would also add that if the politicians had stayed out of the way this thing would have been over a long time ago. Had the politicians stayed out of the way and let the military do their job without all their stupid rules of engagement the terrorists in Afghanistan would long be history. Just like Viet Nam the military wins and the politicians give it all away. I hope that kraut bastard Henry Kissinger rots in hell.

their "toys" to "FEMA Camps". Get your Guns and Ammo. End last month my house
was broken into, they took some Guns, had my best Elsewhere, trashed 1/2 the house,
left most of my WW2 guns, had a few bayonets, found in "trash can". That made me mad.
The Police, I asked if check for fingerprints: No. Not to run on, write down serial

Link up with them in National Emergency? Lambs to slaughter. At least we have

The question is: "Does the CFR run our country at this point or not?" Has anyone got the skinny on the answer?
It seems America and Egypt may have a whole lot more in Common this week than we knew. The question is will Our Military step in and dissolve the illegal government, or to aid the illegal government against it's citizens. God alone knows the answer to this one!
Patriots,
Read this book: "Trilaterals Over Washington" authored by Sutton and Wood.
This book is the Manifesto of the CFR and the Trilateral Commission. It will make the hair on your arms stand up straight and scare the HELL out of you! It is their blueprint, written in 1971-1972 and is written in a prospective and current standpoint. Reading it today, allows for the retrospective standpoint. This book is NON-fiction and factually based, well-referenced.
Remember, half the battle is knowing what's coming, then we can mount the proper Defense and Offense.
Either way, READ THIS BOOK ASAP!

The United States is not at war with Islam as some extremists claim to justify their violence against the West, President Barack Obama said.
Obama, speaking at the U.S. Defense Department’s National Defense University in Washington, referred to various terrorism threats and how some are fueled by extremists saying Islam is in conflict with the West.
“Most, though not all, of the terrorism we faced is fueled by a common ideology — a belief by some extremists that Islam is in conflict with the [...]
