This came from a very dear friend, so I know it's legit.......
Bought a little bit of ammo today (cash) from Dicks in Beaufort today. I've got one of the their reward cards but I never carry the damned thing. As usual, they asked if I had the card and I gave them my phone #. Then the guy asked me to spell my name and give me them my birth date. It was early and I was brain dead, so I answered and asked if the card was messed up. The clerk replied " No, you bought ammo."
I hunted up the mgr and told him that I wouldn't be buying from Dick's any more because of their ammo policy. You do what you want.

This is a really good example of where and when to use misinformation. Any time any cashier asks for so much as my zip code....I lie.
lol.. yes, indeed!
Cash only...no card, no phone number, no name....totally off grid. Only way to be truly safe.
