Col. Riley resigns from OAS

I got this email from the Col. a couple of hours ago, but see he hasn't posted it here, so I will.

Patriots,

Operation American Spring, the grass roots, God inspired movement toward “constitutional restoration” has made a difference.  God will determine how OAS has impacted our nation and what the future holds for America.

I now render my participation in any leadership role as complete.

My recommendation is that a leader emerge to continue the mission.  If that is not possible, then a new direction, with God’s help should be pursued.

I will continue to support Patriots for America site as a place for patriots, friends, Americans, to gather.

God bless everyone special that stood with the OAS mission, whether in D.C., at home, in prayer, media, in any way............

With great respect and humility,

Harry Riley, COL, USA, Ret

  • I thought I'd start a thread since it merits a discussion.  Is OAS over?  Will another person step forward to lead?

  • I feel that OAS is alive because we have all stepped up and cont it in different ways we must keep in touch

  •  COL. Riley,Thank you for standing for America, you are a brave and wonderful man in every way. You acted in a selfless way in an effort to save America for the future generations. I hope you have a wonderful life and rest assured that you and family will remain in our hearts and prayers.

    God bless,

    Miss Robbie Eagle

    • Amen to that.

  • Colonel, a great big thank you for your sacrifices & leadership with OAS. I will continue, as I have for years , to pray that God restores our nation. You will be missed.

    Regards & In Christ,

    Dennis

  • Got the same email.

I don't understand why the Colonel chose to resign?

  • I'm grateful as well, but I have no experience with a leader (military or civilian) leaving an ongoing operation in a vacuum.  There's usually some planning and a chain of succession, however interim it may be.

Who is left in the current OAS leadership?

  • God Bless you, Harry. I wished I could have been there, but if my situation had been different, I would have been on the firing line with you. That may happen anyway, the way things are going in this country now and it will only get worse now....

  •    Thank you Col. Riley for all you have done.

        God Bless you.
