What are your thoughts on US Military firing (lethal force) on it's own citizens in the event of Martial Law ?

 

What are your thoughts on a Gun confiscation if there was a UN Treaty regarding Gun ban in US if National Guard or Military were ordered to do so ?

Lance......are you interested in what you ask or are the answers for someone else.......??  The first question may get some difference of opinon.

The second, on this site we don't pay any attention to UN anything.......so the UN, nor anyone else is going to confiscate any weapons nor will anyone on this site agree to give up their weapons......

I know you have served, you're new to our site, but the focus of your question is suspicious??

I'm asking for my edification and trying to make sense of this mess.

Didn't have any idea regarding this site's opinions of UN. I'm informed and know the current admins' agenda. Like all here, I'm concerned & care very much for our country and our Constitution. Unfortunately not many people are very well informed where I live or know that much. I'm just trying to find out how other's feel. We are on same team. Thanks for your concern, I understand.

Since the un (no caps for no respect) question has already been addressed to my full liking, I'll speak about the 2nd. Our military take an oath to "uphold the Constitution" you'll find on another discussion a posting link to Patriots Union article which actually gives the oaths that our officer's take. (It's to the Constitution, not to the president, for officers), each officer is responsible to ensure that the orders he receives and passes on, do not violate that Constitution. Therefore, it's hopeful, that no matter what the potus says and does, our military will NEVER actually receive that order, regardless of what this illegal group may determine to do.
