DEMOCRATS SCRAMBLE TO SAVE #1 DONOR - THE TEACHERS
America’s BIGGEST political donor is not corporate America, bankers, Insurers or Wall Street. It is the National Education Association(1), which gave over $56 million(2) in campaign donations in the election cycle 2008 alone, and American Federation of Teachers(3), which gave over $12 million(4) in 2008. Combined, these two teachers unions gave over $68 million in 2008, ALL of it to Democrats.
Still trying to figure out why Democrats are desperate to save the public sector unions?
Democrats scramble to prop up public sector unions not on behalf of teachers or students, but rather on their own behalf, as the NEA is the single largest political donor in America today and they give almost 100% to DEMOCRATS! In short, without millions in campaign funding from the national teachers union, teachers would be better off, but Democrats would be in DEEP trouble!
Lately, there has been a lot of leftist press drivel about Republican supporters, the Koch brothers and Koch Industries, which has given some $11 million in campaign donations over the last ten years or so, 89% of it to Republicans. They aren’t even an ant in the sandbox of politics, compared to the NEA, which is more like the sand in the sandbox.
Koch Industries ranks #83 on the TOP 100 list of political donors. They are nothing compared to the NEA who gave more than $56 million in 2008 alone, essentially ALL of it to Democrats, and ranks #8 on the TOP 100 donor list.
Teachers working in the National Public Indoctrination System need a labor union for one reason only, to raise money from teachers to support the Democrat Party. Teachers, half of whom are fed up with federal indoctrination mandates, are NOT the winners in the current system. Leftist Democrats are, and their union thug buddies who advance their international socialist agenda via the Democrat Party, paid for largely by public school teachers.
I get why Democrats are scrambling to save the public sector unions, and even why other public sector employees need a union so that they can’t be fired for not doing their jobs.
But why are teachers supporting all of this anti-American indoctrination with their union dues and protest signs?
In the good old days, we were told to look for the union label and buy products made in America. After labor unions ran private sector manufacturing out of America, government jobs is pretty much the only place you can find the union label.
Beyond George Soros’ ActBlue Democrat juggernaut, it’s the teachers union, the American Fedn of State, County & Municipal Employees of public sector employees, the mass media union and scumbag lawyer union American Assn for Justice, that make today’s Democratic Socialist movement possible.
Without teachers, government employees and lawyers, there would be NO Democrat Party or democratic socialism in America today!
How dare those evil Republicans try to liberate American taxpayers from these cut throat leftist thugs. No wonder Democrats ran away to Chicago as Gov. Walker moved to liberate Wisconsin taxpayers.
$68 million in campaign money buys a lot of loyalty from leftist Democrats, huh? The teachers should be ashamed to protest. Shut up and return to the classroom before we hire your replacements. Fire your unions and keep the $68 million to feed your families next time!

CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS! When are we going to start calling them what they are BRIBES!
By whomever pays the corrupt government officials the most money; Let me see if I can word this so you understand, the senators and congressmen all get together and (first let me point out that there all slickster lawyers looking to bend you over, ie the tax payer_) and pass a bill into law that says it's all legal for them to except bribes and call them campaign contributions, and then there interest go the there boys that give them the bribes, oops I mean campaign contributions and do there bidding all the while ignoring the people there supposed to be severing and there you have it CORRUPT GOVERNMENT , that YOU PEOPLE put in to power and believe there lie and continue to support them.For example re electing the criminal liar harry reid.

This tantrum they are throwing and the death threats to the Republicans, shows how scared they are. Keep it up Wisconsin and other States joining in. We have them and can free our Country.
Most of all free our children and their future. The children are not the priority, we are being lied to. The kids get nothing.....Not even school supplies. Parents send those and snacks. Even Kleenex for their own kids. Next it will be toilet paper. Most of all they don't even get a proper education.
Our next plan should be to not send the children to school, boycott the Union's. They get no funds when kids are not in school. Churches, day cares, babysitters, friends and grandparents can all help the working Mom's.
The teachers, police and firefighters will be better off in the long run. The Union's spent their pensions already and don't want to get caught, so they blame everyone else. Same old game.
Just like the Government dipped into our promised S.S. and its gone. We are all in the same sinking boat and must rid the Corruption from the Union's and the Government.
Some pain now is better than the reality of nothing later, that's the reality.
The NEA send teacher's memo's to read the Obama associated, Radical Revolutionary, Saul Alinsky's, Rule's for Radicals. This is the education our children get. I want this type of teacher away from my children, PERIOD.
Promotion of Communism, Global World Government, Global warming lies, Green the Planet, etc... We want the 3 R's back and True History and economic taught to our children.
Bring this Great Country home to roost. We can do this, for our future generations.

Loved your comment. I graduated the same year in Texas and we were very similar to what you wrote. I recently did some testing in the local schools. The Special Ed , Educational Assistants, and Administration groups are almost as large as the teaching staff. One of the biggest problems we have here (NM) is so many schools are filled with limited English speakers and come from one parent families. Local gangs are the family structure. The schools are also spending federal money on fancy new equipment that doesn't help the learning but are shorting the classrooms on basic supplies that teachers try to make up out of their own salaries. They are trying to teach kids Algebra who still need to add on their fingers and can't multiply without a calculator; not to mention problems with putting together a paper using proper grammar and spelling.
