Colonel Harry Riley, U.S. Army (Ret.) served 34 years in the military before retiring in 1992.  His assignments include Executive Officer and Commander, Signals Research unit 2, Zweibruecken, Germany (1966-1968); II Corps Military Intelligence Detachment Advisor, and Combat Assistance team Commander supporting Army of Vietnam 1st Battalion, 47th Infantry Regiment Vietnam (1969-1970); Staff Officer and Commander, 2d Operations Battalion, U. S. Army Field station Augsburg, Germany (1976-1979); Staff Officer for the Assistant Chief of Staff Intelligence and Management Directorate, Office of the Chief of Staff Army, Pentagon (1979-1984); Division Chief, National Security Agency, Fort Meade Maryland (1984-1986); Commander, 712th Military Intelligence Battalion, Augsburg, Germany (1986-1988); Division Chief, National Security Agency, Fort Meade, Maryland (1988-1991); and Deputy Offlce Chief National Security Agency, Fort Meade 19Q1-1992). Colonel Riley also served additional tours ln Germany (1956-1959); Vietnam (1962); and Thailand (1962-1963) as an enlisted soldier.

He is the recipient of the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3 awards), Air Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal{ Meritorious unit Award, Air Force Outstanding unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal (2 Awards), National Defense Service Medal (2 awards), Vietnam Service Medal (5 Campaigns), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (5), the Army Staff Identification Badge, Parachute Badge, Combat Infantry Badge, and Republic of Vietnam awards to include the Cross or Gallantry with Silver Star.

He now runs the “Patriots for America’ website and is the leader of ‘Operation American Spring’, a constitutional effort to rally patriots around the country to Washington D.C. in a massive show of American people power to shut down the capital with civil disobedience.  Think Cairo 2011 or maybe even Kiev 2013.  They will go to the capital to stay until their demands are met…

Mort: How did you come up with this idea of an ‘Operation American Spring’?

Col. Riley: I, and believe “we the people” have been agonizing for more than five years, watching the deterioration of America at the hands of unscrupulous politicians, and seeking corrective action. With pen in hand, while writing down a rant, a portion of the many grievances against the leadership in America, my mind turned to our Founding Fathers and the Egyptian Spring…….

I realized we face much the same abuse that our Founding Fathers were experiencing. A Crown exerting a heel of pain on our early citizens, much like Barack Obama and other betrayers are imposing on America today. The list of grievances is long as it was in the 1700’s, but suffice to say, the current leadership in the United States Executive Branch, Congress and Courts have abandoned the US Constitution, disregard their oath, have taken on the reflection of dictator, tyrants, incompetents or all of these characteristics. They attempt to govern outside lawful means, picking and choosing which laws to obey and which to ignore, writing new laws and regulations at the Executive department whim with absolutely no oversight by Congress or the Courts…in short the United States is in a lawless, floundering, chaotic, condition. Who suffers the greatest? “We the people” just as our early citizens experienced.

For more than five years, “we the people” have been writing, calling, faxing Congress, the media, screaming in Town Halls,marching, rallying, demonstrating, petitioning, all to no avail. Every branch of government looks at “we the people” whom they have taken an oath to serve, as “pests”, interfering with their political agenda, cramping their self-serving, greedy agendas. We have no faith in the ballot box any longer, as many believe this sacred secret box has been compromised.

My thought, how in God’s name can we do something about this…..we’ve attempted nearly every avenue available in a peaceful fashion, without violence? None of us want violence, especially those of us that have been at battle from the fox-hole. The “principle” of the Egyptian Spring surfaced…people massing, gigantic magnitudes of “we the people”. It worked in Egypt by bringing down the government twice. Mass works in military operations, it can work in America. Thus the idea of a massive, gigantic swell of “we the people” in a non-violent, unarmed, peaceful descending on Washington, D.C. We’re modeling the principle of people massing, not modeling Egyptian government nor military. Not to bring down the government, our government structure works fine, it’s the criminal, betraying, deceiving occupants of federal government that must be removed to save our nation.

Mort: Your hoping 10 million people will show up for OAS, isn’t that kind of high?

Col. Riley: In less than 30 days of the call for the massive “movement to action” in Washington, D.C., nearly every State in America, every political persuasion, rich, poor, every color, all ages, men, women,  liberal, conservative, independent, unemployed, et al are now mobilizing to participate in this peaceful, non-violent, cause in the search for constitutional restoration for America. We have well over 1 million militia members mobilizing; bikers, truckers, hunters, Tea Party groups….citizens across America. No, I don’t think 10 million is high at all…the energy, determination, and willingness to have the “back” of the United States Constitution has finally resonated with the call, “enough is enough”…..we’ll have no more of it!

Mort: OAS will be using civil disobedience in the hopes of shutting down D.C., why hasn’t anyone else thought of this?

Col. Riley: There is a time for all things under heaven………God willing, now is the time for this massive, gigantic effort as a last stand before America moves into a more devastating condition. Americans are long suffering and patient, but God has made a way for freedom and liberty loving Americans to answer the call in defense of our nation.

Why it hasn’t happened before, may be that Americans of every persuasion have only now awakened to the very real threats to our freedom and liberty…  Barack Obama is a fraud. Never before have we faced any enemy that has  resembled a slow growing, but deadly cancer creeping throughout America represented by betrayers, deceivers, political operatives, that have no allegiance to the United States.

Mort: The ‘Truckers Ride for the Constitution’ was a total failure, what is different about Operation American Spring?

Col. Riley: We learn from every event……I don’t agree the the Truckers effort was a total failure. They have paved the way, we will expand on it…the difference is that Operation American Spring will not be just a ride through Washington, D.C., we will be there in massive numbers and intend to remain there until acceptable solutions are gained.

Mort: Let’s say OAS is successful in shutting down D.C., what happens then?

Col. Riley: A shut down will impact government, it will impact commerce, it will make people mad, some will welcome it, some won’t. Freedom isn’t free, it costs, a price that has been paid by millions of lives, body parts, blood, family destruction. This sacrifice demands that  leadership in government serve “we the people” not vice versa. It is unclear how this will all unravel but we are calling for the removal of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi, and Eric Holder as a start toward constitutional restoration. They have all abandoned the US Constitution, are unworthy to be retained in a position that calls for servant status…they have demonstrated lawlessness, utter disregard for “we the people” cowardice, and incompetence.

Post OAS info on Face Book, Twitter, join State Groups on our web sites, plan, organize, write newspapers, call to talk shows, post flyers, email friends, conduct rallies/demonstrations in local areas in the months leading up to May 16, 2014 when Operation American Spring begins. Massive numbers is the key……..anything short of a massive, gigantic response will give the destroyers of America a signal we have surrendered. Not me, not ever.

I sincerely salute Col. Riley for his self sacrifices  AGAIN  to so honorably serve his country.  His plan, his mission, and his conviction to achieve his goals have been clearly described.   There should be no doubt at all,   if you are a true blooded American,   why this urgent and most important action is needed now.  Makes no difference what your color, sex, religion, or political affiliation is,  are you an American, and are you willing to fight for your families freedom.  We have complained long enough to our elected officials about the illegal attacks  on and against our Constitution  with absolutely no resolutions.  In fact,  the key leaders in both houses and the President  are the principal problem because of their Socialistic and  Marxist  Agendas.  FACE  IT:  Our  U.S. Government has been infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood,   admitted Islamic Muslims  running our Government,  recruited by our elected Muslim President  who works for George Sores, not the people who elected him.    If we don't act promptly, it will be to late.   Our children and future generations will be asking, why didn't our parents stop complaining and do something.  Well, a few days ago, I joined Colonel  Riley's  PAITRIOTS  FOR  AMERICA,  OAS,  and we are going to do something about it.  In my opinion, this will become the first phase of An American Revolution.  It will not be free.  There will be sacrifices.   But, our children will be able to proudly say,  our mothers, fathers and grandparents  fought for our continued  Freedom.  I sincerely hope that people from all living generations across this Great Land will join us in accomplishing our mission.  Please  show your support and  sigh  up  on  Patriots for America.   Join us in Washington D. Regarding "Before it's News" interview,

Starting a timeline of "lawlessness" in the US approximately 5 years ago as OAS keeps doing  is so  passé and partisan and out of touch with youth. Come on Colonel! 

Stop undermining the true meaning of American Enlightenment. If you want to stop bickering, get off this patisan kick. OAS must grow bigger than both the Republican and Democratic Party pettiness. The great  lawlessness you cite permeates the White House, the Justice Department and both houses of Congress in the form of US corporatocracy running everything using the military as international thugs in service to the NWO.....all of which is surprisingly well documented in "War Is a Racket" by retired United States Marine Corps Major General and two time Medal of Honor recipient Smedley D. Butler. 

The whole of this darkness is run by a few in the shadows, against the interests of the people by billionaire bankers, the foreign owned private Federal Reserve and a web of interlocked Corporate Boards. 

Lawlessness didn't just start when the purity and unquestioned goodness and Godliness of the Republican Party lost the Presidency five years ago. There is barely a dime's worth of difference between our major parties in the depth of their corruption and our foreign policies. Replacing Democratic Party corruption with Republican Party corruption is passé. People want to address the bigger underlying truths. Tens of thousands are wising up to the abundance of forensic scientific evidence that even 9/11 was a false flag run by the shadow government powers that be, executed by Republican henchmen.  Get past partisan pettiness. Please drop the "5-year's" finger pointing references. On top of everything else let's build a legal frame work to legally remove office holders once the hoped-for masses show up. It hardly seems likely anyone will resign because traffic is tied up on the beltway. Your current plan plays right into the hands of the NSA Security State.

Colonel, The action is worthy and I will man my post. The single point spokesperson top-down perspective with no legal exit strategy is not. And if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen or let some more players in that will structure a sound legal defense for OAS.
