Ok to all of you who don't remember the ruckus(es) in DC with Code Pink....we were there in the trenches, so to speak, with these pieces of crap. In an anti-US parade camouflaged as an anti-war peace march, this guy traipsed down the street with a coffin, an upside down flag on it, and combat boots on top of the flag, with a Marine's photo hanging off the back. One of our guys ran up and snatched the Marines photo off the back so this fallen troop wouldn't have to have his face associated with such a disgraceful display. Turns out, the guy running that disgusting display was the Marine's psycho dad. He ran up and tackled our guy on the ground in front of me, biting him like a freaking animal, sending himself and our guy to the hospital, but not before making himself look like a moron.
I got dragged a few feet because I had literally thrown myself on the back of my friend Jake, who was recovering from having his arm blown off and getting his legs torn up by shrapnel. It was Jake's first experience with the disrespect and hatred of the Left and he didn't know how to handle it...but seeing one of our guys get tackled and bitten by some guy acting like a dog was too much. He was getting in that fight no matter what. While I'm totally down with a good fight (especially with people like that guy), jakes fragile medical state at that time wasn't conducive to swinging right hooks. But I digress.
And now this fallen Marine's dad turns up in boston as a hero? No, I'm not saying that's some conspiracy. I'm saying small freaking world. Psychos get around. Heh. Crazy.Kit Lange

Marathon Bombing ‘Hero’ Questioned By FBI, Police At Boston Home
BOSTON (CBS) – Nine years ago, Carlos Arredondo gained worldwide attention and sympathy, for being a grieving father who had a heartbreaking reaction to news that his son had been killed in the Iraq war.
Now he lives in Boston, and has found himself in the middle of the marathon bombing story. He is being both praised and questioned at the same time.
Arredondo running toward the blast and helping victims is one of the lasting images of the bombings.
“I had to to stop the bleeding, so I grabbed this sweater,” said Arredondo. “I ripped it apart and wrapped to stop the bleeding on his limbs.”

It was the reaction from the same man, who was once so broken by grief in 2004, that he set himself and a Marine Corps van on fire after hearing that his young son Alex had been killed in Iraq. Years later, his other son committed suicide. On Wednesday, two days after the marathon attack, his story took another twist.
He says Boston Police and the FBI came to his Roslindale home and questioned him about the bombing. When they left, they took some items.
“They took my clothes, my shoes my pants, my t-shirt, whatever they needed I provided to them,” Arredondo told WBZ-TV.
Arredondo says the agents were just doing their job. “I’m 100 percent supportive,” he says. “It’s very important to support the investigation.”
A neighbor also came by on Wednesday, to thank Arredondo for his actions to rescue victims.
Arredondo said he went to the marathon to cheer on athletes and National Guard troops who were running in memory of both of his sons. He also said authorities also took some photos that he had taken at the event, and that he was happy investigators appear to be closing in on a suspect.

I was also boots on the ground that day, and videoed most of the event. A FL boy freezing, but still able to function. I want to again thank those participants in our day of "breaking out." Why did I call it that? Easy, that is what we did. Most notable was the absence of Hanoi Jane and Cindy Sheehan, and since then they have been put down every time they tried to show their traitorous faces. The Code Pinks, Move on.org and other radical Leftist elements did not do very well when openly and challenged by many voices of determined patriots. Incidents such as Twana described did happen, but those were the open defiance to the pukes that showed no moral fiber what so ever, to include dragging our flag on the street; couple of NC Rolling Thunder guys by me dashed out past the police line, grabbed up the flag and returned to the curd with a challenge of, "come get it back!" Of course there were no takers to the offer. A friend of many years and I personally had the opportunity to harrass several of the pukes, not just at the mmarch, but on the subway back to their stops & parking lots, what a bunch worthless trash they were, young dudes being set upon by 65 year old beat up retirees. Stand up and be heard! Find your voices and do not be afraid to put them to full volume against the Leftist, Liberals and other anti-USA mouths spewing BS!
Yup, proud to say that my boots were on the ground there as well.....Don't mess with our "Wall".......Gathering of Eagles was a significant event that mobilized thousands of us in a short period of time.......So you see, It CAN be done!!
Carlos was the crazy man that attacked and bit another man??? WOW!!! One of two things to look at. 1 - After his grieving period, he got his mind straight! Or, 2 - He still has hate for America, but at least not enough now to let an American die after the explosion. The positive person that I try to be......would hope it is #1.
I remember that incident up in DC but I wasn't in that area...I was elsewhere but we did hear about it. THIS is THAT guy? Bizarro.
