When I was a firefighter I would run into a burning building, fully loaded with safety gear and equip. The entire time I was running into that fire and all during it my heart and soul was screaming ...." GOD!!! This dragon is bigger than me, I NEED YOU GOD ".
When all the report writing was done I'd go home; hug my kids tightly and praise GOD that I had survived, cry for any victims and then get ready for the next day.
That pretty much is still my attitutude today - especially now, facing the upcoming fight for America.

Amen Jim! You are right! It begins in us! I pray for God to use me, and he knows I am a willing vessel! God can change the hearts of men and kings! It will take his people, the church to usher in a great revival, and to cause men and women to become convicted of their sins, and to repent and TURN from their evil ways! OUR NATION IS/HAS BEEN ON THE SLIPPERY SLOPE TO HELL FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU LOOK AROUND YOU WILL FIND CORRUPTION, GREED, MORAL DECAY AND A STEADY MOVE AWAY FROM THE THINGS THAT MADE US GREAT. THE PRINCIPLES UPON WHICH THIS NATION WAS FOUNDED ARE NO LONGER OUR BACKBONE. HOWEVER, WE CAN REVERSE THIS TREND.

Thank you for this post. It is really good to know that there are others here who love the LORD and look to Him for our resources and help.What comfort and encouragement it is to know that ultimately every knee will bow and confess that Jesus (Yeshua) IS Messiah and Lord. Also, to know that His kingdom will eventually be established on earth, according to the scriptures, and will endure forever to the praise and glory of God the Father who is in Heaven!
I also have to remind myself that the Lord says for us to pray for our enemies - I find that very challenging to do often times, Sometimes I don't know how to pray other than entreating God to make their evil plans fail. I do pray that if possible their eyes will be opened and they will have a change of heart towards God and His way.
I do earnestly pray that myself nor any of God's people will be taken captive by unrighteous hate or brought down by discouragement and lack of faith but instead I pray that we will put on the full armor of God and stand strong and fast in the power of His might and remain a beacon of light in these dark days. A living sacrifice and remain faithful even to death if necessary. Fighting the good fight with you!
