commentE-mailPrintshareTexas AG threatens to sue feds over UN arms treatyBy Jonathan Easley - 09/26/13 10:48 AM ETTexas attorney general Greg Abbott (R) is threatening to sue the federal government after Secretary of State John Kerry signed the U.N. arms treaty this week.“Texas stands ready to lead the charge to have the treaty overturned in court,” Abbot said Wednesday, according to the Austin American Statesman.“By signing this treaty, the Obama administration has attempted to subject Americans’ right to bear arms to the oversight of the United Nations,” he continued. “The very reason we fought for independence was to free ourselves from the dictates of leaders in other lands.”Abbott plans to run governor in the Texas Republican primary next year.The National Rifle Association and many Republicans oppose the U.N. arms treaty because it covers small arms. Right Susan! Our Constitution says we have sovereignty! And congress can't ratify a treaty that goes against the Constitution (though a lot of people don't know that) The book "They Fired the First Shot" explains the language in the Constitution
Its not its real intent and they know it, dam. People, wake up and smell the coffee, drink it and then wake up to the reality of this evil treaty that this man-jack of a liar has signed in our name. To all vets who read this better stand and shout from the house tops the danger this presents for our future to defend our nation once again. The CAT is out of the bag, what are you afraid of? NOW is the time for US to come to the aid our our country or it will never come back from its death throws, amen. Fight for the rights WE enjoy and not give in to these misable bums that have taken control of out system of Governing -The US Constitutional Republic and for all it stands for!
