An SD reader has sent us his notification of cancellation of auto insurance from GEICO effective 1/22/13 due to the fact that ”the vehicle does not meet our underwriting guidelines because it is used in conjunction with a company that deals in the weapons industry”.

First Bank of America began confiscating the funds of firearms dealers, now GEICO believes it can cancel service for anyone working in the firearms industry. Who needs gun bans when the the banksters are more than willing to do the dirty work and pull strong armed corruption Chicago style stunts?

Submitted GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) notice of cancellation of insurance letter is below:

  • We don't need no stinkin GEICO.

    • Sorry Steven but I too contacted GEICO and they said this is not true!  So before everyone runs out and cancels their insurance,  stop and think for a minute.

      • It looks to me that someone with a beef with GEICO created that " document " with intent to hurt GEICO . You can do better with USAA but a bad rap is a bad rap and nobody deserves to be hurt by lies .

        • So you think Short Lane, LLC of Miles City, MT (http://www.gunadapters.com/ ) made this letter up? Why would Tommy Helms and John Roberts, members of this site, lie about talking with the head office of Geico where they admitted it was in fact a real letter that was misworded, and it was a misunderstanding??
I don 't think so. I think Geico is trying to Cover Their Azzes!

  • Let us the citizens start avoiding companies who do this. We can put them out of business. We will show them.

  • We'll be having no need of any Geico services.

Maybe the lizard should crawl back under his rock.

  • I just called the local Geico office and asked about this. 1/29/13 at 11:42 a.m.eastern time. The agent knew nothing about this being a standard geico policy. She too wanted to know so she called the corporate Geico office in Macon,Ga. and we had a 3 way conversation with that office. The corporate office said they were aware of this policy ( I gave them no info. I only read the paragraph that told why.) She told both the local agent and me that there was a misunderstanding on OUR(Geico) part and we are correcting this issue. I asked, " are you saying the paragraph was misworded and should have been written differently"? She said yes.

  • Oh I forgot to say, I'm not buying her excuse or Geico Insurance.

  • let everyone know! we had GEICO insurance for many years. thank God we don't have it any more.

who do they think they are? how many soldiers do they have as policy holders? let all your military family members and friends see this.

  • The banks are being pressured by the Obama administration to cut off dealings with any gun realated business, so Geico is just falling in line
