Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich intends to take a formal step toward entering the 2012 presidential race within the next two weeks, Republican officials said Sunday, after months spent traveling to important primary and caucus states.

Gingrich doesn't understand economics all that well. He is doing or considering running as a way to muddy the waters more and make it easier for the fraud in charge to get his second term!  We as a people do not need any one from the established oligarchy as a candidate. All of them smell of the same political corruption as the others, some to a lesser degree than others, still corruption is corruption.

We need people who will not "compromise" with evil for a lesser evil. Hell evil is evil and they need understand that! We must make it crystal clear to Newt that we will not waste our time and money backing some one who should be elsewhere and not back in the political arena. I for one will not vote for him, there are others for various reasons will not vote for him either.

Newt Gingrich is an intelligent soft spoken has been. I personally believe he is a RINO.I place him side by side with Senator McCain. We need a candidate who is knowledgeable, intelligent, Patriotic and loyal and full of fire.

Gag  He is worse than McCain.  If he persists on running - it will be because, to help the progressives out, this will divide the Republicans.  He knows he is not popular (at least he should know judging from comments made on different web sites, so the only reason he would run would be to divide.  Like McCain, it's to weaken the Republican Party.  I cannot believe the guy even thinks he has a chance.  Ego. Part of his following is because of Sean Hannity who just slobbers all over himself when the 'Speaker' is on and begs him to run.  When you look at Speakers, you get Newt, Nancy, and you have Tom Daschle and Harry as Senate leaders.  Not a good title in either case I would think.

NO Gingrich!   We need a candidate that can draw the independents, and disillusioned Dems, and none of those presented, with the POSSIBLE exception of Allan West has a PRAYER of doing that.  But the Repubs aren't presenting him; only business as usual sorts, and others who CANNOT draw that elusive group.  Neither do most of their offerings even come CLOSE To being Constitutionalists and true Conservatives; they're just politicians!
