Please note that this was sent to my Senators here in Georgia...while only one was mentioned in the headline, they are both linked at the hip, and it went where it should go. Also, if there is a need by any to use this as a template for their own, please feel free to do so. God Bless---and here is the diatribe:

I couldn't have worded it any better, let's see if this at least gets him motivated, doubtful though, and I definitely think when your guilty of a crime you should be charged, we would be!
UPDATE & ACTION ALERT:
After contacting my representatives office about supporting House Concurrent Resolution 107, I just got information from them that we actually now have House Concurrent Resolution 107, and a second piece of legislation pending in the form of an actual bill, H.R. 1609, The War Powers Reform Act of 2011 that are now BOTH in the Judicary Committee to be heard. HR 1609 was introduced by Representative Chris Gibson (N.Y.). It currently has 25 cosponsors, and it has been referred to the Rules Committee as well as the Judiciary Committee. The bill repeals a portion of the War Powers Resolution that requires the President to submit a report to Congress within 60 days of initiating military action. Instead, this bill prohibits funds from being used to support military action unless there is a declaration of war, a specific statutory authorization, or a national emergency caused by an attack or an imminent attack on the U.S.
H.Con.Res.107 – states “That it is the sense of Congress that, except in response to an actual or imminent attack against the territory of the United States, the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress violates Congress's exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution and therefore constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.”
To review these pieces of legislation and others I would encourage you to visit this website: http://thomas.loc.gov/home/thomas.php In the center column be sure to click the Bill Number Radio button and enter the Bill number (i.e. H.Con.Res. 107 or H.R. 1609).
In the United States Congress, a concurrent resolution is a resolution passed by both the House of Representatives and the Senate but is not presented to the President and does not have the force of law. In contrast, joint resolutions and bills are presented to the President and, once signed or approved over a veto, are enacted and have the force of law. Concurrent resolutions are generally used to address the sentiments of both chambers or deal with issues or matters affecting both houses...
It is also my understanding that my Congressman, The Honorable Rep. Jeff Miller (R) of the 1st Congressional District of Florida, from the panhandle area, is a co-sponsor of HR 1609.
Thank you & God Bless,

Striking a Deal over Syria at the G8 Summit:
World leaders were close to striking a deal on pushing for peace in Syria at the G8 summit on Tuesday amid conflicting reports that certain leaders clashed on a roadmap to resolve the conflict.
Sources at the Group of 8 conference told Reuters news agency that the leaders disagreed in talks about the nature of a transitional government for Syria.

The Destruction of the Syrian Air Force:
The Syrian Air Force has suffered major losses in the last year, as the aircraft and helicopters were unleashed on rebels (and civilian supporters) and took a beating. Of the 370 usable fixed wing war planes the Syrian Air Force had two years, about half are now out of action because of combat losses or wear and tear. Nearly two-thirds of the 360 helicopters are gone, for the same reasons.
Part of the problem was [...]
