IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW: GOOD NEWS ON UN ARMS TREATY
Inhofe Amendment to Stop US from Joining UN Arms Treaty Passes
DATE: March 23, 2013
TO: USF & NRA Members and Friends
FROM: Marion P. Hammer
USF Executive Director
NRA Past President
Today, Chris Cox, executive director of NRA's Institute for Legislation Action thanked US Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) for introducing an amendment, during the US Senate's Budget process, to prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
In the early hours this morning, the full Senate passed Inhofe’s amendment on a 53-46 vote. In a statement, Cox said the fight to oppose “any United Nations effort to undermine the constitutional rights of law-abiding American gun owners” has grown “more intense.”
“Thanks to the efforts of Senator Inhofe, we are one step closer to ensuring the UN will not trample on the freedoms our Founding Fathers guaranteed to us,” Cox said.

Roger that Chaplain! Those of us who served in times of war and took the oath will, under no circumstances, abandon our pledge to GOD and country. The veteran brothers in arms I know will not stand down nor will the great majority of active duty brothers. The UCMJ prohibits obeying any unlawful order and any action or order in defiance of the Constitution is in fact unlawful. The CNC has been actively supplying the enemies of America in the Middle East, aided and abetted by Hillary. Benghazi was clearly a blatant and deliberate act of treason. All survivors must be subpoenaed to testify before Congress. Americans have a right to know the truth!
i bet if you look, the 46 votes were the Democrats....but i could be wrong. i truely hope that they are wising up.
Still, I noted that Sen. Bill Nelson voted in favor of the treaty. This is one good reason why he should not be reelected. If your Senators voted for this treaty, you should send them their walking papers.
AT LAST GOOD NEWS ( I THINK THAT MAY HAVE BEEN THE LAST STRAW ) THANK YOU FOR THAT GOOOOOD NEWS .
Good news, indeed ! Viva, Senator Inhofe!!!
This vote should have been 100-0. What Senator who has agreed to "Protect and Defend the Constitution Against all enemies Foreign and Domestic......" Can vote in the Affirmative for this Abomination and still be considered a "Representative" of the People? A more accurate term for those Senators Voting For this Bill is TRAITOR and they should be prosecuted accordingly.
These So-Called SENATORS have been there FAR TOO LONG and we are long overdue for a TOTAL HOUSECLEANING..... While we still have a semblance of a country.
There was once a time when The TRAITORS found voting for this Bill Should Would be Tarred and Feathered before they were run out of town......
Before the 17th amendmentt every one of these characters would be required to justify their vote to Their State Legislature who had had appointed them. Today.... as we witness.... they simply laugh in our face and at the Rull of Law they have Sworn to Honor!
The time for action is rapidly approaching..... Prepare Now.... They Certainly Are....

Excellent news. Thanks, Twana.
Boy that is great...need to hear some good news don't we.....so much is not that it is super to know there are some yes's somewhere....to stop the UN is a very good thing!!!!
Very nice, indeed, but does it really matter, when Obama is ready with constabulary army and so much ammunitions? I do not think that any law would deter Obama in any way. I just wonder, when he is visiting so many places in different states, why there was not courage in any to make citizen arrest? I do not thing that he would have more body guards than welcoming party of "we the people".
Fantastic news!!! However the vote is far too close!!! The Senate vote should have been 95-5 against the UN treaty!!!!
