IS THE SYSTEM RIGGED.......YOU BETCHA..........By Pat Buchanan

Is the System Rigged? You Betcha.

A Commentary by Patrick J. Buchanan

"Remember, it's a rigged system. It's a rigged election," said Donald Trump in New Hampshire on Saturday.

The stunned recoil in this city suggests this bunker buster went right down the chimney. As the French put it, "Il n'y a que la verite qui blesse." It is only the truth that hurts.

In what sense is the system rigged?

Consider Big Media -- the elite columnists and commentators, the dominant national press, and the national and cable networks, save FOX. Not in this writer's lifetime has there been such blanket hatred and hostility of a presidential candidate of a major party.

"So what?" They reply. "We have a free press!"

But in this election, Big Media have burst out of the closet as an adjunct of the regime and the attack arm of the Clinton campaign, aiming to bring Trump down.

Half a century ago, Theodore White wrote of the power and bias of the "adversary press" that sought to bring down Richard Nixon.

"The power of the press in America," wrote Teddy, "is a primordial one. It sets the agenda of public discussion; and this sweeping power is unrestrained by any law. It determines what people will talk about and think about -- an authority that in other nations is reserved for tyrants, priests, parties and mandarins."

On ABC's "This Week," Newt Gingrich volunteered on Sunday that, "without the unending one-sided assault of the news media, Trump would be beating Hillary by 15 points."

On this one, Newt is right.

With all due respect, as adversaries, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are not terribly formidable. Big Media is the power that sustains the forces of globalism against those of Americanism.

Is the system rigged? Ask yourself.

For half a century, the U.S. Supreme Court has systematically de-Christianized and paganized American society and declared abortion and homosexual marriage constitutional rights.

Where did these unelected jurists get the right to impose their views and values upon us, and remake America in their own secularist image? Was that really the Court's role in the Constitution?

How did we wind up with an all-powerful judicial tyranny in a nation the Founding Fathers created as a democratic republic?

There are more than 11 million illegal immigrants here, with millions more coming. Yet the government consistently refuses to enforce the immigration laws of the United States.

Why should those Americans whose ancestors created, fought, bled and died to preserve America not believe they and their children are being dispossessed of a country that was their patrimony -- and without their consent?

When did the country vote to convert the America we grew up in into the Third World country our descendants will inherit in 2042?

In the Civil Rights Act of 1964, a Congressional majority voted to end discrimination against black folks.

When did we vote to institute pervasive discrimination against white folks, especially white males, with affirmative action, quotas and racial set-asides? Even in blue states like California, affirmative action is routinely rejected in statewide ballots.

Yet it remains regime policy, embedded in the bureaucracy.

In 2015, in the Democratic primaries, the big enthusiastic crowds were all for 75-year-old Socialist senator Bernie Sanders.

We now know, thanks to leaked emails, that not only the superdelegates and the Obama White House but a collaborationist press and the DNC were colluding to deny Sanders any chance at the nomination.

The fix was in. Ask Sanders if he thinks the system is rigged.

If there is an issue upon which Americans agree, it is that they want secure borders and an end to trade policies that have shipped abroad the jobs, and arrested the wages, of working Americans.

Yet in a private speech that netted her $225,000 from Brazilian bankers, Hillary Clinton confided that she dreams of a "common market, with open trade and open borders" from Nome, Alaska, to Patagonia.

That would mean the end of the USA as a unique, sovereign and independent nation. But the American press, whose survival depends upon the big ad dollars of transnational corporations, is more interested in old tapes of the Donald on The Howard Stern Show.

As present, it appears that in 2017, we may get a government headed by Hillary Clinton, and an opposition headed by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.

Is that what the people were hoping for, working for, voting for in the primaries of 2016? Or is this what they were voting against?

Big money and the media power of the establishment elites and the transnationals may well prevail.

And if they do, Middle America -- those who cling to their bibles, bigotries and guns in Barack Obama's depiction, those "deplorables" who are "racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic," who are "not America" and are "irredeemable" in Hillary Clinton's depiction -- will have to accept the new regime.

But that does not mean they must love it, like it or respect it.

Because, in the last analysis, yes, Virginia, the system is rigged.

There are quite a few Catholics who are very unhappy with this first Jesuit Pope, and believe that he may be the anti-Christ.

He is a Jesuit...need I say more..the Catholics are said to be the great whore in the Bible; others say it is We the People...either way....the great whore is here and has been for centuries.

I believe the US is "Mystery Babylon," which is why the US appears NOWHERE in the Bible.  Many, many other catastrophic occurrences were foretold in the Bible, including both world wars and 9/11 - nothing about US or America - Mystery Babylon will be destroyed when the "king from the north" and "king from the south" invade and destroy it.

I could not have said that better Brother Michael.   Absolutely and my mom's two neighbors are a good example of those who attend church, call themselves very Christian, but they do nothing and tell us that it is time for God to rapture us up.   I don't see how on earth people can even  think they are going to be Raptured up when they sit back and let evil take over....Something the elites have implanted into people's head so they will do nothing to fight the takeover of America.   Also if you mention to any of them that you need to prepare for hard times, they claim that they will not need storable food and water because when Armageddon comes they will be raptured up...and I tell them "who said anything about Armageddon, I was talking about hard times, no electric for months on months or some other disaster".

Patricia. I feel sorry for your neighbors. They are unfortunatly a perfect example of a lot of Christians who misinterpret the Bible. Ask them to go and try to sell their pretribulation Rapture therory to those Christians in other parts of the world who are being tortured and murdered for their faith right now, today and see what they have to say. Or maybe they feel as American Christians they are special in Gods eyes and they are going to be translated before the going gets tough! I have believed for sometime the most important Subject of Theology that the Church needs to teach and every Christian needs to know inside and out is the subject of Biblical Hermenutics. Everyone knows what the scriptures say. The problem lays in what did the writer mean by what he said. Because varying methods of interpretation exist, there are a variety of interpratations and only ONE can be correct. Studying this one subject alone would severly hinder Satan in getting uneducated believers and teachers from believing a lie. This is not the place to get into the subject but I would reccommend every Christian read and study "Protestant Biblical Interpretation" by Bernard Ramm.
I have come to see a number of errors within the Protestant Christian denomination, but this work isn't about their particular beliefs but about how to correctly interpret the scriptures, for example assertaining the style it was written in i.e. The Literal sense, the Aligorical sense, poetically, figuratively, etc. As well as interpreting the scripture "in context". These interpretation laws are as valid as the laws of mathamatics and are paramount in correctly interpreting Gods Word. If I could get anyone to pay attention to just one thing I have said here over the years it would be this one point. Satan is a master at misinterpreting the Scripture, unfortunatly so are alot of Teachers and Christians.

How about whether instead of weather; how about meant for ment?  Just had to tease you a little..you are right on..501c3 churches have ruined and replaced our Christ and interpret our Bible too much off key and the worst, perhaps is the violation of the Fourth Commandment where the Lord identifies himself..the only commandment you will read it..

ATTN PA Trump Supporters:  Volunteer to be a poll watcher!

"About three-fourths of the nation’s voters will be marking paper b...  most of which will be counted electronically by an optical scanner, said Pamela Smith, president of Verified Voting, a nonpartisan group that has advocated for paper ballots that can be counted electronically and recounted by hand as a way to assure trust in a close election.

California and most of the battleground states — Ohio, Florida, North Carolina and Virginia among them — have switched to voting systems with a paper trail.

By contrast, Delaware, Georgia, Louisiana, New Jersey and South Carolina entrust their votes entirely to electronic touch screens.

Pennsylvania is among those states that rely almost entirely on computerized voting, according to Verified Voting.

“Pennsylvania is using technology from the ’80s made by the companies that don’t exist anymore. In computer years, that’s a very long time ago,” Smith said.

Pennsylvania election officials say they are well aware of the challenges."

It's difficult to envision an example of the kind of fraud a poll watcher would be able to detect.  If someone has adopted another person's identity and has i.d. to support this new identity, how would you catch that?  If the machines register a different name than the voter checked, and the voter doesn't catch it, how would you know it?  Or if the voter does catch it, it's the poll staff's duty to rectify that issue.  Most of the fraud with paper ballots occurs during travel from the polls to the place where they are counted, or during the process of counting where numbers can easily be fudged, but I don't think outsiders are allowed there.  So what would a poll watcher be looking for?

This video from a 2012 poll watcher will explain a lot.  There are also videos on FB showing women in PA throwing away paper ballots (shredding them) and stuffing the ballot boxes with pre-prepared ballots.  These are things a poll watcher could catch.  Also, Trump has lined up dozens and dozens of watchers and attorneys who will be spread around the country, particularly in swing states, to watch for this and be ready to file challenges immediately.  Do some exit polling, keep track of it, then check to see if it matches up with the results.

Thank you for that explanation.  Obviously, I hadn't thought of all the possibilities that exist when people don't mind doing things like that right in your face.  It never ceases to amaze me that people will commit such outrageous acts - and then BRAG about it!  I'm still more worried about the voting machines being hacked, since at least two of the machine manufacturers are big Clinton donors.  I wonder if there has ever been a fair election in the U.S. in the past 100 years.  More and more, I feel like I'm living in a foreign country - like Iran...

Judith. The Johnson Amendment prohibits non profits from endorsing political parties or those running for office. There are those who feel the pulpit is no place to talk about politics as it is allowing Ceaser into the Church. The problem with that idea is that the Church is not seperate from or immune to politics or its effect on the Church for better or worse. I think any restriction on speech is an assault on the First Amendment. From a Theological perspective I believe that the first priority of the Pulpit is to preach "Christ and Him Crucified". However, I find no Theological conflict in reminding believers of our place in society and our duties a Christians and Citizens to be educated and INVOLVED in the political proccess. I don't believe that God has called the Church as some of the early Desert Hermit Monks did and lived in caves seperated from others and the daily affairs of life. If God wanted that who would evangelize the unconverted? I think that erroneous interpretations such as " Were to be in the world but not part of the world" has led many to inaction in matters such as the political proccess which effect our lives and the Church for better or for worse. There is coming a time that to preach or teach the pure unadulterated Word of God you will have to meet underground as it is taught in countries where Christians are being persecuted for upholding the Word of God. The only Churches that will be allowed will be those who preach the "Social" Godpel which in no way will interfere with Satans Lie. Throughout history the True Church has alway prospered and grown when it was predicated. "The blood of the Maryters is the seed of the Church".
And from the looks of it that's what's what is going to have to happen in America to get the Church moving.

You are correct, Michael.  Still, many "churches" use that as an excuse and we have seen an attempt to use this law against Pastors in Houston, TX, when the lesbian mayor demanded copies of the Pastors' sermons.
