Looking to the 2012 election to fix things? Dream on!
Well, the circus is in town and the players are showing their cards.
If you think for a minute that anything conservatives can do will ensure a win in the 2012 presidential race, you'd better climb out from under your soft space and take another look!
The GOP is split. Boehner is facing angry resentment from many for giving in to Reid. Gingrich and Perry both failed to get on a state ballot for primaries. Trump has changed parties, may still jump into the race as an Independent. New Hampshire Mayor will give illegals voting rights. Courts are still shielding Obama, because 'he was inaugurated and no one has standing to question it'. Holder playing the race card but doesn't really have to, the media will cover for him. More federal pressure dumped on Sheriff Joe Arpaio, and libs want to recall him. GOP establishment places Romney high on a pedestal. Polls showing obama regaining support.
Ain't it fun folks? The game goes on, nothing to worry about, it'll all work out in the end, won't it?
What we're seeing is the game of politics, one side against the other, but both with the same goals, to win at any cost, regardless of what the audience wants, for that's just what they think of us. We're the audience. We shout and rave, jump up and down, throw things around like little children, and sometimes even come out of the stands to get wild. But everything we do has no effect on the players, they just keep playing on, maybe changing the rules a little to make things easier. And of course, the media will tell us everything we need to know, in their opinion.
If this wasn't so serious, I could sit back and watch the game. Unfortunately, it ain't no game, it's for real, it will affect our lives, our children's lives, and their children's lives. So what do we do about it? What can we do about it?
For one thing, GET INVOLVED WITH THE PROCESS! Get on your local election board, become a precinct committee member, and get honesty and integrity restored at every voting place. Talk to your friends, co-workers, family, and get their attention! Make them aware of the seriousness of where America stands and what the results could be if we all let it happen. We don't have time to sit back and watch. Conservatives are split into several factions now, and if we can't pull them all back together in time, there's no hope of winning the 2012 elections. PFA, USPU, and VDA are just a few of the sites getting serious. But there are many others that might be, that we don't know about. Let's get them identified and get us all on the same page. We might have a chance if we can do that.
I'm getting very frustrated here, trying to come up with something, anything, that will turn on the lights and get everyone involved. Anybody have a good idea?????

In TEXAS counties, that notion went NOWHERE, they refuse to meet constituents about any issues in an OPEN FORUM, they don't want an OPEN FORUM. They don't even want to meet because they are scared of what the American might say to them or about their policy decisions in support of BO or lack to stand up to BO. This is what will get a whole lot removed from office, either through Fair elections or by the point of gun when the people finally get fed up with the BS or when "Martial Law" gets implemented...People are tired and pissed off and their threshold level is like mine, we are ready to MARCH, Locked and Loaded for BEAR, and not the four legged kind.

Stingray, Would the part time Congress with their offices located inside their respective districts assist in your idea? They could then have a weekly meeting to talk to their constituents either at a the office or at a townhall in another area of the district so that they were fully aware what the wishes of the electorate were.

I'm sorry and I mean no offense, but anyone that believes that we actually elect our representatives through fair elections is a fool.
On the other hand, I can not believe how many people actually believe that these criminals we have running out government are doing a good and fair job.

There is no doubt that the political process is tainted, If any one says any thing derogatory about the process they are either branded as an on patriotic buffoon or worse an anarchist.
The only way that the political process can be controlled is by just the actions you see taking place today. Not getting on the ballot in Virginia will definitely hurt Perry and Gingrich but if that fails there is always voter fraud. The actions against South Carolina wanting voter ID and the Justis department suing them for causing undue hardship on the minorities and poor. They still need ID to collect their welfare checks and get drivers licence don't they?

Stingray, I understand your frustration and many feel the same way. The issue is with those that will not do anything, that will not get involved. They are the ones allowing all of this to happen so they can sit idly by and keep their head stuck in Kim K's fata$$ or one of a number of mind numbing shows on tv. I agree we need to keep working at it, but i am afraid the system is so corrupt and broken that it might only be fixed by hitting the reset button.

And exactly what would that reset button be, Shane? It occurred to me a short time ago that anyone who would vote for or support Obama should be considered a national security threat. Then it occurred to me that that is exactly where Obama is going...all of US are considered a national security threat. As codified in legislation, now.
So what can we do?
Educate and pontificate. And keep your powder dry. Our elected reps do not represent us anymore, and the leviathon of government has become exactly what our Founders warned us against, whether it be the banks or the pols, we have more on our plate than at any other time in our history, save for the years of our Founding when the immutable principles of self-governance were made excruciatingly clear. We will fail only if we fail to re-instate and continuously educate and promote those very values and principles that made this the most prosperous, free-est nation ever to grace the planet.
Congress MUST be replaced. The Usurper and all his handlers & crony criminals must be removed, tried and convicted in a legitimate court of law.
Oh crap...it just occurred to me....WE OUTNUMBER THEM and yet we seem feeble.
That would the mistake of making an assumption, and the mistake of right/wrong where right makes might, is also null and void now. The entire parameters have shifted. To paraphrase Gen. George Washington..." Our situation has been unpromising before, and so I trust it will be again. We must adjust ourselves to the exigency of the times...and move forward..."

The Founding Fathers instructed us in the Declaration of Independence to hit the reset button if at anytime our Government was out of control and no longer doing the bidding of the people it was designed for.

This can be accomplished by a varied means available to us now and everybody has their own ideas as to what the best path to take is. I for one believe that working locally is the best means we have now and doing so on several fronts in the fight. That being said, we still need to make sure that we keep all of those options a viable possibility.

James, so what if it looks bleak now. Find others in your area and gather together. Form a militia, or join an existing one! Put food and water away! Put guns and ammo away! make sure you have enough to assist others! But, do something constructive! If you do not have the physical means to participate, then donate! All militias need funding! Help the locals!

It's easy to go along with the "lock & load" mentality and, believe me, sometimes I feel that is our only option. However, these leftist whores have their game plan well thought out and they have been prodding us with the hope that WE'LL start something. Never give the enemy what they want. We must work in every state to keep obummer off the primary ballots. The New Hampshire primary is about two weeks away, and a bunch of us are going after the legislators. The NH supreme court will hear the challenge to obummer's eligibility. Two (2) men were rejected by the NH Secretary of State's office for (1) not being a US citizen, and (2) not being a natural-born citizen. Barry is NOT a natural-born citizen according to the US Supreme Court precedent ruling on what constitutes a natural-born citizen reached in Minor vs. Happersett 88, US 162 (1875). So, if NH rejects two candidates because of lack of citizenry and not being natural-born, then how can Barry stay on the ballot without all of them up there looking like a bunch of traitors. And if they do that, let us exploit their treason. EVERYONE should be familiar with http://obamaballotchallenge.com by now. Here's an effort everyone can join. If this half-breed does get to November 6, 2012, we better prepare long before for the coming fight with ACORN, the Black Panthers, and the [SEIU] unions. Here's a thought I'm turning around: contact your local sherrif and see if he can deputize people to watch over every polling place WITH RADIOS. If someone looks like they're going to try something, radio for back-up. One thing we cannot do is give up or get depressed. They WANT to overwhelm us! Remember! Never give the enemy what they want. We just need to be prepared for nearly anything these yahoos can dream up... and that includes the next level of 'occupy America'...
I wouldn't be a bit surprised that this spring and summer brings a wave of leftist activity that can be displayed on the TV just in time to influence the 'milder and meeker' voter.
We all know him... He's the guy that doesn't want any trouble... "Can't we all just get along?" Remember him?
