MARINES IN AFGHANISTAN TOLD TO DISARM OUT OF RESPECT FOR AFGHAN TROOPS

DID I READ THAT RIGHT? Our troops, our Marines, are told to disarm, leave their weapons outside of a meeting, on a US base, by our own military, OUT OF RESPECT FOR AFGHANISTAN TROOPS that are not allowed to take their guns into meetings.

WHAT THE HELL KIND OF INSANITY IS THAT??????? Sounds more like our Marines are being set up for another Fort Hood like massacre!

IMO, in a war zone, ordering your troops to disarm, FOR ANY REASON, is to surrender to the enemy! That is one order that I would NEVER obey, no doubts about it. I think every Marine there should have unanimously shouted out 'NO SIR, I WILL NOT SURRENDER MY WEAPON'!

I agree, someone is making for a set up. We as the Americans, know we can not trust anyone that is from the enemies side. Why in Gods great world would any soldier, General or private even consider doing so. If the Afghan's can not take a weopon in to a meeting maybe it is because they can not be trusted to keep a civil head. I would have said a soldier never gives up nor abandon his weapon. Sorry, if I am disobeying orders but I have mine and you have yours. Its time for our troops to stop playing with the fools in charge and demand immediate evacuation before we loose more lives for nothing.

I've sent this to our local VFW commander here who said he wuld get this out to all VFWs in the district.  I also mailed this to VFW headquarters in Washington, called Cornyn and Hutchison my two senators and blast e-mailed this and the attached videos to Churches and patiots. Hopefully y'all are multiplyin g this effort.  Parents of troops in the military need to be aware that there is a group strongly opposed to our defending these barbarians.

When Nixon visited our base in Viet Nam, we had to turn in all ammo. The only ones carrying ammo were the Helicopters flying cover.

I turned in my required 28 rounds of 45, my 12 M79 grenades and hid the box of 50 45 rounds with the 5 M79 rounds. I was reissued the 28 and 12 after Nixon left.
