MARINES IN AFGHANISTAN TOLD TO DISARM OUT OF RESPECT FOR AFGHAN TROOPS
DID I READ THAT RIGHT? Our troops, our Marines, are told to disarm, leave their weapons outside of a meeting, on a US base, by our own military, OUT OF RESPECT FOR AFGHANISTAN TROOPS that are not allowed to take their guns into meetings.
WHAT THE HELL KIND OF INSANITY IS THAT??????? Sounds more like our Marines are being set up for another Fort Hood like massacre!
IMO, in a war zone, ordering your troops to disarm, FOR ANY REASON, is to surrender to the enemy! That is one order that I would NEVER obey, no doubts about it. I think every Marine there should have unanimously shouted out 'NO SIR, I WILL NOT SURRENDER MY WEAPON'!

It pains me to see what I have suspected that my Marine Corps is not immune to the stupidity, ignorance, and outright incompetence brought about by the progressive education of our government indoctrination centers.
May God save the Marine Corps from the fools that inhabit the Pentagon.

Roger That!!! There would be NO way I would surrender my weapon in a war zone!!! Of course, I would not serve under our current CinC either! I am also "Old Corps" or as obama (No Capital letter on purpose)would say, "Old Corpse" and it was bad enough having to fight in Vietnam under LBJ and his Gaggle of Assholes.

You know............the way the US government has abused our military, maybe Panetta and other political self-serving scum bags have reason to be concerned about their safety.......you can only push and abuse human beings so far until a snap occurs.
The Administration should, but not likely they will. take account of the insane deployment policy, ROE, and justification to still be in Afghanistan or Iraq........
To think, gutless American leadership treating our warriors as it they are the threat...disarming them in a hostile environment should be reason enough to remove the leadership that ordered such a decision.

I have given that some pondering and the fact you have high political figures are RETIREING from politics when they spent a life time getting where they are at. (example: hillary clinton saying she among others were retiring from politics) Doesn't make sense. And panetta is as TREASONOUS as they come!
