A friend send me a recent New York Times article that details the Pentagon’s desire to take away privately owned weapons (POW) from troops under certain circumstances.

Wouldnt it be better to have our returning vets go to a group forum for support with there family members and other returning vets. Think about it, you served your country and put your life on the line, then come home to find there are no jobs and you cant support your family and the VA could care less. We need to support our troops always no matter what the cost. Obumer can go straight to h$^L for his non support of our troops and our country.
Things are going to get a-lot worse.
I deal with this a lot in my job. The Commanders all ready have the power to tell at risk Soldiers to turn their POW's into the Arms Room when they or their NCO's feel the person is at risk of harming themselves or others. The weapons are also always returned ASAP when the danger has passed.
This is where someone says they are sick and tired of the BS, and their spouse took their kids and filed for divorce, and they just got orders to head back over to Afghanistan for the 4th time. Usually their buddy tips off the Commander and instead of the person sitting alone in an empty house with a lot of booze and guns they go in and help them.
This is one more thing the Military can handle within the ranks. They have been.

SWEDEN HAS NEVER BEEN INVADED, DO YOU KNOW WHY ---------------- BECAUSE IT IS A LAW THAT EVERY CITIZEN MUST OWN A WEAPON AND KNOW HOW TO USE IT SO IF THEY GET THE WEAPONS AWAY FROM USE WE WOULD BE OVER RUN IN A HART BEAT ( DO NOT LET THEM GET THE GUNS AT ALL COST ).
