I'm not ready to anoint Trump yet. He hasn't been sworn in. I don't like some of his picks. The Secretary of State is one I don't like. I voted for Trump because he blasted Big Banks and Corporations for running America. So what does he do names a big Corp guy who believes in global warming which Trump said was phony science. Trump has walked back his stance on immigration. Although there is some things good about Trump there are some not so good things too.
But he was the only choice. Hillary would have thrown our Country over the cliff.
Michael, I believe you missed Gerard's point. Trump has back-tracked on a number of crucial issues that got him elected. We all agree Clinton would have been far worse, which made Trump the only viable choice. And I vigorously disagree that God has anointed Trump. Some of you go too far with that BS, as if some of you know the Mind of God. Trump was just the (far) least of two evils. I will support Mr. Trump as long as he stays within the bounds of our Constitution. I stated this before and repeat, we must keep Mr. Trump's feet to the fire and we must do our part as well, which means quit voting for those RINO's we have been force fed by the Establishment GOP and get behind Constitutional conservatives running for federal office irrespective of party affiliation.
I've read and heard people say that Trump is going to be the greatest President we ever had..Really! Thirty years ago Trump said adultery isn't a sin. Someone that says he has never asked forgiveness from God because he's done nothing wrong is outrageous and full of pride which could lead to a very big problem for America. But what choice did we have. Hillary a lier, criminal and an enemy to the unborn and Christians, or Trump who said he is Pro-Life and would de-fund planned parenthood and close the borders, stop drugs from coming in..etc.
Now we wait and see if Trump keeps his promises or becomes another typical Politician. The appointment of Tillison is really concerning me. He had a great candidate in John Bolton. He chose a guy from Goldman Sachs in another appointment. Remember how he blasted Cruz because he had ties to Goldman Sachs. So it's " do as I say,not as I do".
I do like the Military appointments. I hope Trump does make America Great Again, but the jury is still out.
I'm just going to admit this, I said and did some things 30 years ago that aren't who I am today... just saying.
How about Trump saying that he's never asked forgiveness from God because he's done nothing wrong?
Wretched sinner that I was, saved by faith through Grace only found in Yeshua HaMashiach.
Lee I think most of us can say that. God Bless!
FYI - I like Bolton, too, but he is a neocon, and also is a member of the CFR. However I do not believe he would be disloyal to Trump. I understand he is to be nominated for Deputy Secretary of State. I believe the man that is connected to Goldman Sachs is an ex-executive of Goldman, and not a current employee. It's obvious that Goldman has top level people in their upper echelon, so I'm not too surprised that he is considering and/or appointing people who have Goldman Sachs in their resume'. Cruz' wife was a current employee of Goldman, but even worse, she was also a member of the CFR and chair of the committee responsible for writing and implementing the North American Union (modeled after the EU, of course). They both had a very large loan from Goldman that funded Cruz' campaign, which Cruz initially denied.
Michael, we got shafted in 2010 and 2012 by Politicians who promised if we elect them they would stand up to Obama and his Agenda. McConnell and Boehner rolled over like the dogs they are and We the People were left with egg on our faces for trusting them. NO MORE! If Trump doesn't do the will of the people who elected him then there will be trouble. I don't put Trump on a pedestal. I put no politician or man on a pedestal unless the Man is named Jesus Christ!
