With less than a year left until the 2012 elections, it behooves Americans to review the past and make plans for the future. If we don’t, there may be no future, at least not one free people will play a part in. A fawning article from the AP, the source of much of the fodder for the leftist propaganda machine, spills the proverbial beans about what we can expect to see from Obama-Soetoro and his band of merry fascists in the coming months(1) .

Dramatically headlined, “In 2012, Obama to press ahead without Congress,” it approvingly talks about how Obama-Soetoro is planning to end-run Congress and the Constitution in 2012, continuing the use of executive orders, administrative rules, and things like recess appointments to illegally impose his radical Marxist and neo-fascist agenda. In addition, he plans to use taxpayer money to continue gallivanting around the country, campaigning while pretending to be doing government business. The AP “reporter” clearly approves of this lawless behavior. Not surprising, considering how the Ministry of Propaganda has covered up all the Democrat/Obama-Soetoro scandals over the past three years.

A brief look back makes it crystal clear that lies have replaced the Rule of Law for the Left. Dr. Alan Bates, MD, points out a few from Obama-Soetoro when he ran back in 2008:

“I promise 100 percent transparency in my administration.”

“I will allow five days of public comment before I sign any bills.”

“I’ll put the health care negotiations on C-SPAN so everyone can see who is at the table.”

He also reminds us about Obama-Soetoro and his “Attorney General,” Eric Holder, suing Arizona and Alabama for trying to protect the interests of Americans by enforcing immigration laws “Obama’s Corruption, Secrecy and Contempt Exposed”.

Actually, the Injustice Department has become so corrupt under Eric Holder and Obama-Soetoro, that it, like the EPA, the departments of Education, Housing and Urban Development, and Health and Human Services, should be shut down, and its employees and the political appointees in charge subjected to thorough investigation, resulting in indictments, convictions, and maximum prison terms.

However, only a fool would expect anything different. Marxists and fascists are, by definition, anti-people, totalitarian statists, who see themselves as an enlightened ruling elite, completely above the law. What should be expected, though, is strong opposition from those who supposedly have been sent to Washington to represent us “ordinary” Americans, and who, hand on the Bible, swore an oath:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

I am still waiting for the phonies in the House to pass a bill repealing ObamaCare. They couldn’t even bring themselves to defund it, and it’s not likely they will even bring the topic up, unless we do.

This is the same bunch that refused to make Obama-Soetoro obey the War Powers Act regarding his murderous war against Libya. Nor have they made any serious efforts to free the 28 budget-fixing bills held prisoner by Senate Democrats and establishment RINOs. Both the House and the Senate have been content to ignore the Constitution regarding the submission of a budget for the country for years, and it appears that this will not change this year, either.

The list goes on and on and on and on…

The point here is that we must – I repeat, must – rid ourselves of these spineless, self-serving parasites who are killing our country. There are a few fine people in Congress, and we need to look carefully at them so we have standards to judge replacements for the rest by. Ones that come immediately to mind include:

Allen West (R-FL); Ted Poe (R-TX); Louis Gohmert (R-TX); Steve Pearce (R-NM); Joe Wilson (R-SC); Jim DeMint (R-SC); Rand Paul (R-KY); Marco Rubio (R-FL)

If a candidate for the Senate or the House doesn’t have qualities and a record similar to these guys, then find someone else to vote for. We can’t afford to put up with the status quo any longer.

As for the Republican candidates for president, only Bachman and Santorum are true conservatives. The rest are RINOs, fringe libertarians, and/or phonies. But the bottom line is that if we have real, Constitution-loving Americans in control of the Senate and the House, it don’t mean jack who is president.

This video is typical of the liberal media, which is nothing more than a lap dog for Obama and his Marxist regime. Any citizen of the United States who supports our Constitution and is against the socialist/progressive agenda is branded as a right wing extremist/domestic terrorists. This tactic is taken right out of their handbook, "Rules For Radicals." Name your target, then attack, attack, attack. If lies are repeated enough, they become truths to those who can't think for themselves, but swallow what the liberal media spoon feeds them. The media has always shaped public opinion and in the hands of evil people, good becomes evil and evil becomes good. It's all around us. Believe me, if there was a militia group in my area, I would be there for training. Part of the reason for this great evil that is taking over is because God has been denied by our government and many of our citizens. People in power no longer look to Him for guidance as our founders did, and we as a Christians have let them get away with it by being silent, particularly many of our pastors by their silence against the evils in our government. To remain silent about evil is just as bad as participating in evil in my humble opinion. All I can say is that we need to pray, pray, pray, and ask God to forgive us for not standing up for Him.

Amen to that!  I'm not ex military, just a mother and grandmother who is sick and tired of the evil that has taken over this country in the guise of government. I fear for my kids and grandkids. I know that they will never have the freedoms that I grew up with. I took the necessary training to get my LTC here in MA, which is no easy task. I bought my first firearm and I intend on training as much as I can. I am not a person to give up my freedoms without a fight if it comes to that. Our Founding Fathers put their lives on the line , and many ordinary citizens like us gave their lives in order for us to enjoy the freedoms that were given to us in the Constitution. If nothing else, we owe it to them to fight for what they established.

Denise do like I do an go and get a 1911 air pistol and either in your garage or back yard learn to shoot it and if or if you have to use a real gun your hands will be on target when its needed.. My first shot is from the hip then to a combat position to protect myself. Works out to a 6in group at 20 fit and after that its down to 1in... Just saying it will help. because it teachs your hands to follow your eyes...

What a great idea Pat!  I never even thought of that, thanks. That would give me more opportunity to practice my skills with a firearm. Right now, we only have two firearms in our home, both pistols but we would like to add some rifles as well. Here in MA, we are limited to how many guns we can purchase each month. Being on a fixed income makes it difficult as well. I have not had much luck finding good used firearms that are within my budget. I am lucky that I live in a rural area where the neighbors on each side of me also own firearms. Here in MA though you can't shoot a firearm within 500 ft of any builiding, including your own home in your own back yard. I don't think it will be an issue with an air gun though. You guys are all so great. Thanks for all the wonderful tips and encouragement.

Just so you know my 14 year old gal can almost out do me. we shoot in the garage at the 15 ft range while watching TV or playing on the comp.....lololol I take it out of my desk and shoot from their or our out of the holster while standing around and doing nothing else. This will give you some ideas as to what you can do.  Then no one else will know just how good you are until you fire your pistols at the range....

I forgot I have a 18yr old grandson that lives here an does the same thing when he is not playing war games on the computor...lolololol I have to buy those plastic pellets once a week because our target has stickum on it and the can not be used but once. Also keep them from bouncing all over...lolololol

Yes Denise, I agree with you. I am 71 years old and willing to do whatever is necessary to keep our freedoms for our grand children. Time to clean out the cess pool in DC and replace them with folks that understand and are willing to live by the Constitution.
