It pains me to say that the Republican party is fighting against the true patriots for change. As per my last post on PFA there will be a RINO check coming soon. If the Republicans cave on the 2.8 billion aid for Haiti that was requested by the king, Osama Obama, it will seal the deal for me. It will prove that they are just giving lip service to placate the conservative movement. I suspect this to be true because of the way they treated Sen. Jim Bunning when he tried to stop the so called jobs bill.

I hate to say it but we as patriots have to let the republican party die. We have to risk the possibility of the democrats winning again in order to purge the country of unconstitutional representatives. Even if we risk civil war it will do the country well. Just like the recent takeover of the liberals helped to get people like me off of their asses, another win for the democrats will only beget more flagrant abuse of power which will cause more people like me to wake up. This will cause the pimple to come to a head and we can pop it and get rid of it for good. I posted a piece that I wrote for my tea party blog, “Shoot the dying White Elephant“, on.

I truly believe the time has come for a new generation to take over. When the tea party chose to tell a tea party candidate to get lost it caused me to fear that the republican party has gotten its tentacles into the tea party movement. This grieved me to the heart. If people who call themselves tea party patriots dismiss a candidate, who’s philosophy is identical to the tea party, then they are not true patriots. If we as a movement put our strength behind republicans because we think they have a better chance of defeating the democrat then we are just as bad as the liberals. For the country to be saved from the brink of the destructive path we are on, we need strong candidates that hold fast to the oath to “Support THIS Constitution”. The times are too alarming for us to shrink from the task at hand. We have to right the country even if it means letting the boat burn to the water line. We have to cut off the arm to save the rest of the body.

I for one will disavow any Tea Party patriot who chooses the Republican party over a candidate that holds fast to constitutional principals. The republican party has had many chances to prove themselves and they failed. My loyalties go first to candidates who have the courage to separate themselves from the parties and honor the constitution. Then, if there are no other qualified candidates I will back the candidate that most reflects the constitutional principals regardless of their party affiliation. Contrary to popular belief, I don’t believe there is much difference between the democratic and republican parties.

The proof of my assertion will be manifested when the republicans fall into the Haiti aid trap. Any republican that votes for aid to Haiti will be written off as a candidate and I will record their votes on my web site. I will actively campaign against them regardless of their prior votes. If a democrat has the balls to reject the Haiti Aid Package I will support him against a republican and use my site to do so. You watch and be warned, the congressmen and senators that vote for Haiti aid are enemies of THIS Constitution.

One thing for sure at PFA..........no one is tied to a party.....we have an oath/pledge listed under PFA action center tab that pretty much spells out who PFA supports........

The candidate that gets my vote is pretty much boiled down to someone running as a repub, independent, or most any other label but D......I can't think of a single candidate of the democrat party I would vote for.........now if a democrat sent me a signed copy of the PFA oath/pledge the first thing I would do is ask him/her why is democrat the party label??

I can think of a couple rational reasons but I doubt if I will ever receive a signed PFA oath/pledge from a democrat.....

Just recently the republican leadership apparatus in New York and Pennsylvania have selected a "party mole" rather than select the most popular, best known candidate who meets all conservative, constitutional, republic focused, Founding Father visions. We just threw out the Party Chairman in Florida and now he faces criminal campaign funding charges.

Personally, I can't imagine throwing out a constitutional hero such as Michelle Bachmann, though I voice "throw all the bums out" from time to time........those that should stay I can probably count on one hand.........we always need some good, certified seed for a new crop.

We need to vett candidates and choose the ones that meet the test and go balls to wall to get them elected......

Yes! But we need to do more than this! We need to FIND good people we can trust who will uphold the constitution, ask them to run for office, and HELP THEM GET ELECTED! I also think we need to ask them to run under the Republican banner. I don't approve of what Republicans have done either, but they did it because we let them. We are having great success at whipping these guys into shape in Utah (we are helped by the caucus system, I admit). But the Republican platform really is pretty good, we just need to hold the representatives accountable to that. Let's leverage off of the sheep who always vote for the R and get our guys in there.

The one thing I haven't seen on this thread is the way to take the Repub. Party and make it our own. We need to get our candidates lined out for the primaries and vote the Rhinos out before Nov. The left knows that they will probably take a beating in Nov. and they are already trying to field people as independants. American voters will be duped again by voting for a fake, middle of the road candidate that will really be progressive. We need to come together now and get our message out and taking the Repub. party as our own is the best way.

The only way to make the party our own is for the R party, and especially the RINO's, to step aside and let the best candidate run. But, there's about as much of a chance of this as a D pledging to support this constitution and meaning it. Keep your eye on the RINO test.

Rand Paul is under attack by the Repub. party in Kentucky. The Tea Party people are aware of it and are making sure all the voters know what's going on. It is up to us to make this happen in Nov.

As evidenced by this thread, there is much being said about what we could or couldn't do, We need more evidence of WHAT is being done. I had to stop monitoring most sites as I became overloaded and found myself in a fog. Well it was good that I did that because I am now involved with a candidate who I am getting behind to help take over HENRY WAXMAN's position, who I'm ashamed to say is my Representative. I used to be a Republican and still get much campaign mail from them. Seems they won't take my name of their rolls. I am going to include here a letter I just wrote to the NRCC (Nat'l. Republican Congressional Committee). I'm not sure that they will ever listen but this is only one example of the many like it that I have written.

What I am saying, the Republican establishment needs funds and if we let them know, as Twana said, we are giving our donations to individuals that will work for us and not them and they see their money going away we have a good chance of getting them to move over and letting true conservatives take the reins.

Here is the letter and following it is the e-mail I wrote to Waxman which I got his standard thank you for writing response. Following that is information on Ari David his Republican challenger who I think will do the job we need him to do when he gets to Washington. I hope this does not overload those of you following this discussion. I hope to see more examples of what everyone is doing as those kinds of messages inspire me to take the actions I am now doing. The envelope says process immediately, must be because you are once again soliciting money. I have written to you before; to Rep. Boehner, Sen. Dole, and various RNC Chairmen. You have failed to read my letters, let alone answer any, and you still want money? Sorry folks but I see no evidence you are listening to “We the People”… you know, those you work for.
I have answered your survey in the past without results so I assume this is for the money, period. You continue to support RINOs for office. You continue with your deaf ear letting, even aiding and abetting the rape of our freedoms, ignoring the constitution, padding your benefits with only your careers in mind. You doubt me? Where is the evidence that the RNC is in the game to remove Senator Boxer in California? How about Henry Waxman? No, you supported that Rino in NY, who was nothing but a Democrat, instead of the real conservative. And, I am concerned with the latest choice of Whitman for our Governor, who like you cannot seem to respond to correspondence. She tears into her opponent for the same thing she did, giving money and supporting a Democrat. What’s up with that?
Your country club attitude has to stop and there must be verifiable evidence or you will never receive a dime from me again. BTW, I reregistered Independent but that doesn’t seem to matter to you as you keep sending me your solicitations. Pretty big waste of campaign funds don’t you think? However I am conservative and now donate directly to candidates that want to support the American people, not their career, and DEFEND the Constitution. So it looks like you are no longer needed.

Congressman Waxman,

I strongly object to you and the Obama Administration forcing your monstrous unconstitutional health care bill on us. I also think you are tyrannical requiring corporations to come to Washington just because they read this monstrosity of a bill and did the math that you and other members of Congress failed to do.

After the gerrymander that gave me you as my representative, the asinine legislation you have introduced, the ridiculous hearings I have witnessed and because you only have filtered Townhall meetings where the people you are supposed to represent have no voice, I am not in favor of you continuing as my Representative.

This is to advise you that I will be working diligently to get you replaced. Your usefulness as my Representative has long ago ceased and the 30th District needs someone who will represent ALL of the people. IMHO you are totally out of step with the American people you are supposed to represent.

I hope it is alright to call you Ari. Wow, not only a response but a rapid response. Thank you for answering my questions. I think one of the most important things that can happen this November is to remove Henry Waxman from office. I want to support you and if you come to Westlake Village, Agoura Hills area let me know and I will talk to my neighbors and friends to get them to come to meet and hear you speak. I will do whatever is in my power to help you starting today. . As a senior citizen I have very limited funds (mainly due to past and current government policies) but I do have time. Please tell me where I can acquire your brochures so that I can distribute them and talk to people about you and the need to replace Waxman.

I went door to door when I was a Republican a few years back for G.W. Bush when it looked like he was not going to be elected. Ever since I have been disappointed in the Republican Party. I mostly blame them for where we find ourselves today. I am registered as an Independent but I am very conservative. I think border security is at the core of immigration policy and it is a national security issue above all else. In times like these in which Islamo-Facsist radicals have made their intentions perfectly clear about bringing WMD into our country, we need a border that is totally secure. I think we may debate who we let across the border but I think the first thing we do after we secure the border is document everyone coming across it. With documentation we can determine who is a migrant worker, who wants to live here as a citizen or resident and who is a criminal or a person looking to take advantage of our overly generous social services.

I am against amnesty for people who are in violation of our law. Immigrants are people who want to be part of our nation and our culture. Aliens are people who crossed the border illegally and must be dealt with.

I am not a fan of (un) planned Parenthood. I think they push promiscuity and abortions on people and have a terribly dark history going back to Margaret Sanger.

A friend gave me a brochure of yours asking me if I knew anything about you. I didn’t. I have since checked out your website and found information concerning a couple of issues absent. Can you tell me your position on Illegal Immigration and Amnesty? Also I would like to know if you support Planned Parenthood due to the fact that they actively promote abortions especially late term abortions.

From what I read and the videos I saw on your website, I preliminarily would like to support you and eventually donate to your campaign. But, I will not just send money if I feel you are like the rest of those in office or running for office that will not or choose not to respond to questions. I am attaching a letter I just wrote to the NRCC and copied Michael Steele so that you know I am serious about my belief that we must have a change in the mentality or attitude of the Republican Party. RINOs will not work for us any longer.

I have firmly believed Henry Waxman’s tenor in Washington was due to be terminated even before the Democrats gerrymandered the districts where they saved both his and Brad Sherman’s seats. That process also needs to be changed whether Democrat or Republican. I have other concerns (i.e. Support for Israel, Government Unions) and look forward to hearing from you.

It takes extra time but I always write what I think, knowing it will probably just end up in the round file. But I also send it to the RNC Chair in a seperate envelope. That is how I know they don't listen or apply any importance to what I have to say. I think today it is different. If they see enough of us looking at them as the middleman like the federal government is, they may finally get the message that they better start paying attention to us. Just another front to attack them on.

I appreciate your sharing of the correspondence between you and your reps. I too write endlessly to my reps to no avail. I write because it is my responsibility to do so. The fact that they ignore me does not abrogate my duty to communicate with my reps. So keep on bending their earand some day they may actually hear. Or perhaps the deaf rep will be replaced by those that can hear what the American people are saying.
