Did the forest service reopen the road? Or, did they do their usual 'double talk' and force a standoff. It looked like there was a number of armed officers at the end of the video.

In the Clinton years, it was rumored ...some National Forest were sold, swapped, used as collateral for the National debt. I did not believe it then. But, now, what is happening does logically support such a claim. What is under those National Forest Lands.......OIL !!!!! and lots of it.....Trillions of dollars of it? Sooooooo, did China say....Get off my Land?
That is what I've believed for years...the government is using our oil as collateral. I sure wish I could use what isn't mine as collateral.
In the mountains of colorado, there is oil shale, humongous amounts of it.
obama is trading a lot of our land for our 1.7 trillion debt to the Chinese.
The Chinese know all about shale.
Obama is just waiting to give all of our resources away.

I really like the video, it was encouraging to see those fiesty guys confronting the Forest Service. I also felt a little sorry for the two Forest Service people who had to face them, they were befuddled - fortunately, good sense seems to have won the day for both sides.
I also appreciate reading about the Sheriff's Association because I didn't know before that a Sheriff has that much authority in what laws to enforce.
video in Sept..2012--I live over here in Mesa County Never heard nothing about this till now. I assume the road was opened in that weeks window. sounds like the Govt.would have just let i continue had "we the people not taken the action they took.It was a fine video-they was all a lot more polite--and civil -than this old man would be.Maybe that's why it got done?Updates ?
These people need to go see what loop holes paperwork to get FEDERAL LAND back to the State. Need to have all mailed to all local citizens if their is a closing!
In essence, "There are twenty of us and two of you; are you really sure that you want to try to arrest all of us?"
I was glad to see these fellows stand up to Big Brother. Did the Forest Service get the road(s) opened?
