WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who for the past forty-seven years has
served as a weekend scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, angrily resigned from that position yesterday, effective immediately.
Justice Scalia quit his post in a terse resignation letter that read, in part:
“Some of the happiest memories of my adult life have been as a scoutmaster. Huddling under blankets around the campfire,
and so forth. But now, all of that has been ruined. Ruined.”
Shortly after sending the letter, Justice Scalia destroyed his scoutmaster uniform in the blazing fireplace of his Supreme Court office.
Later, he went across the hall to share his decision with his close confidant on the Court, Justice Clarence Thomas, telling him,
“There’s nowhere I feel safe anymore, Clarence. The military? The N.B.A.? Nowhere. I guess the only place I still feel safe is
the Supreme Court. This is still a safe place, isn’t it?”
Justice Thomas said nothing in reply.

It has been an exhausting couple of weeks for conservatives. There are so many live scandals now that it is easy to forget some of them. For instance, how many people remember that just a few weeks ago House members actually got to question DHS officials about their ammo purchases? I was just thinking about that today. How many MAJOR stories have hit since then? Fifteen? Twenty? We tend to lose count.
One thing that most conservatives are in agreement about is that this President has to go. Whether you think impeachment should start after 2014 Senate elections or now is not the issue. Most of us know that Obama has to go.
I found an organization on Facebook today that can give us a positive outlet for a lot of the built up anxiety and I want to help promote them. I am unsure if I will be able to personally attend but I have lots of friends who live a lot closer to D.C. than I do. So I am asking all of my friends, whether you can attend or not, to help spread the word. A lot of people need something like this to let go of some frustration. I know that I would love to be there myself and will try to find a way.
The march is scheduled for “Flag Day” which is Friday, June 14th. The Facebook page is called Impeach Obama March in D.C. and here are the details from the “About” page:
How tragic and sad that the Obama administration's treasonous corrupting tentacles have affected so many organizations!!! It will be a happy day indeed when they all are held criminally accountable for their crimes!!

I grew up in the Girl Scouts, with my mother as my leader. Now my family won't have anything to do with em.....I really miss the cookies. :( Now my brother is a Boy Scout leader, my boys, oh geesh, my boys. Talking about putting money into the scouts! I have 5 boys, the older two went to the top, they are 22 & 19. The middle boy is 15, then my younger two, are 13 & 10.....we have seriously invested in the BSA. They are very well aware, that this is it for Scouts, and why. They are upset about it, for multiple reasons, but fully understand and support it. momof5shortstuff
Are you saying your boys support open homosexuality in the BSA. Please tell me I'm reading your post in error. I have been a scout leader in various capacities for 20 years. This repulsive decision by BSA national is sick and demented. To role over to pressure from 3% of the population and destroy a 103 old institution, is just plain sick. I agree with Scalia and soon a competing organization will emerge and the BSA will die a well earned death! I'm done with BSA and so are my two Eagle Scout sons! Everything I have related to BSA is going in the trash. They should change the name to the HSA (Homo Scouts of America)!
No, they don't support that. They are upset about the loss of gatherings, activities, trips, friendships, etc. They support the decision to drop the Scouts.....and they are really hoping that all the families and businesses leaving, will form a new group. We are a Conservative, Christian family and have managed to raise 5 courteous, respectful, polite boys. Sorry I didn't come across better.
I heard that they would prefer a title more descriptive like Butt Buddies of America! Sad, Sad, and Sad that the elimination of body waste is the icon and main agenda. Wow!.
Al: I proudly belong to the Boy Scouts of America. I am NOT, however, a member of the GAY SCOUTS OF AMERICA, and never will be. Lord Baden Powell probably rolled over in his grave because of that caving.
