I want to get everyones opinions on several different things pertaining to this column but also to PFA.
1. Where we are as a country?
2. What is it going to take to restore this country?
3. Do you know what the works/goals of PFA are?
We are already at war in this country. So far it's a bloodless war but I believe it will be a bloody war before this country is restored.
Our goal is not to overthrow the government. But to remove all the domestic and foreign enemies of the U.S. Constitution and our Constitutional Representative Republic who've infiltrated and taken over our government seats, and restore the U.S. Constitution as the law of the land that everyone in this country lives under and by.
Just about everyone sees the need to fix our government, as it is not in our control at all at the present. We have a vast assemblage of problems, accumulated over decades of government ruling government, with no concern for “The People, and what our intents are. The problem seems to be a vast gulf between those ready to do something about our problem, and those who believe we can fix things without heavy handed action.
Colonel Pappas speaks of the story of “how to cook a frog”, Dr. Wallace provides a sound, studious look at economics, Dr. Bates shows us the clear, unquestionably deliberate acts by which this criminal president has assumed rule as dictator, with no response from the central government, not even responsive to any demands of citizens.
I am castigated regularly for being “too brazen” or “over the top”, but I have my own place in this conversation, one which has bearing on how we choose what to do. I began my career as a mechanic at less than a year old, it is my nature. By the time I was about twelve, I found it routine for other mechanics to come to me when diagnosis was necessary, I realized eventually, one technician in five has the capability of “troubleshooting”.
The primary reason we have activists, ready for change, and we have the cautious, hoping they believe and are right, we can change our ways and fix things, and those who see the merits of both positions but don’t know which side to turn to is because most people are not accustomed to finding out why something broke, and only a small portion of society knows how to do so.
I stand on the notion we have reached the point we have to confront our unresponsive servants directly; demand they fall in line, before we replace them with “servants” not self-styled “leaders”. I see society as little different than a radial engine, with thousands of parts all which must fit and work together for the engine to run right, to its full capacity. I’m not just the mechanic who can take it apart, measure everything, order the parts and rebuild it, but my skills are troubleshooting, analysis, making the big choice; tune and adjust, or tear down and rebuild. Our government problem is not one of adjustment, but everything out of line and failing. The government doesn’t even look like its picture today.
No one wants to go to war except they expect to gain something of substantial value out of doing so. Those who understand the nature of evil and man’s proclivities, more easily accept war is a necessity at some point. Those accustomed to fixing everything with committees always find the idea of “stopping the whole thing, and tearing down the main engine” horrendously fearful, and will argue against as long as there is no absolute, unassailable proof it must be done.
For our society to survive, “We, The People”, must decide who best describes our condition, and act on that decision. No one but “Us” has everything at stake. Much as I hate to say it, I hear the master rod bearing knocking, and that means if we don’t ground the bird, pull the engine, and do a complete rebuild, within a couple of flight hours, that engine is going to disassemble its self, violently, scattering parts across the sky, and our Airplane of State is going to plummet like a thousand bricks, ten thousand bits of mortar.
Our constitution is perhaps the most carefully assembled form of government ever attempted, and its extraordinary success due to its singular form. Since that first couple of decades, every idea anyone has had, has been tacked on, and we now have “a one pound federal government with five pounds of socialism, communism, bureaucracy, fascism and out and out totalitarian dictatorship” added, hooked to ever open corner or loose end.
With one part legal and five parts completely unconstitutional, we can’t do anything less than tear it all down, and start with our original form, and expect to accomplish anything other than “kick the can an ever shorter distance”. A bare glance tells this truth; a casual inspection proves the glance correct. The only reason against starting from scratch is the notion we lay at risk the whole time we are at a halt, and rebuilding. Aren’t five to one odds sufficiently equal to any risk we face at this stage?

I pretty much covered the 3 above questions on another thread. They are here...>>> http://patriotsforamerica.ning.com/forum/topics/what-s-with-all-the...
I do however think the Author of this piece sums it up nicely in the 3rd paragraph from the bottom...>>>"For our society to survive, “We, The People”, must decide who best describes our condition, and act on that decision. No one but “Us” has everything at stake. Much as I hate to say it, I hear the master rod bearing knocking, and that means if we don’t ground the bird, pull the engine, and do a complete rebuild, within a couple of flight hours, that engine is going to disassemble its self, violently, scattering parts across the sky, and our Airplane of State is going to plummet like a thousand bricks, ten thousand bits of mortar."
We don't have "the time" over a period of years to get this Nation away from the Marxists and the Jihadis. This is an uphill battle. Most say that we ALL need to get involved in our own States, become Constitutional in our own States and keep the fed at bay as it STARTED out years ago. In the meantime, while that is happening, anything shy of bloodshed is a waste of time, in my humble opinion.
I Hope what I am about to say is not boring to any of you. Of course our ship of state is leaking and the engine is falling apart and if not repaired or replaced quickly, we all will go down with the ship. So let me try to put it in terms that I would were I still doing my job for the Congress (and the people) by providing a simple analysis of the problem. It goes like this:
Everything we do on a daily basis whether just living or working or governing, whatever has as its basis a Criteria as to what is to be done, with regulations and rules implementing that criteria which in our instant case is the Constitution or the supreme law of the land.
When something is wrong with the way the law or rules or procedures are being carried out there are consequences or bad results (almost always bad results) So we look for causes. We find that in the instant case those causes are an out of control Congress and Administration that has decided that the laws, rules and yes even the Constitution need not stand in the way of progress as they see it whether it is providing for the welfare of those that cannot do so for themselves, whether it is fighting wars undeclared by the Congress, whether it is hiring dozens of CZARS to make decisions that our system already provides for in violation of the Constitution or laws or rules of procedure, the results are indeed deleterious we know the causes.
Having determined that we know what the Criteria under which our Republic is to operate and having determined that that criteria is being daily violated, as the cause for the negative consequences of our leaders failing to follow their own laws, the law of the lands, they try to obfuscate, obliterate and confuse the voting public, the citizens, We the People with so called solutions to problems that they refuse to recognize and indeed that some citizens that refuse to recognize as well, that the final part of the tri-part solution to the puzzle is the report with appropriate recommendations to correct the problems.
In short, we have the Criteria which is the Constitution and associated Bill of Rights
We have the negative consequences which show that something drastic has gone wrong,
We have full knowledge of the causes of why so much is going wrong.
We have the reports of the violations, the causes, who is responsible and all we need now are the recommendations as to how to correct them. The salient question now is who is there to listen to this report, and who is there to take action on the recommendations to correct the problems.
You see folks, this is the system by which all problems may be evaluated, reported on and corrected. It is a system which Congress back when it had wisdom and was then considered one of the greatest deliberative bodies in the world devised to determine and report back to them to keep the rest of the Government in line with the Constitution and what was expected of the Administration with a Supreme Court and a host of Federal Courts to rule on questionable practices.
At the same time folks, there was a philosophy which looked at the rules and laws and said in effect, if it does not say we cannot do something then we can. And if It says we cannot do something specific, then we cannot. If it is the former, we have a free hand to do it or anything we please. Part and parcel to this line of thinking was the fact that little disasters kept cropping up and the beaurocrats would (sometimes with the help of Congressional staffs dream up legislation designed to see to it that this disaster or happening would never happen again....but it always did so what did it gain?
It gained more freedom for the politicians to dream up new social programs especially during times of strife like the 60's riots, and the Viet Nam War and other times to pass programs designed to throw more and more money at the problems which always and I mean always had unintended consequences (look at Detroit for example) or if you prefer, look at the total lack of honor and integrity of our press today in reporting to the people unbiased and truthful results of real reporting. How is it that they can track down the absolute source of mad cow disease down to the cow that caused it but cannot find 13 million illegal aliens (oh pardon me, undocumented workers only seeking a better life at our expense).
I have already talked too much but I think you can get the point. We know the problem,, we know the causes and the consequences. now do we have the means, the honor, the character, the integrity, and indeed the courage to do something about it? Or are we going to continue for four more years playing belling the cat? I for one am for shooting the damn cat and getting on with throwing the perpetrators of these travesties of our laws and our Constitution out. It starts at the state levels with recalls of every single Congressman and Senator, NO Ifs NO buts, You will show up at a meeting with the Governors and the legislature of your states and answer to the people before we let you return to D. C. If we ever let you return. We start with Harry Reid in the Senate, his minority counterpart, and the same in the House and we do not stop until we have put the fear of God into everyone of their souls and we do not stop until we clean all our houses and that includes impleachment of the President, and every member of the Supreme Court. and I might add the abolishment of every single anti-gun act since the adoption of The Constitution of the United States.
Let us not forget the Press. We will not patronize them, we will not allow them to report anything and we will not renew a single license to any broadcasting station unless and until we are certain that the leadership has suddenly and irrevocably become totally unbiased in their reporting. Sorry for the diatribe but I must end here, I am getting too worked up. Semper Fi.
This Old Marine and Retired Federal Auditor has seen too many closets with too many skeletons in them to let this continue.
Richard I agree.
The Sovereign has the Laws, we do not have Representation and yet we have the means to replace Piss-Poor Representation.....yet.......as I posted on many websites well before the election these quotes should hit home to every single American who is sick and tired of the Status Quo, the first quote was cited over 135 years ago and yet is applicable today; How little we have learned from past mistakes; BOTH Poltically and Theologically. Why? Simply put...the MAJORITY is allowing the MINORITY to Rule. Notice the simplicity of what President Garfield shares:
"Now, more than ever, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress.
If that body be ignorant, reckless and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption.
If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature..........[I]f the next centennial does not find us a great nation. . . . it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces."
[James A. Garfield, The Works of James Abram Garfield, Burke Hinsdale, editor (Boston: James R. Osgood and Company, 1883), Vol. II, pp. 486, 489, "A Century of Congress," July, 1877.]
So, there it is in a nutshell........if the Former is what you desire, then do nothing; DON'T go to your Representative's and your Senator's offices ENMASSE and show ONE SINGLE SHREAD OF SOLIDARITY! That is what the Left has done for 50+ years; Americans sat idle.......As man's heart is sinful from birth. Actually what God said in Genesis 8:21 is ".....for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth;...." Today's Status Quo...We demand Morality and Ethcal behavor from Our Elected LEADERS and yet we villfy the very precepts that instill what we desire. Do as I say not as I do......It is NOT simply writing letters and calling Officials. The Left built relationships and talked with NOT AT these people, They got them to see their point of view.........If you want this:
"The moral principles and precepts contained in the scriptures ought to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws. All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery, and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible.” Founding Father and educator Noah Webster (1758-1843)
And If you TRULY believe THIS:
“…But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; ” 1 Timothy 1:8-11
Then you are going to have to work for it.....................However, it has been repeatedly proven Americans want immediate results of an infestation that took 50+ years to get to where we are today; just as the proverbial fat person, who after three days of dieting expects to look like Adonnis.
You have two choices people; Force or pursuasion. That is it. If you truly feel that you must have immediate results, then by all means Cross the Line of Demarcation! Plainly put......SCHATT or get of the Pot! Enslave yourselves to the pain that will be inflicted.....and then look back and say to me "Wellll THAT WAS STUPID!"
Or, Start working a plan from your household OUTWARD.....freeing yourselves of Government interferrence as we have been trying to acomplish here since November 7th.........the choice is yours!
Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus et Fidelis
you said it well ... I only disagree on one point ... that of Reid
it is not him alone but the whole congress, white house and the courts.
the whole thing is corrupt
There is remedy for that written in the Constitution, and I see it coming soon.
there is some good news lately, especially that there are some in Congress wakening up to the reality of the corruption of the Government I only pray that they will act, and we work together to make it happen.
Mr. Nygaard: You never talked too much and, that is as eloquent and accurate a single statement of analysis and what we face in attempting to formulate a remedy and effect change that I have yet seen. Kudos to you, sir, My hat is off to you and, you are a credit to this forum.
I concur that it has been like the boiling the frog analogy. Can we now cut off the gas and save the patient? Who knows where the controls are?
I am afraid that to restore the country it is a late by now. Just imagine how much fire power Obama has. He knew from the first day as president, that he can not rely on military. Any soldier will despise the Commander in chief, which never served in military. We took an arrogant bastard community organizer, who had never worn a uniform, and made him Commander-in-Chief. A guy, who had never had a real job, worked on a budget, or led anything more than an ACORN demonstration, and we made him “Beloved Leader” of the United States TWICE !!! Of course nobody is interested in the civil war for which we are not ready anyway. So it is to loose unless we have Congress and Senate which would remove Obama from office together with all his appointments and start criminal investigation.
Annul all presidential orders and not just his, but every one which is not in line with Constitution. Abolish homeland security and replace it with impenetrable border as well as many useless government offices and commissions. Unfortunately there is no such a thing as Congress or Senate with guts. People even let go the fraud of Obama’s second election. So that is why I am so sceptical. Just look where the political correctness got country now and how is giving up to Muslim’s overtaking.
But there is one thing which should be done. All the amateur radios and transmitters should be linked together in the national net. Everything could be shut down by government and taken over by censorship. Public broadcast, TV and even the phones. Without the communication it will be impossible to do anything. By the way, that ham radios are very strictly regulated in dictatorships. Transmitter max power in communist Czechoslovakia was 4 Watts. No voice, only Morse code.
"Annul all presidential orders and not just his, but every one which is not in line with Constitution. So who is going to do all of the above, NOBODY....It will take an armed revolt to remove from the power circle in Washington all three branches of the executive government, then have the States send fresh, Conservative people who have principles and willingly stand on those principles. Then maybe we can save this once Great Nation back to the Original Constitution.....May God have mercy to help those of us, who may have to make the final sacrifice......
Thank you for saying the above, John! How many times must we re-hash what is wrong...who did what...and so forth and so on...and on and on and on. IMHO we are running out of time. We need to determine a starting point, agree and commit to it and get moving on it. (We can't start determining what to do when the tanks start rolling down the streets or marshall law has begun!) That's why I am with Twana. I think she is right on about us preparing. Some of us have already and are continuing. All of us need to do as much as we possibly can....while we still can. We need to find the like minded...form groups...get ready. If we don't, there won't be anyone around to "throw the bums out" or "restore the government to its constitutionally correct form.
I just posted something that is similar to yours. It was not intentional. Next time I will read EVERY post prior to opening my big mouth.
