This is complete insanity! If our troops are NOT ALLOWED to win this war, then bring them home now. We as a people should be demanding for them to be brought home. These are our sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, moms and dads, etc. What type of people have we become that we allow the sacrifice our sons and daughters for PC by our silence, wringing of hands and inaction?

Troops have been ordered to step up watching each others' backs while they work alongside Afghan security forces, signaling a new departure in the U.S.-Afghan military relationship.
Top commander General John Allen is implementing new security precautions to guard U.S. service members from insider threats, following fresh attacks on troops by their own allies.
Americans working inside Afghan ministries are now allowed to carry weapons around their offices, reports the Associated Press. And they've been instructed to rearrange their desks to face the door, so they can keep an eye on who is coming in.
Troops have even been assigned "guardian angels" to watch over one another while they sleep.
David Cloud at the Tribune Washington Bureau reports any time troops are gathered on a joint base to work out, train, or sleep, one member of the unit must be armed and on watch for possible fratricide. That is, the killing of one's own brother-in-arms in this case.
Gen. Allen told reporters someone is now "always over-watching our forces". He didn't go into much detail — a security measure in itself — but did confirm changes had been made.
"We have taken steps necessary on our side to protect ourselves with respect to, in fact, sleeping arrangements, [and] internal defenses associated with those small bases in which we operate," he said.
A military official told the AP that Gen. Allen issued written instructions to get every troop's attention.
They're working closely with Afghan security forces and building relationships, but the truth is it's a war zone.
Last month, two U.S. officers were shot dead inside the Afghan Interior Ministry, prompting the U.S. to pull more than 300 advisers out of Kabul. The Ministry said the suspect was believed to be an employee of the departments, reported the New York Times.
In another February attack, U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Edward Dycus was shot in the back of the head by a uniformed Afghan soldier while standing guard at an outpost in Helmand province.
The most recent insider killings happened on Monday when Army Sgt. William Wilson was shot deadat a check-point in Paktika Province, while another two British troops were shot at close-range in a separate incident the same day.
In response, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said attacks by friendly forces are not a trend, stating: "These still are sporadic incidents, and I don't think they reflect any kind of broad pattern."
We reported Secretary Panetta's message was at odds with what Gen. Allen saidabout insider attacks being "characteristic" and "expected" in the kind of war the U.S. was dealing with in Afghanistan.
And it now appears Panetta's remarks really have been nullified by Gen. Allen's new directive to enhance troop security across Afghanistan.<br.

Panetta is an IDIOT!! He's the one who disarmed Marines in a war zone! Gen Allen is looking after the troops, and doing what needs to be done, and what is RIGHT and HE PUT IT IN WRITING!!!
If our troops are in this kind of danger from our "allies" -- well, they shouldn't have to fight what's in front of them, and have to watch each others backs at the same time. We need to bring ALL OF THEM HOME!! Load all of the equipment and troops and have one mass exodus, not some gradual one that only allows more of them to die!!! Let the musliums fight their own battles and kill each other off!!

If the Afghanis are killing our troops, they are NOT allies. We have had a bunch of PC idiots running our military since Viet Nam...or Korea. If they aren't allowed to win, they should not be sent to engage.

This apologetic administration is disarming our brave soldiers and setting them up like ducks on a pond. It used to be only the enemy from distant lands that our troops had to worry about. Now the enemy is from within, at the highest levels of our government and virtually shooting our troops in the back by letting this happen.
Folks, I hate to say it but I'm afraid that our troops overseas will not be coming home. Obama can't afford to have them here if he declares martial law. They would rebel against him and side with their families and friends. He'll keep them there fighting a senseless war while he uses UN troops training here to enforce his martial law.
Mike.... The number of muslims in the US is closer to 12-million. In 1970 there were 900,000 muslims in the country and in the last 10 years or less is the time frame where their numbers have increased exponentially.
Recently, 77000 muslims were pushed through INS in one week. In that short time frame, how could you ever review their information to determine their intentions. They’ll tell you what you want to hear, but their true intentions are never in the best interest of America.
Any person having any kind of ties to islam should be flagged as a national security risk. Citizenship or a visa of any kind for anyone with ties to islam should be illegal.
So while our troops are fighting them with one hand tied behind their backs, INS is welcoming through the front door.
