Constitutional Emergency

Is this prophetic?

Every time I see or hear the words something’s happening here I hear this song.

Many of our young only know of Bieber, Lady Gaga or American Idol.  For them I recommend looking up this group. There are many videos on YouTube that will provide the audio of the song.  You chose.

Here are the lyrics where you can insert your feelings and knowledge of “something’s happening here today”.  The song title is "For what it's Worth"

Buffalo Springfield – Something’s Happening Here

Lyrics: For What It's Worth - 1967

There's something happening here

What it is ain't exactly clear

There's a man with a gun over there

Telling me I got to beware

I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

There's battle lines being drawn

Nobody's right if everybody's wrong

Young people speaking their minds

Getting so much resistance from behind

I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

What a field-day for the heat

A thousand people in the street

Singing songs and carrying signs

Mostly say, hooray for our side

It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

Paranoia strikes deep

Into your life it will creep

It starts when you're always afraid

You step out of line, the man come and take you away

We better stop, hey, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

Stop, hey, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

Stop, now, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

Stop, children, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

I grew up to groups like Buffalo Springfield. It brings back old, old memories.

I was already old by kids standards today with 2, almost 3 sons.  While it was/is good music it also came with a message, one that we are seeing played out today.  Isn't it strange how what goes around comes around even as related to the Abe Lincoln Presidency to the current one that should not only be discussed but exposed for what it is/was.

Yes, I remember hearing that song many times, I wasn't very old at the time, maybe 12 or 13, reminds me of the hippies.

Yep, flower children, the peace & love people were busting out all over, not to mention the Drug culture with Timothy Leary, the women's lib movement that included Mellisa Etheridge, and a few others I no longer remember.

The sad thing is, this is now and it seems the same words apply but for our out of control government and we cannot get the same response from We the People.  Back then it was the hippies the riff-raff that frequented the free clinics on their way to a protest.  Sounds like OWS doesn't it?

Sadly, you are correct. It seems the only ones who will do much is the OWS crowd and I don't like what they are asking for. The others of that era were the anti war groups that so mistakenly didn't see that the real ones at fault were the politicians and not our soldiers.

I still listen to this song currently, it is quite poignant considering what we are facing today regarding "The Govt".  I wish there were more bands today (Read: NON-RAP) that would make and release political songs along these lines.  It seems this is one of THE BEST WAYS TO REACH OUR YOUTH!!  We NEED to awaken every mind possible, as assuredly as I'm sitting here typing this reply, we can be sure "The Govt" has our children's minds in their collective cross-hairs for proper programming, the way THEY want them to be programmed.

Any PFA Members good at lyrics and songwriting?  If so, let's hear something!!!

That is why I call the schools Indoctrination Centers.  The schools, at all levels, in America are no different than the Madrasas except they currently do not openly teach hatred for everybody but a Muslim.  Key word is "openly".

We Must Open our Eyes to Jihad, by Diana West

Sixteen-year-old Ari Halberstam was shot in the head on March 1, 1994. He died four days later.

Nearly 20 years after a Hasidic Jewish boy riding across the Brooklyn Bridge (pictured) was killed by a Muslim fighting jihad, a British soldier was hacked to death and beheaded on the streets of London by Muslims fighting jihad.

Thanks to the happenstance of a passer-by with a video recorder, the world heard almost immediately from one of the two London suspects, Michael [...]

Obama Lied about Islamic Terror Threat

Terrorism analysts are rebutting President Obama’s assertion that the “scale of the threat” from Islamic terrorists has reverted to pre-Sept. 11, 2001, levels.

“This is a total fabrication,” said Steven Emerson, whose Investigative Project on Terrorism tracks radical Islam. “The ‘scale of this threat’ in the 1990s never closely resembled the terrorist attacks post 9/11. This is an outright lie.”

The Heritage Foundation has been cataloguing foiled terror attacks post-9/11 by Islamic groups. The number: 54.

James Carafano, a military analyst at Heritage, said the 1990s’ numbers [...]

Claims of Sharia Law being Enforced in The Hague

There have been calls for an urgent debate in the Dutch parliament about the integration of Muslim immigrants amid claims that one area of The Hague, known locally as “the Sharia triangle”, is being run by a form of unofficial Sharia police.

The claims relate to the district of Schilderswijk, about two kilometres from the city centre, where an almost entirely Muslim population of some 5,000 people surrounds the El Islam mosque, fuelling criticism that the government has failed to ensure a [...]
