I was watching both Hannity and on the Record with Greta Van Susteren about Obama’s pick for the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor. Everything that I have heard about her tells me that she is radical liberal and she even said that the Court is there to make policy.
The Republicans in the senate have a way to stop her, according to Karl Rove. In order for her to be confirmed, at least one Republican has to vote for her in committee. If no Republicans vote for her in committee, then the confirmation can not go to the floor of the senate for confirmation. These are the Republicans on the Judicial Committee:

Larry, I agree. I was so stoked and sent letters, but bottom line is she is hispanic. She can say whatever she wants and get away with it. All reps are white, and if they fight this, they will be called racist. They have no backing on this one. I just completed my mission to contact all those on the list with the following message:

Judge Sonia Sotomayor, President Obama's pick to become the newest Supreme Court justice, is on the record with some very controversial remarks about 'race', 'diversity,' 'judicial activism' and female judges vs. male judges.

For example, the New York Times reported that in 2001, at the annual Judge Mario G. Olmos Law and Cultural Diversity Lecture, Sotomayor had this to say:

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

“Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences,” she said later, regarding non-white, female judges, “our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging.”

In regards to the You Tube video of Sotomayor: "speaking at Duke University, In the video, she said: "All of the legal defense funds out there, they're looking for people with court of appeals experience" because "the court of appeals is where policy is made." Excuse me? Where does it say that in the constitution?

This was not a mistake or a slip of the tongue as she insinuated....this is what she truly believes. She has no intention of following the Constitution.

"U.S. Appeals Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor voted to deny a racial discrimination claim in a 2008 decision. She dismissed the case in a one-paragraph statement that, in the opinion of one dissenting judge, ignored the evidence and did not even address the constitutional issues raised by the case.

This case is currently under consideration by the current SCOTUS. To not reverse Judge Sotomayors decision would be a travesty of justice and a blatant case of reverse racial discrimination.

This case alone, the others not withstanding, though I don't see how they could be ignored, is exactly why Judge Sontomayor should be denied the seat on the United States Supreme Court.

We really need to get the word out on this individual who obviously does not believe in the US Constitution and will not support it in her Court.
