Don't worry folks, I WILL let Raffaele do most of the work here. But since I'm already here ----- - - - - - ,,,,, You know you can't shut me up.

It's also the home of Mr. Ted Cruz. US Senator from Texas.
I had the pleasure to be a delegate at the Texas Republican convention in 2012 when Ted Cruz won the State nomination. And - yes - I did vote for him. So far I still do not regret that - - yet.
During the OAS/PFA mission in Washington D.C. George Massau and myself were the ones who hand delivered the Articles of Impeachment to Ted Cruz's office. All I can say about that is that the place was packed with high-roller very expensive suits and large brief cases. We didn't get to visit with him at all. And needless to say like everyone else in Washington Ted Cruz did nothing with those articles on Impeachment. So much for that attempt;
THE RED RIVER, BLM, IMMIGRATION, AND THE TEXAS BORDER;
WOW - Talk about hot button current subjects.
The BLM and the RED River; The BLM is trying to claim 116 mile long stretch of land on both sides of the Red River, and they are telling Texas Ranchers that they don't own the land. Even though they hold the deeds and pay taxes on the land. They are even telling some of them that they don't own the land their homes are built on. Now that Texas / Oklahoma border has been a point of dispute for well over 120 years, but sometime back around 1923 the two states came to a good agreement and settled on the middle of the river - where ever that happened to be at any given time. ( I guess within reason because the river does meander during rainy and dry seasons). But so far everyone has managed to get along with the current agreements.
Everyone except the BLM and the Federal Government. They want to go back to the original Louisiana purchase when the land (and the border was wide open). You see Texas was NOT a part of that Louisiana purchase. Texas took and then bought and paid for the land from Mexico. And Texas was it's own free Republic Country prior to joining the United States in 1846.(or 1848). Texas never did cede the land to the United States Government. But the BLM now wants to use the Louisiana Purchase as an excuse to claim 1/2 mile of land on either side of that River as being federal land. There's all kinds of documents pertaining to all of this and most of that is beyond the scope of this thread right now.
However - needless to say Texans are not very happy about any of this BLM mischief and meddling.
Fortunately our Texas Governor Gregg Abbott is on the side of Texas, and he has decided to fight the BLM,,,,,,,,,, Well that's where Raffaele's articles will come in. Gregg Abbott IS a Texan, and I'm sure he will fight for the rights of Texas. Just how much of a fight he will put up is the question. Texas also has a Land Commissioner. (get ready for this one) That Texas Land Commissioner is George Prescott Bush. Son of Republican Presidential candidate and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
He has also entered the fight against the BLM. Texas US Senator Jeff Sessions has also entered the struggle. So perhaps Texas might actually put up a fight after all.
But keep in mind, this being Texas - that's not the last of the story or the extent of the people and groups that may be involved. Remember the Alamo.
Immigration and the Border:
The Obama administration has just cut the aerial surveillance budget by 50%. Recent reports say that over 600 Cuban nationals have crossed that border in the last two weeks. The border patrol reported that last year more than 70% of all illegal immigrants that entered the US from Mexico were OTM's (Other Than Mexicans) They also claim that over 10,000 people crossed into the US during that time frame.
We are fortunate that right now at least Texas still has a strong Republican Congress, and we have some good representatives in Austin.
And THAT brings us back to what Raffaele posted on the other thread, so with that I will get out of here for a few minutes and hope that Raffaele will pick this up and continue.

Raffaele and I will try to compile a letter that can be sent to all Legislators, in all States, not only Texas.
We could think about making this a national movement.
If we can get enough people organized to go to their own State Capitals and present these grievences and items, maybe we can make a difference.

Please give us a little time ; WE are working on compiling this letter ; it needs to be done Once and done Right . It needs to go Viral on F.B. and All Places .
RIGHT ON O.R. ; Of course our Texas coast and our cavalier Governor are first in the cross hairs. He needs to further back up his back talk to OBUMMER.
I'm also a member on the other site with Mr. Cafagna and I just gave my input in that Texas group about lack of input. At this time it reflects a universal symptom, (along with another I've harped on constantly- different web sites NOT Uniting with one another due to petty differences, ego or whatever): SO as to not repeat myself, I'll copy/paste - Several things stand out here worth noting: FIRST: In order to bring attention to a "Bad Situation" and succeed, more than just 1 or 3 or 5 people need to be shouting out their opposition to the problem. If we propose to gather 50 Texans and even better hundreds of thousands of Texans to get the Governor to confront the influx of Cubans arriving and coming, ( AND AGAIN- HEADS UP ! ! - Are there muslim Jihadis sneaking in with them ! ? ! ), how will Triple M of Texas accomplish this if YOU MEMBERS don't get off your butts and start inputting here ? ! ? If there ever was "proof in the pudding" this is it. DO YOU REALLY GIVE A DAMN FOR THE FUTURE OF YOUR CHILDREN'S COUNTRY? Yes this law was passed fifty some years back but it NEVER DESIGNATED TEXAS as THE PLACED of ARRIVAL for CUBANS. Now consider again, the Use of Your Tax Dollars...Consider there is an upcoming election. So are you going to vote in another bunch of "overlords" who will tax to rule over you and effectively enslave you and your money. This issue needs to be confronted now. But moreover we the voters need to put the fear of GOD in these candidates. See POLITICS is the ONLY "Sport" in which You Are Penalized For NOT Participating. Right now fellow members it's time to start with this and NOT allow All the Work that Mr. Caffagna has busted his ass to accomplish go to waste. Some sort of solution to take to the governor can be developed here that many, many Texans would respond to and flood the governor's office calling for him to call the legislature into Special Session to rectify this situation. Let's lend our "Balls" to the Governor so he can tell Obama to tell these Cubans to swim to Miami where the hotels will put them up or camp out on the friggin White House lawn.
