Like it or not, such rallies are largely seen as 3rd world activities.  Do they work?  Sometimes, sure.  We must keep in mind that unless the turnout is over 1/2m, it will be completely ignored by the government media.  The protest against Hairy Greed in Searchlight NV attracted tens of thousands and the media described it as "dozens, maybe hundreds of people."

For these reasons, I believe we need a draw, a hook.  Although it is true that all patriots should rise to this occasion to show our numbers, Americans historically need to be "marketed to" to get them to act or respond.  I understand that people should be there for the sake of the cause but they all also should have written in Ron Paul at the ballot box instead of staying home or voting for the treasonous, anti-American John McCain.

Counting upon vast numbers of Americans to go this far out of their way without some carrot, some entertainment, some draw, just for the sake of patriotism doesn't seem like a winning bet to me.  But then, I've never been accused of being an optimist and I intend to fly from the Soviet Socialist Republic of CA to attend.

Bobby.........read the mission  clear through.......view all the URLs.  What more "hook" do you need.  Do you realize the threat..........America is being destroyed.....this is not a rally.  It's a movement to action.......what is it you don't understand?

I guess I don't understand how we let things get this bad.  Maybe I  don't understand that it's just possible that the American people have had enough to actually finally do something about this mess.  I'm just spewing thoughts and making suggestions.  I'm very much onboard.  And I will read the mission all the way through and check the URLs as you suggest.

Col. Riley, There are many things I don't understand completely but am confident as the days and weeks go on things will become more clear.  My question that I am trying to get my head around:  Are we trying to get a massive crowd there for the 16th/17th? Or if people only have a couple of days to be away, should they stay home?  I believe I can get a fairly good number to go from MI but would do it like I have in the past, and then they would return home in a couple of days.  Then there would be those of us that stay on for weeks if necessary.  Am I thinking of this correctly?  The statement will be made on May 16 and "all hands on deck"??

Tammy..........we need a gigantic/massive statement on May 16/17 and then we expect a drop-off and will attempt to manage an even flow in D.C. post May17...........but the post crowd should be large.  We cannot become a one or two event......it must be long term for maximum results........close DC down for weeks if we can......

Spot on!  Hopefully,  military giants like Adm. Lyons, Mad Dog Mattis, Lt. Col. West, Congresswoman Bachman, Sarah Palin, R. Paul, T. Cruz,  Ted Nugent, Hannity, Levin and other great conservatives can be convinced to participate and speak to the masses.  This thing is getting big and it shouldn't take much to persuade them to be a part of.

Rocquedog, the col. has stated there will be no large stages or sound systems etc.... If those people wish to attend it should be as concerned citizens, just like us.

Copy that, however,  you can bet the MSM will be zeroing in on them and as far as winning the hearts and minds of the sheeple,  it can go a long way in having them there.  stages or not.  Positive PR can only benefit the movement.

Why is it that when we, as Americans, see the spark of HOPE and OPPORTUNITY, it ALWAYS brings out the naysayers and scoffers? There exists an obvious problem, and with problems there exist solutions. It is apparent that Col. Riley, MG Lallely, et. al. have thought this through long ago and are seeking support for this soon-to-be historic event from those who see no other solution. They are counting on guys like me (Veterans) to "git er done!" I too am attending along with a cadre of like-minded guys from the Left Coast.

Huuah!  We oathkeepers from Az. will be on your 6!   God Save The Republic!!!

Very inspiring video. It goes to show you that anything is possible. We can do the same thing here.

WE WILL NEED FIELD KITCHEN'S FOR FOOD AND MEDICAL CENTER'S. THE RESTROOM WILL BE LOCKED DOWN AND THE WATER WILL BE TURNED OFF AS IT WAS DURING  THE VETERAN MEMORIAL'S SHUTDOWN IN OCT, PLUMBER AND LOCKSMITH SKILLS WILL BE NEEDED. LARGE INDUSTRIAL PLASTIC BAG'S WILL BE VERY USEFUL FOR MANY REASON'S. WEAR GOOD STRONG CLOTHES AND REMEMBER D.C CAN GET VERY HOT AND RAINY DURING MAY...THINKING??

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
