This lecture by G. Edward Griffin, given in the late '60s, exposes the hidden plan that shapes U.S. foreign policy and that the ultimate objective of that policy is the same then as it is now — disarmament and world government.

Council On Foreign Relations: Influencing American Government
Despite promises of "change," as uttered by Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and now Barack Obama, successive presidential administrations have in common the fact that important posts are staffed by individuals from the same small organizations who direct our nation's policies.

  • Thanks.

  • Nothing has changed in politics since I was born......Same-o same-o......Same promises, same agenda, same everything. We've been totally brainwashed since birth to think that we are free...Its time to show them how to be free, stop the insanity now!  Restore Constitutional Government according to the Declaration of Independence....

  • Satan is alive and well in the USA.

  • And they are going to use 386,000 Foreign troops to execute the "Small Arms Treaty" in the name of "Civilized Society" to bring in the New World Order, after they have attempted to disarm the American people. It ain't going to happen, fellas. You don't have enough men to do the job, because nearly every man and woman in this country knows how to use guns and if you continue to press your agenda, we will take you to task. Either you can leave standing up or you will be taken out Feet first.....Your Choice, mine is already made up........

  • Each generation which finds a means of establishing liberty, freedom, individual rights, and the means to declare such on authority beyond the reach of men is immediately assailed by the class of man which has always risen to the top because of its eager aggressive willingness to kill and or die to rule, and have no considerations for anything at all but power.

Such has been established a thousand times or more around the world, based on many suppositions, with our own Declaration one of the clearest, most cogent statements of natural law and self evident truth to support it, and perhaps the strongest support for such an egalitarian society, with the terrain of the nation, the mix of people, and the nature of the task of establishing a new nation, all well fit the ideology and it fit the necessities for the kind of a culture, the form which must come to be to conquer what was before our founders.

Strength of body and character were both demands for such a society, and antidotes against totalitarian rising with ease, however nothing is proof against such notions which are always waiting in the wings, and ready at any opening, to move in and assume power.

Jefferson was the most articulate in stating the issue all the founders were most concerned with, the fact the form of "a free and independent people, taking the full fruits of their labor, and ably investing it in their own business being the most efficient cost effective means of capitalization of business, with the least losses between the application of labor, and the accrual of the fruits, leading to profitability never before experienced, the likelihood of a broad middle class which would come to similar levels of wealth as were once only for Kings and Emperors, and from this.  The first generation to experience this would be the founders, well established in hard work and principle, and well grounded in the reapings of failure.  Their fears were for their own children, and even more, for the second generation, which they saw as growing up in the midst of this wealth, while being the "mainstay working class", but having none of the experience of work habits, they themselves had, and knew as fact, were a "first principle" necessary for such wealth to be realized.

Having contended for decades, many of them, the least of them having fought in the war and the social upheaval which accompanied or establishment, they felt secure among their own generation, but knew no other generation would begin with the experience of coming to "middle class" via the hardships that had always come before.

There was no question all citizens with the opportunity to engage, would do so with enthusiasm, there, at the time of change, having known no authority and power of their own, and finding such things worth the effort, but also knowing their own children would never experience the hardships, and would arrive in middle class wealth with similar attitudes as they had observed in aristocracy.

Our current form, derived from "the republic", but having risen to its highest height industrially, and in economic power, came to that point at about the same time the least amount of effort was required to live in the majority class of our Nation, and with the least personal cause to be diligent regarding politics, the study of history and assuming command of that avenue, for the purpose of keeping control of what had been brought to fruition.

Such a situation is a natural one for a rapid change in politics, moving from those of practical application and its success in achieving goals established, to becoming names known for having accomplished, and becoming icons, in and of themselves, and becoming "the elect", because of performance under previous circumstances, demanding skills demonstrated.

From such a point, cronyism is natural, popular election rather than professional election comes naturally, they are seen the same at first, and only later lose connection, and out of this no longer clear cut, performance based choice, comes cult of personality, as it easily replaces actual personal capability.

From that point on, the nature of politics is for real reason to lose value, as idealism can assume a place in politics because the wealth of a broad middle class makes politics no longer life or death, but "a better way, or a more difficult path", with the capability of politicians suggesting it ceases to simply be a matter of good and bad, truth and lie, honor or dishonor.

A harshly demarked separation of poor, working class, and wealthy ruling class makes people live upon principles, choose between harsh realities, and hold principle even when it is not impacting life and death, but moderate differences.  Once the working class has the wealth for their work, they lose the distinction between working class and ruling class, and lose the cause to cleave exactly to principle, first, last and always, and become capable of "situational ethics" of considering moral relativity".

Only a people who remain attached firmly, absolutely to principle can keep control of their ideals, because principle is the foundation of ideas, and ideals come out of ideas which prove out, or appear to prove out as workable, and useful.  Once one is no longer willing to die to keep what is earned, everything becomes "relative", and ease of earning, coming of age in ease, and arriving in the wealth making status from youth, without having to fight for survival to get there means being able to earn the high middle class income has come at almost no price at all, and for this reason, the taking of a portion is easily acceptable, even if the rationalization of the "taking" doesn't fit principle.

Socialism is the natural result of people arriving at such a point, and choosing to feed those who will not work, even at their own expense, because they have the excess, and can, without pain, and they believe they feel pain when they observe people who will not work, living in poverty, and seeing desperation in their lives.

Such people begin with their own excesses, sharing and simply accepting less of their own, but at some point, recognize those they've supported have grown in number, and they must either support them at their own detriment, or look to have others in society accept their idealism of supporting the non-working, and expecting from those according to their ability, to help those "according to their need".

Socialism comes directly out of personal "feelings" of "charity" for those who "will" not work, and while at such a point, is morally reprobate, but not evil.  It is immoral because those who won't work, should not reap.  It becomes evil when there is not enough in the individual, and that person puts the onus of expanding his "egalitarian design" on others by pressure of guilt, and later, by pressure of law.

Our establishment on the natural fixed, unchanging principles established with our Declaration of independence, and its status as our National Creed, denoting natural law, self-evident truths, and the sole use of rational reasoned consideration to discover truth, and to live according to it, is the single most secure form of proper self-governing ever established, and as close an approximation to the ideal of living with God, our Creator, our direct and exact king, without intercessors between ourselves and our God as King, as Israel was established.

What has been demonstrated as existing would come to be immediately, were it wiped out completely, as establishing a nation which is predicated on Godly, fundamental principle, immediately establishes a power vacuum for evil.  The moment evil has been surmounted, put down, and exiled, the "good" who accomplished this turn to their positive efforts to profit and expand, and leave behind the memories of evil rising, and  will refuse to acknowledge it again until it reaches a height it must be confronted and fought with.

We have to confront today's issues in our Nation without regard to the fact there has never been a time when our success was not a siren call for unprincipled people to come and assume a low profile while building a means of assuming power by insurrection or simply assuming ever more power until sufficient has been accumulated to simply assume the role of King.

Our Declaration stands as the single most clear cut statement of logic and reason for personal independence, individual rights, and natural Sovereignty.  The achievement of the same is the most common way for all of it be lost, because having been achieved, it rests easy, and with the full cost paid by those not present, it appears to have come to fruition with far less blood, toil, and death as the real cost.

On this basis, we must push all the way to revolution, because that is the sole means of re-establishing the republic in its first form.  If we do any less at all, were we to establish it as it was sixty years later, it would be sixty years closer to falling again.  The desire of those in office is to restore it to two decades ago, knowing well it will cover that difference the second time in mere years, having experience.

There can be no such thing as "representative government" except that independent Nations, established on voluntary societies, choose to engage each other in peaceable relations dominated by trade.  It is nigh impossible to keep representative government for 300 million, in a nation with its whole history founded on "sovereign citizenry and full independent rights", as we observe with our problems of being subsumed today.

The very idea of representative government in a world is beyond ridiculous, the sole thing which we all have in common is life, but we all live in so diverse a world, there can be no balancing of needs, no egalitarian compromises accomplished by men who can't know all the intricacies which interact and provide for the "unintended consequences" far beyond our ability to foretell.

The sole reason for establishing any form of world government is simply to achieve the establishing if the highest seat of mortal power in this world, and there is no logic or rationality which can be put forth to suggest this can possibly be good for the inhabitants of any Nation, much less the world.

We must fight this ideal as the culmination of evil, the purpose evil has in all its drive, and know Man is and always has been in his best place when we have the most diversity and cultural separation allowing us to freely move to forms and places we most enjoy in principle.

The Canadian Free Press states, "because without the United States of America, there is no free world".  Consider that very carefully, and know the Canadians have lived with the United States since our inception.  They, and their counter parts, Australia and New Zealand, know more about America's true stance, our principles, and their nuances, some now lost, than we possibly can, because they have seen what the least little change will cause, as outsiders, seeing liberty and freedom with not just a little bit of envy.  We would do well to take their perspective of ourselves as more accurate than our own.

    Semper Fidelis,

    John McClain, GySgt, USMC, ret.

  • Edward,  Why do you think obama and his cabal are working so hard to disarm us.  His stooge Kerry just signed another dis-arming policy with the UN.  If we don't get rid of these demorat politicians in 2014 we are doomed with nothing left but an armed revolution that won't work unless the military leads the way.
