Alexander's Essay – July 5, 2012
"Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it." --Declaration of Independence (1776)

This being the week designated to celebrate American Liberty, I paused to read the Declaration of Independence, as I do every anniversary of its signing. In that venerable old parchment, our Founders reduced to words the eternal source of Liberty as "endowed by our Creator," and then outlined their grievances against an imperial executive who willfully violated that endowment "which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitled them."
The Unanimous Declaration was, in the words of Thomas Jefferson, its principal author, "the declaratory charter of our rights, and the rights of man."
It opens by defining those rights, framing the relationship between the Creator and His people, the people and the government, and then listing how the executive had violated their God-given rights, "all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States."
Among those "injuries and usurpations" committed by the executive, they noted:
"He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good. ... He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them. ... He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers. ... He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance. ... He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation."
The comparison between the imperial powers which gave rise to the American Revolution and the imperial presidency which now threatens the Essential Liberty our Founders fought for, and generations of American Patriots have since defended, is unavoidable.
Barack Hussein Obama recently lamented, "It turns out our Founders designed a system that makes it more difficult to bring about change than I would like sometimes." However, he added, "One of the things about being President is you get better as time goes on." Indeed, he has become quite better at forging ahead with his agenda to supplant Rule of Law with rule of men, in flagrant disregard of his Oath of Office.
The evidence of Obama's self-anointed imperial status is mounting.
He created swarms of "czars" unaccountable to Congress. He circumvented Congress by using the Environmental Protection Agency to implement his cap-and-trade scheme. He used the National Labor Relations Board to circumvent the Employee Free Choice Act. He used the Federal Communications Commission to circumvent the judiciary's proscription on regulating the Internet. He used the Department of Education to force national education standards.
In other cases, Obama has simply ignored the law completely.
He ordered the Department of Justice to cease enforcement of the Defense of Marriage Act. He ordered the Department of Health and Human Services to force private religious institutions to fund abortions and other measures contrary to their Biblical moral code. He ordered the Department of Homeland Security's immigration service to use "prosecutorial discretion" in order to stop the mandated deportation of illegal immigrants.
Regarding the latter, even former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales responded, "To halt through the deportation of some undocumented immigrants looks like a political calculation to win Hispanic votes, and subjects him to criticism that he is violating his oath of office by selectively failing to enforce the law."
Most recently, Obama claimed "executive privilege" to avoid further investigation into "Fast and Furious," a scheme designed to promote the administration's efforts to undermine "the palladium of all rights," our Second Amendment.
Of course, Obama's imperial ascension is fully in keeping with his narcissistic pathology, and he's made plain that he doesn't intend to be constrained by the law.
Soon after his election, his former Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, proclaimed that Obama would use "executive orders and directives to get the job done across a front of issues." And Obama himself boldly decreed earlier this year, "Whenever Congress refuses to act, Joe [Biden] and I, we're going to act. In the months to come, wherever we have an opportunity, we're going to take steps on our own [to implement my agenda]."
In the Declaration of Independence, our Founders' long list of objections to government assault on Liberty closes by condemning the executive "for altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments" and "exciting domestic insurrections amongst us," and notes, "A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."
Today, Obama's pledge of "fundamentally transforming the United States of America" is brought about by attacking the free enterprise system, by altering our form of government in favor of Democratic Socialism, by pitting one group of Americans against another, and by justifying a domestic insurrection called "Occupy Wall Street."
The Declaration concludes, "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."
Fellow Patriots, whether by ballot or bullet box, we must pledge no less to preserve Liberty.

Where would you start, with who, with what?
Rambo without a jockstrap? I don't think so!
Walking through a mine field blind is NOT a plan of action! I would give a Kamakazi pilot a better chance of survival.
Logistics,communication and co-ordination will be,as always, a major problem.
If a small group attempts action helter skelter it will surely fail. If you are looking for a moral victory,... be my guest!
I had something else in mind, like preserving the UNION and our freedom.
Keep in mind this is NOT the government of the 1800's. Any action will have to be concerned with night vision predator drone planes,satellites, the FBI,NSA,SS among other security agencies to include the CIA. Not to mention the disruption of cell phones,TV,GPS systems and the most hallowed of them all the INTERNET.
Carrier pigeons anyone? Perhaps you can see the daunting task that you suggest!
90% of all law enforcement will do as told, Constitutionally legal or NOT, the US Constitution will be out the window, till we restore the US Constitution,... that is what this is all about,.. isn't it?
If the time arises for action, we must have a person or persons in charge to organize and co-ordinate.
My main question is HOW, how will an operation of this magnitude be kept a secret?
You can supply yourself with the required needs.
You and Ken among others sit tight, lets see what developes between now and November.
The active military of all branches is the TRUMP card,.... who will they side with?
Keep in mind it is a lot easier to prevent a war than to stop one!
As for me personally, I seek nothing short of removal and prosecuting the entire US Government(all three branches) and administration,to include 99.9% of the state's legislation with great prejudice for treason with appropriate punishment.
If we can accomplish this without firing a shot, then we will have accomplished more with less than the entire world has done from the beginning of time to date.
We will have found an alternative to war!

If you propose to accomplish your goal through the courts or the ballot box I would suggest to you that we are way beyond that path having any success. Having a certain level of experience in the areas that Clarence and Ken discuss it is possible to do what they suggest, however, it would require a great deal of time and money. Plus the individuals involved would have to be totally dedicated.

If I had the answers to your questions I wouldn't be writing letters.
Perhaps a legalized court of civilians to pre-empt the government controled courts, short of that a vigilante court action is looking good!
Without naming names, bottom line,I do have a certain amount of faith in some of our members.
If I can read between the lines.
I have no plan, they MAY have a plan, I'll take May over No at this point in time.
After Six days in November it may turn into Seven days in May!

These are only suggestions,... if I had the answers I would be doing something about our problems.
But, Johnny Smith has the right approach. We must have a plan for replacement prior to removal or we are courting disaster.
Actually I can see but one way out, if those in charge will not go quietly into the night!
I'm NOT talking about the use of the SECOND AMENDMENT either. That may be a benefit but not the solution to our problem.
The one thing that is stopping BO at present is the undeterminded direction of our military, as the military goes, so goes our nation. If you know of someone in the military you may want to ask their opinion.

Permalink Reply by Johnny Smith on July 6, 2012 at 7:08am Just to add to this argument Marvin, the very first order of business would be to have a plan in place for the replacement of this government with something better. Who or what would we replace the president with, the congress and the judiciary? I would suggest that we need intelligent folks who speak and write in simple terms to lead our nation instead of the intentionally confusing lawyer types who speak and write in riddles, never to be understood by normal people. After that stipulation and that they be constitution based in their thought process, what next. We will have to have specific names to fill our new government immediately or else anarchy will ensue.
Permalink Reply by Marvin Green on July 6, 2012 at 8:30am Johnny I don't think we need to replace our form of government. I am firmly convinced that our Constitution is a divinely inspired document. I do not believe that all those brilliant men gathering in Philadelphia in 1776 or 1787 was an accident. The problem is that we humans, as usual, screwed it up. It probably wouldn't hurt to tweak it a bit. For example, term limits. The founding fathers never envisioned such a thing as professional politicians. Their view of the future was that any one elected to congress might serve two maybe three terms at the most and then go back to whatever private business they had. I don't have a problem with lawyers in government. The problem is finding honest lawyers. Some additional tweaking might be to make it easier to remove members of congress. I think Rick Perry had a great idea, make congress a part time job. Along those same lines we need to require congress not be allowed to vote themselves perks. Congressional pay should be whatever the average wage is for the member's district plus a cost of living for the DC area. Those are just a few examples. The biggest problem we have is that the three different branches of our government no longer function as a check or balance to each other. In this latest fiasco the Supreme Court should have made one very simple ruling, this legislation is not constitutional. Period. Instead Roberts did all sorts of legal gymnastics to say it was legal. By doing that he and the four that voted with him proved they are not worthy of sitting on the court. Here again there needs to be some process for the people to say these justices need to be removed. As I have said many times before, the problem our cause has is that we have no leadership. And, who can blame those with the required leadership ability for not stepping up. Our political process has become such a cesspool of immorality that no descent person wants to get involved.

Young blacks between the ages of 14-28 are in gangs attacking whites in Columbus, OH, Norfolk, VA, washington, DC, Cleveland,OH, and many more cities in our country. These attacks are not being reported by the media because of Obama. WE MUST ARM OURSELVES. There are many victims, yet no criminals have been locked up or taken to jail. WHY????
We have been brain-washed for years thru the media, tv, radio and our education system that all people are the same. Wrong, our differences be it religion, race, culture, disabilities and other variations does not give us the right to do what we want. Our nation is governed by laws and regulations that keep us in a civil and protective society. If we allow one type of person to do illegal acts, this will continue to everyone else. Right now our government is not inforcing the laws. We will no longer live in a civilized nation if this continues. We, the public, will have to take the law into our own hands. As it is now, the only way we can take control is by REMOVING OBAMA, HIS CZARS, HIS CABINET, THE CONGRESS FOR THEY ARE TRAITORS TO THE CITIZENS OF THE U.S.A THEY MUST BE JAILED, SENTENCED AS TRAITORS AND HUNG. OBAMA SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME PRESIDENT, BUT HE BOUGHT THE CONGRESS AND THE SUPREME COURT JUDGES.

You most assuredly will be a cross between Hannible, Alexander the Great,Robert E Lee,George Patton and Eisenhour if you produce a workable plan.
