Hey lisa its ron,we met at hcr6 in march and i hope you've been well. I just listened to that song you posted and i love it, and i have a question for you. You've been involved in this longer than me so please tell me why each time i suggest to people that we should peacefully picket our legislators homes on serious issues like acorn does, they all freak out and say that writing and calling is the way to do it. The people that are ruining our state, country and our lives should be made to feel as uncomfortable as they make us feel if we speak out, and by the way they vote. Are they just too lazy to get up and fight or am i way off base, i value your opinion...ron.
What we have recently started doing is picketing their offices. I think people are just real uncomfortable going to people's homes and that we are better than that. I tend to think it should come to bothering them at their homes, but understand that this is not for everyone. Everyone has their own comfort level. I belong to another group the NH 9 12 project and the idea has been floated around there as well, with similiar results that you spoke of. With that said, Congress and Senate will be home on their Aug break soon and I think it may be time to revisit this idea. Especially with this Health Care debate going on.
Lisa, I really think that it is the only way to get them out of their comfort zone, to see it right out front so their kids and neighbors can see. Peacefully picketing will be enough to rattle them. My cell is 978-423-8105, lets talk about this. Sue from 9-12 was only into phones and emails and its clearly not working. Thanks Ron.
That was one of the first ones I put on another site. I recently found another one that sends chills down my spine. I just posted it on here. It is called "We the People" (Silent Majority No More). It was written and performed by a 912er and her voice is great, the words inspiring, and the pictures very, very moving. I think you would like it also.

The US government released its latest report on religious freedom in Spain.
Prepared by the US State Department, the report is an annual survey of how religious tolerance and freedoms fare in different nations across the world.
“The [Spanish] Constitution and other laws and policies protect religious freedom. However, some local government policies restrict the religious freedom of minority religious groups, including Muslims,” states the document released in Washington on Monday.
It cites instances in some cities where Muslim groups charge that special [...]
