Between the people who pay no taxes but get an "earned income" refund, those on public assistance, members of Congress, many of whom have never held a private sector job, and the millions now on unemployment benefits- I'd bet that way more than 50% of Americans can be considered to "vote for a living".

    I feel sorry for those who have lost their jobs, but that makes them dependent on government benefits- unemployment- and woud you bite the hand that feeds you? The more jobs lost, the more powerful the government becomes. Is it any wonder that the "stimulus" accomplished just about nothing? It wasn't intended to create jobs-no matter what the government says.
