TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Federal officials say that absentee ballots being sent to U.S. military serving in Afghanistan may have been burned in a plane crash.
A top official in the Federal Voting Assistance Program this week notified election officials across the nation that a transport plane crashed at Shindad Air Base on Oct. 19.
The crash resulted in the destruction of 4,700 pounds of mail inbound to troops serving in the area.
Federal officials in their email to state election offices said they did not know if any ballots were destroyed. They also said the lost mail was limited to one zip code.
But they recommended that election officials resend a new ballot to anyone who requested one since the first ballot may have been destroyed in the crash and fire.

Oh they know what was in that plane I promise you they do. NOTHING gets put on those planes without them knowing exactly what it was. This is so they can say look the states are sending TWO ballots so now who is cheating. You watch and see if that don't happen.
Why did it take a full week to alert the election officials?

We need to start looking at this in a different way and arm up and train. Because I believe at this point that we the people are going to have to take this crowd out. Like Tim said the other nite we need to be talking to our neiborhoods and have a plan of action. We do this thru each county. Easier said than done but it is time to act. It will roll like the Tea Party with millions following if it comes down to a fight. Talk it up wherever you go and get the veterans off the barstools and involved before they lose those bar stools.
Lies and more lies! Obumer knows that the military is not behind him so lets make sure they are not allowed to vote. If in fact the ballots were burned all up on the 19th, has a new batch gone out? Not a big deal since everything is computerized.
