Terry's hearing today in Cross City went reasonably well. The hearing started at 11 am and was scheduled to run for 15 minutes but lasted about 1 hour. Particulary positive was we had a crowd of about 50 of some of Florida's strongest Patriots in the gallery !!
Terry did a great job considering the pressure and circumstances. We now need to plot the course to the Feb9 start of trial when the jury will be selected.
Thanks to everyone for both your support for Terry and Marie as well as your continued outstanding efforts to reestablish our People's Grand Jury Under Common Law !!
I forgot to mention probably the most important result: Terry was pronounced fit to " represent himself" at his upcoming trial.
Regarding the motions the judge ruled on today:
Motion for a speedy trial: Terry withdrew this motion after learning that the motion could imply his trial could start as soon as Jan 5 instead of the already scheduled Feb 9.
Motion for Bill of Particulars: The judge denied this motion after State Attorney Meggs claimed it wasn't appropriate in this case
Motion for Dismissal: Judge denied this motion but gave Terry a clue that there are legal reasons why the lack of getting a First Appearance can be grounds for dismissal but those reasons had not been brought up in this case. We need to do some homework in to learn more about what the judge was referring to.
Early this morning, Terry received an email from Bill Thorton with a draft of a challenge to jurisdiction which Terry did file into the court record and also he mentioned he was challenging jurisdiction of the court but the judge said he was not going to address any new motions except those that were mentioned in his Amended Notice of Hearing, which referred to the Ferrate competency and the above 3 motions..

Listened to the hearing, very proud of Terry, he presented himself very professionally. He also invoked a strong desire to "settle the matter in private" friendly to all. He had no intention of harming anyone. Very good statement. I noticed the judge pushing very hard for Terry to get a BAR lawyer. I have to wonder why? I liked the way Terry answered most of his requests "Do you Understand" which in legalese to you stand under my jurisdiction. Terry was careful to say I comprehend what you are saying.
