The PVS-7 is the standard issue goggle supplied to the U.S. Military and its allies. With the use of a single Generation 3 (64lp) Auto-Gated image tube and a dual eye configuration, the USNV-PVS-7 Ultra provides outstanding night vision performance. It features simple user controls and fully automated image tube protection. This system allows the user to have complete freedom of movement while maintaining equilibrium and balance in a hands free application. The USNV-PVS-7 also incorporates an infrared illuminator with a momentary and continuous on switching function. Infrared operation and low battery indicators are displayed within the user‘s field of view.
 
The USNV-PVS-7 comes complete with a lightweight, fully adjustable military head strap that allows for comfortable long-term use. A wide range of optional accessories include high magnification lenses, compass, infrared spot/flood lens and helmet mounting bracket.

That night vision pkg ought to round out, with S&H (although you can find free S&H online) to close to $4500. Quite a chunk of change. If you cut back and settle for 2nd generation, you can save about $1000 & still get free S&H.

For those with a more frugal budget there's the Pulsar Edge GS Night Vision Goggles 1x20. Not as fancy, but you'd be proud to have them if worse came to worse! They are both light weight and come with a handy head mount. 50 hrs of operation time. Pulsar Edge GS Night Vision Goggles 1x20

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
