U.S. Patriots Union and Stand Up America State Nullification Act

NATIONAL PRESS RELEASE January 12, 2011 - The United States Patriots Union(1), in strategic partnership with Stand Up America(2) and our joint 2011 Call to Action, have launched a nationwide initiative to introduce and pass broad-based state nullification legislation in all fifty states. We present this model legislation, The State Nullification Reaffirmation Act(3), as a proposed state bill for the following reasons.

 

The sovereign states lost congressional representation of states interests in 1913 with the passage of the 17th Amendment, which removed the constitutional right of each state legislature to choose two representatives of state interests, to be seated in the US Senate.

 

Since then, all branches of the federal government have increasingly acted against the best interests of the states and the people, reaching farther and farther beyond the scope and authority granted them in the U.S. Constitution and today, the federal government functions with utter disdain for both states’ and individual rights.

 

With no legitimate venue available in which to demand redress of grievances in the legislative, executive or judicial branches of the federal government at present, we have determined that the people of each state, via their elected state officials, must take broad but specific state measures to force the federal government to live within the confines of the U.S. Constitution and the enumerated powers, for the sake of the sovereign states and the citizens thereof.

 

On this basis, The United States Patriots Union acting in strategic partnership with Stand Up America, commissioned the Patriots Union Constitutional Justice Division to draft a model bill granting the states the power and mechanisms to nullify any federal statute, mandate or executive order which the state determines to be unconstitutional. It is our joint intention to see this bill passed and enforced in every state as soon as possible.

 

The United States Patriots Union, LLC and Stand Up America present this model bill for consideration of legislators in each of the fifty sovereign states. Additional information is available at both sponsoring organizations.

                                       With all due respect,,, you need to read the bill proposal.  What does it have to do with Washington or their approval of any thing their?  This is for state legislature not the Federal Government. 1st, 9th and 10th amendment issues.  We broke it down so as even a second grader could understand. This revolves around the treaties and compacts that enforce the laws through process that are already in place for each state as they entered the union. Do you give up rights you already have to look for new ones or re-write the constitution and your protections the way you would like to have them ?

You sound as though you think you have the means to apply a strategy at the federal level to accomplish your goals.  Please share your plans and strategies that you have or any attempt at the one's you have used that have been successful.  We are open to any success story and results as the rest of us would jump directly on board to join in.

 

The problem is there has been none, especially at the federal level. Over 85% of incumbents are back in there office after the mid terms in the National elections.  The major gains are at the state level. With the 85% back in DC please explain your plan and how to implement it at that level so we all understand how you and folks you work with will stop anything.  The "LAME DUCK"  session really shows that the representation in DC got the mid term message. a hand full of freshmen will do nothing, they are one (1) percent of the governing body.

 

No, Sir.  With all due respect it starts at the state level, you will have no impact in DC because they do not give a rat's rear end what you think and can continue to do so until the states put a halt to there power grab. Read the bill,,look up the information and get educated, understand who has the power and who the power was meant to be in the hands off or are you to afraid to fight for yourself and worry about Chris Mathews and the rest for political correctness. As a good friend has said. Work hard in one state and you save the state.  Work hard in 30-40 states and you just might help save your Nation. Nice talking with you,,  good luck

                                    Semper FI,,,,  I have a problem with you Navy Guy's.  You always offered us a ride but droped us off at places none of us really wanted to be. What's up with that?  Rick we thought long and hard also over the same issue.

 

I will explain why we became the Patriots Union and what we saw coming, and folks were not paying attention too. The US only has 22 right to work states left in the country with bill proposals in place that want to take control over those 22 that are left. Looking at the EU and the main cause of the downfall and economic turmoil we have seen the problems here and the same results at a grander scale for some time. The economic termoil bases itself and mandates pushed and inforced as you no through arbitration and threats from the unions. Yet the unions only represent less than 9% of the work force in this country. So if in fact we round it off to 10%, that leaves 90 percent of the population of over 300 million non union.

 

Unions are now controlling every type of economic enterprises to include the biggest witch is the communications industry and the biggest hole they fill at about 24.5% of the US GDP at the federal level in wage and retirement payments, and oh by the way is supported 100% with the tax dollar you and so many work hard for. The unions are writing legislation through representation in DC.  Why would 90% of the country allow this to happen? Probably because you do not have the lobbing power or the representation as a U.S. citizen,,,, you got no skin in the game.

 

Now you do and that is why we have named it the Patriots Union and will demand the same recognition any other named union demands. It represents YOU !  Your the people we have been waiting for.  We plan through the goals that are at the sight to work and represent and demand the same out of legislation and representation that the 10% now receive and control. Like Obama Care.

 

Go to the landing page of Patriots Union and look at the up dates of the seven initiatives.  We have met one today with the states bill out line. Go to the patriot Pantry, our goal here is spelled out the unions representing the 10% have the opt out option from HHS and there cohorts to opt out as they can give an optional affordable health care plan that is in part being subsidized through the government with your tax dollar as your mandated for lesser care higher payments and poorer representation in the health industry.

 

As members join and we become a larger buying block we as a union representing the 90% who have the option to join for $29.00 with no dues every week become a force that can give the same plans to more that only a little over 200 unions receive now in opt out option from government.  What kind of influence do you think the majority would have at that level to bargain  and arbitrate ?  These are just some of the things The Patriots Union is doing. It a union for the majority, It's a union of the people.

I'm in agreement with all of you.  I was a slacker, citing the addage that I was too tired, too much work, etc. to follow the days political events.  NOW!  I make it a priority to listen and research on my own any information I hear or read from all sources.  We do need to make ourselves heard.  But it has to be based on facts.  I, my family, and co workers share information each and every day so that we may make the best choices for OUR country.   And we will be voting accordingly.  I have been in public service for over thirty years, twenty-two years with a major police department in south Florida and ten years with the Fire Rescue Department in Central Florida.  In both disciplins I have had to deal with individuals on city or county commissions in regards to spending and projected goals.  Only to find myself dealing with self serving individuals that held the power to circumvent the system and ply their own agendas.  Usually at the unnecessary expense of the taxpayer.  I could go on but I only get frustrated.  I firmly believe and am thankful for this vehicle  as an extension of our beliefs and our voice.

If there is any hope of saving our Founding Fathers dream, sharper teeth must come from States.......will it ever get perfect.....no.....but we know now the federal government is out of control......let's nullify them as "we the people" see fit.

In that case, it's up to you to elect some who AREN'T idiots; not complain about them.  The Founding Fathers arranged things so the state would have power greater than the Federal government, and the PEOPLE would have the greatest share of the power that  was to be had.
