WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL

The 21st of May has come and gone and in spite of all the dire predictions Russian paratroopers have not descended on Denver by the tens of thousands and Chinese armored vehicles have not crossed our Northern and Southern borders in unnumbered hordes.  My reason for pointing this out is because we, here, are basically an intelligence gathering organization and  we need to do a much better job of vetting our sources.  For example, we have seen video evidence of some of the FEMA camps, most if not all of us have seen the Army field manual which establishes procedures for running internment camps in conjunction with civilian federal agencies (something unprecedented in US history), and we are all aware of the provisions in the NDAA for the internment of US citizens without access to the judicial system.  However, we need to be careful and not accept everything we read or hear at face value or the gospel truth.  Unfortunately we must keep in mind that there are unscrupulous individuals who will use our concern for our country and our patriotism to line their own pockets.  These individuals will take a small grain of truth and inflate it all out of proportion to what the real facts are.  If we are not careful we will soon be looked upon as the boy who cried wolf too many times.  In these times of great danger to our Constitution and the Declaration of Independence it is easy to let our concerns carry us away.  My comments are not meant to be an effort to single out any individuals or sources of information.  I would be the first to admit that I am guilty of allowing my concerns for the country to force caution and vetting of information to take a back seat.  I also do not want us to acquire a reputation for being a group of irrational zealots who see a conspiracy behind every word emanating from Washington.  (Although that may not be far from the truth.)  We all know that we are serious, well meaning, patriots with only the welfare of our country in mind.

Agreed Marvin...we do need to vet info carefully.  I myself have forwarded things, and later found them to contain nearly a shred of truth.  We need to ensure we are not like the left and passing on right wing propaqanda.

Is it Ok if we use 'right-wing propaganda' to help us fight the left in our quest to retain a Constitutionally traditional America? (I think it's Ok, but I'd like to hear from you on this. Keep in mind that we are in a War, and in a War we must use whatever is handy and useful)

No it is not OK to use propaganda.  Propaganda has a very negative connotation to the rest of the world and in most cases it is lies with a grain of truth.  We don't need to lie that's a tactic the other side uses.  If you use propaganda that makes us no better than our enemy and we don't need to stoop to that level.

Yep Marv:  I forwarded that info, which if I'm correct ORIGINATED with GLEN BECK ? ! ? ! ?  Anyway, I later called several night spots located near fort Carson, where purportedly some Russian troops were training in advance of that operation. No one I talked to even came up with a whisper of such a thing.  Later I heard a conversation take place wherein the parties said that this had already taken place covertly on a much smaller scale than the 21 May Op was supposed to be.  If this was B.S. why did it appear here.

And moreover that's "egg on my face" for broadcasting this by e-mail.  So, I'll definitely make an effort to squelch such transmissions in the future.  BUT, this points up a parallel matter, which could not be dismissed lightly but bears watching.  This MAY NOT be about RUSSIANS(?), but if Our Troops would be reluctant to participate, then whose troops?

Don't blame yourself for anything.  We have all fallen into that trap at one time or another.  However, with the level of loyalty, patriotism, dedication and enthusiasm we have seen displayed here as well as having pretty much the entire country covered I don't see any reason for us to not become much better, if not professional at what we are doing.  Every professional was an amateur at some time.

Dear Mr. Marvin Green,

I stand and salute you sir for your clear-thinking, excellent use of logic, and of the extra dose of 'common sense" that God gave you at birth. 

The problem you point out in your short piece is part of the 'why' of it's so hard to herd a nation of Cats that are no longer happy with their government. Forming one SOLID and trustworthy group is a very tricky business because there are so many that want to undermine any good that a Activist/Patriot group might hope to use to defend traditional America and her Constitution. The very moment a person comes on to sites like this and start talking wild conspiracy stories, we as a group start to lose any trust we have had with other members and newbies to the site. If I had my own site that gathers patriots to take an activist role in our nations politics, I would spell out in the "Objectives" part of our goals that we won't tolerate Conspiracy matches being lit and thrown on the serious planning pile, for serious and actionable problems. Then the moment any person broke the rule... Bye-Bye and Adios.

I'm not saying that there is NOTHING to some of the conspiracy claims, I simply recognize that we have too many reality based problems to deal with and don't need to get distracted by 'could-be and maybe'.
