What Should Be Done?

A FEW MONTHS ago, in an extended conversation about Islam with a friend of a friend, after quite a bit of writing back and forth, he asked, "What do you think should be done?" The following is what I wrote back. The reason I'm writing this is because I think many of the people we talk to haven't given it much thought and don't really know what kind of solution you have in mind when you're talking about Islam, and I think sometimes they react in a way that rejects the solutions they assume you must have in mind. So it's worthwhile to let people know what you think ought to be done about it. They might have an easier time listening to what you have to say about Islam.

One of the things my friend of a friend mentioned was how comforting it is to know that most Muslims don't like terrorism. With all that in mind, here is how I answered him:

That's a good question. What is the solution? I think basic knowledge would be a good first start. Most people know almost nothing about Islam, even in the CIA and FBI. Even among politicians. I don't know all the solutions we'll come up with, but I know we'll make better solutions if we know what we're really dealing with.

If more of us knew more about Islam, I think we'd be less likely to make mistakes like foolishly allowing Sharia law to be written into the constitutions of both Iraq and Afghanistan. That was a big mistake. I don't believe it would have happened if more non-Muslims had read the Koran.

When someone in Afghanistan was going to be killed for converting out of Islam (apostasy is illegal, punishable by death under Sharia law), the U.S. State Department said, "Hey, what are you doing? Your constitution says you have freedom of religion." To which Afghans said, "Yes, freedom of religion within the bounds of Sharia law." The people in the State Department didn't know what they were dealing with.

So I think we need to at least know. That would be a start.

I think Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Norway are on the right track: They have explicitly banned Sharia law.

And I think another good thing to add would be the flex fuel bill that is now in committee. It probably won't get voted in this round, but a new bill will eventually be proposed and it should be done. It has the potential to seriously cut off funds to Saudi Arabia, which is a major source of our problems with Islam. They fund many madrassas and mosques around the world, and because they pay for them, they control what is taught there, and they are teaching orthodox Islam: Hatred of non-Muslims, political action, Sharia law for all, etc.

According to this article in the Wall Street Journal, Saudi Arabia controls an unbelievable 90% of the world's Islamic institutions. We need to cut off their money, and introducing mandatory flex fuel capabilities in cars sold in America would allow fuels to compete, which would bring down prices and take money away from Saudi Arabia.

We need more people who know more about Islam so that we can have more and better solutions to its growing influence.

I don't really want anything from Muslims. I want non-Muslims to stop pretending the problem doesn't exist. I want non-Muslims to discover that Islam is not a religion of peace and stop trying to pretend it is.

The biggest Muslim organizations in America — ISNA, CAIR, MSA, etc. — have all been created as arms of the Muslim Brotherhood, the largest international Muslim organization in the world. And they have said in internal documents that violent acts of terror are tactically foolish against America. 9/11 set their agenda back because it caused Americans to learn more about Islam. So they have revamped their strategy to keep a low profile, to infiltrate, to undermine and to sabotage. Terrorism against America doesn't work. We're not the kind of people who cower in fear and comply. Overt acts of violence against us make us aggressive.

Anyway, the fact that Muslims hate terrorism isn't as comforting as it ought to be.

And I agree with you, we should not overreact. And we should completely reject collective punishment, abandonment of reason, and we must keep the rule of law. I am advocating first and most importantly that people read the Koran. I think non-Muslims should know what's in it, mainly because so many non-Muslims assume they know what's in it and are dangerously mistaken. And I think you really have to read the whole thing to get the full impact of this amazing doctrine.

I don't think advocating knowledge is an overreaction.

I think in hundreds of little ways, once non-Muslims know what Islam is about, all the political insinuations of Islamic law into Western democracies will be curtailed, without bloodshed and without hatred. It will just be stopped because we can see what is motivating it, we understand what's behind it, and we don't want any part of it, now that we know what it is.

The Muslims-in-name-only can go on about their lives without any trouble — and without even knowing anything is going on. The active, orthodox Muslims will find themselves curbed whenever they try to limit freedom of speech or infiltrate the FBI or any of the other things they've been able to get away with because so few people know even the most basic information about Islam.

One place we differ is that you think things are already getting better, and I think things are getting worse. Muslim infiltrators with a political objective (Islam's prime directive) have gotten into the military, the FBI, the CIA, and actually advise President Obama just as they did with former President Bush. Why? Because even people at that high level believe the nonsense that Islam is a religion of peace. Muslims are gaining control of cities in Europe, the "radicals" are regaining control in Turkey and Egypt, they are gaining control of Lebanon, Malaysia, and Indonesia. They are exerting influence over American media, Hollywood movies, what's written in American textbooks, and it goes on and on and on. Not much is getting better. And lots of things are getting worse. And I'm an optimist!

I think your attitude that "things are getting better" is just another way to try to put this issue in a box so you don't have to worry about it any more. Throughout this conversation you seem to have tried your best to come up with anything you could think of to avoid having to accept the existence of something you don't want to be true. It reminds me of that scene from the first Terminator movie.

Kyle Reese has been sent back from the future to protect Sarah Connor, but she thinks she will just get away from the terminator and go on about her life. She was refusing to get it. Didn't want to get it. Does this sound familiar?

Kyle finally grabs her wrists and yells at her: "Listen! That terminator is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear, and it absolutely WILL NOT STOP — EVER — until you are DEAD!"

At that point, she doubled over. All the breath went out of her body. It looked like she'd been punched in the stomach. She finally realized her situation. She stopped resisting it and started thinking about what could be done about it.

It seems to me you're not there yet. You still think you can go on with your life and ignore it. Everything will be okay.

But it will not stop. It will keep getting worse until it intrudes on your life in a way you can't ignore. You're a smart man. I believe some day you will get it, and it will hit you hard. But after that point, you'll stop resisting it and start thinking about what should be done about it.

This is very interesting, but unfortunately what I continue to witness are people who want to be nice about everything when dealing with islam, and this is not just the leftist but the practicing political correct Patriots, who seem to be somewhat unaware of this action, and refuse to do anything other than continue to baby and hand out more rights to islam, yet screaming and complaining the very next minute!!! Basically it is and always has been about simplicity, except no one wants to deal with it in such a manner!!! It seems that ideas or an idea broken down in the most simple form is always rejected!!! People are gonna at some point accept the basic fact that islam and all affiliates are enemies to not just the United States of America, but all of the Free world and as the above given example with the Terminator, it as well as islam will not stop until they have total and brutal control!!! what sickens me is that with the simplicity here, nothing is getting done to preserve Our country!!!! It seems as though islam`s rights are taking precedence over American`s rights, with Blessings!!! In other words take out country, as long as You islamics have rights, that`s all that matters!!! I believe that anyone who advocates working with the so called peaceful muslims, not only hates their country, but is showing total disrespect for their Families and Friends!!!! That is why we are not making progress, and that is because there are too many muslim sympathizers, not just on the liberal left, but the ignorant right, who call themselves Patriot`s!!! Our forefather`s would have long ago been at war, and everyone is watching this country sink and still expressing how they want and accept, and wish to work with the peaceful muslims!!! Wake up, there is no such thing, and they all stick together, unlike Americans!!! Remember that!!! These people have always lived the way they are living and they do not belong in Our Country!!! they simply do not believe in Freedom!!! So, Ya say what do We do!!! Well I`ll tell Ya My thing and of course there will be a major disagreement somewhere, but that`s alright, at least I know my enemies, and America had better start gaining that knowledge, cause it doesn`t look as though it`s nationwide yet!!! Ya want to do it politically??? Alright, We must first join together which I have always emphasized, and yet I am still seeing on some of these groups the same old song and dance, which is truly detrimental to anything positive we need to accomplish!!! Let`s gather and force a law that no matter what the circumstances anyone who believes and advocates sharia law, and anyone affiliated with sharia law, can never enter into this country, simple!!! May take us some time, but if we work together with the same objective in mind, this can and will be accomplished!!! Next and or simultaneously, we need to get all believers in sharia law already here and force them back to their own countries!!! I don`t have every detain yet, no, however, that should be our focus when it comes to islam!!! the sooner everyone gets through their heads that these people have always lived the way they have live, and do not want to change, but instead wants to change, and/or destroy the ones You Love and All of Our Freedom!!! Well to me that should be a bug that propels us to the next level!!!! One last note, to sit on these computers and argue is wasting valuable time!!!

Well thought-out, Twana.  I'd add that we think of the many peaceful (not radical) Muslims but here are the startling numbers.  There are approximately 700,000,000 Muslims in the world.  If only 10% (and some scholars think it's much greater than that) are radicals, that is 70,000,000 (million) radical Muslims in the world who want to destroy us and anyone who believes differently.  Included in that number are untold thousands in this country undercover, waiting for the opportunity or the command from higher up.  Keep your heads in the sand and they will cut off your **** because they can't get to your head!

wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! talk about waxing eloquent. Tell it like it is.  Where do we draw the line.  How long will we put up with this USURPER IN THE WHITE HOUSE and how long will we put up with all this islam crud.  We need an Egypt in America.  We need a few million pro constitution American citizens to surround the White House and the Congress and protest what they are doing to our country.

After 9-11-01 a survey of Muslim American citizens was taken. A full 30% of male Muslims from 18 through 40 approved of the attacks and many said they would take part in similar attacks. These are the people we have allowed into our Country. You can never live in peace with someone who wants you dead. Plain and simple Islam preaches death to all non believers. I stand for the American Conservative Cultural Revolution, the Renaissance of Freedom. 1776 was just the beginning, and since then, the rest of the world has been convulsing and protesting that.  Whatever form it takes, whether it is Radical Islam, Socialism/Communism, or the decadence that comes with the licentiousness under the guise of "Liberalism," it is all a protest against the Freedom brought about by a particular form of Christianity that was launched at the birth of this great nation.  That act was meant to be a beginning, a Genesis, and it has always been up to the descendants of that great Act to continue it and to expand it and bring it to full fruition:  and that means YOU.

 

What should be done?  All of the basics are in the Constitution, the Federalist Papers, the Declaration of Independence.  Never in the the history of mankind has there been anything but the tyranny of psychotic despots, until that was born, right here in this country.  There might have been "benevolent" dictatorships, but none has equaled the greatness that has been made possible by the efforts of our unique Founders.

 

THAT is what should be done.  What of Radical Islam?  What of Marxist Socialism and Communism?  What did the Founders do?  They forged ahead, in spite of the great odds against them.  Our nation, and our Republic has not even been done right, and yet it persists and continues.  What if we WOULD get it right?  

No good has ever come just out of the blue.  It takes courage, dedication, determination, and the correct application of both Force and Reason.  Things do not run right because of someone's wish or desire to make them run right.  Things run right because someone makes it so.  That thing is a nation as laid out by our Founding Fathers.  What trust they put in their descendents: YOU.... to fulfill and continue that which they Created.

What an opportunity this is.  You are so privileged, so blessed.  You have the documents, the Founding Principles, the Religion, AND the technological advances to make possible the most unique existence for mankind ever created.   You have at your disposal the tools and the resources to advance the cultures of earth and bring to mankind, not a tyrannical barbarism addicted to slavery, but a civilization of which we can be proud.

The ball is in your court.  You know what things should be like.  You have the ideal sitting before you in the form of our Founding Documents.  You can SEE how our present culture has deviated from that Ideal.  Assess what the current obstacles are to advancing that Ideal, figure out what is the best method to handle those deviations and advance accordingly.

Yes it sounds easy, but of course, it is not.  There are so many who volunteer to put themselves in harm's way to protect that Ideal, and are entrusting YOU to work to continue what they are fighting to preserve.  They have laid it all out on the line for everyone else.  Some pay the ultimate price for that.  

So why is everyone else's skin so damn precious?

The next time you don't think you can do anything about the current situation, think about the soldier or sailor on the other side of this planet, taking a bullet or a bomb so that you can sit at home and watch American Idol.  Think of the ones who will not make it home in one piece.

And then turn right around and start pitching in.  Can you staple?  Can you type?  Can you run a copy machine?  Can you find it in yourself to tell someone to get off their couch and join you?  Can you go to a meeting, sit in a chair or a bench, and make a show of solidarity with others?  Can you raise funds?  Can you rekindle and revive that passion in yourself and others and make that Ideal happen or help advance it?

What would it be like if you were successful?  What would happen in the world if we won?  What if we made it possbile for a new generation of Americans to accept the torch of Freedom, and advance the legacy that we have left them.

Look around.  There is no one else but you that can make that happen. 

God has given you the opportunity, the resources, the purpose, the time, and the place.

Now it is up to YOU.

i have fought against muslims in a real shooting war. face it folks they will not be happy until they control the world. they will lie,cheat,steal and do or say anything to achieve their results. i am all for a second crusade. the very least we should do is understand their desire to rule the world and not grant them any rights that arent given any other citizen.

Our choices are pretty simple.

We either capitulate, convert and live under Sharia Law or resist.

If we choose to resist and maintain our Country and our American, Christian way of life we had better be committed 100% because that is what it will take.  These people are committed.

It will not be preety.  It will be a black mark on American history...either way.

Which culture do you want your children/grandchildren to grow up in?

All one has to do is to sit and read their Koran and you will understand it is a cult of hate, murder, rape, and vileness on a scale that is incredible. It announces straight out, that a believer could never be a friend to an infidel. It clearly states, that it's fine to lie, cheat,steal from or kill any infidel because they are not human beings. There are over 3500 passages saying kill all Jews and infidels.

 

Let's face it people, Islam is the Devils Religion. Now they have few redeeming ideas, such as chopping the hands off of thieves. Now does that include greedy politicians and union thugs? Let's face it a thief is a thief, regardless if he or she wears a 3 piece suit or not.

Getting back on track. Islam means "submission", submission to the will of their "God" Allah. Submission to people who refuse to change their mind set. Submission to the ideas that women are property , property which can be raped , mutilated, even murdered at the whim of the male. This alone should have every nag and women's rights group out burning every Mosque in the world to the ground. Now where are they on this?

 

There is absolutely no compromise with Islam, it is evil, it needs to be eradicated from the face of the earth!
