Constitutional Emergency

Please provide your thoughts......this is the place to share your personal observations on realistic efforts we can reasonably expect to pursue that will restore constitutional government, republic principles, and how we can do it?

I believe we have one more election, if that, to make a difference in installing representatives that are ready to give their lives for the US Constitution and serve in the US Congress.

Amen Texas can and most likely would cede from the Union. As long as Senator Hucthison is not Govenor. She is running against Perry for Govenor. But all of youy are some what right ther are alot of organizations that dont know us or have heard of us. That is why we need to all unite under one banner and cause. Divide we fall United we are one. It a shame we have come this far in history to have it torn apart. Yet new nations are formed and have survived and if civil war comes the let the chips fall where they may and each side divide nation up as i have stated so many times. Leftist socialist on one side the conservative constitutionist the other side of the country period. But if Texas does split get ready to move fast and furious because time will be against us.
We need to get out the word that 1, We don't need new laws (just enforce the old ones) 2, Term limits no more career Politicians 3, Government should be only in the defense business not the Social work business 4, Honor the Constitution 5, Flat tax or fixed tax rate no more then 10% ( We'll stimulate the Economy) 5, Supreme Court does not make laws just interprets it. 6, It is not separation of church and state Stupid it is that the Government shall have no state sanctioned religion. 7,If you are not a legal Immigrant you should be put in jail until work up enough money for the ticket back to your country 8, If you take a life you are put to death no life sentences 9, If you vote against the best interest of "We The People" you are impeached and sent packing 10, If when we are at War and you act in a treasonous way by giving aid and comfort to the enemy you will be hung by the neck until dead!
From my understanding of the original question, it would be proper to either affirm this effort, or make a suggestion as to what changes may be in order to improve it. For one, I believe the numbers which faithfully participate in this community are those who have above average discernment and insight, therefore stay in touch with the group as a duty and privilege to contribute in a real sense to the overall community of patriots and veterans who realize the intrinsic value of becoming part of the solution, willing to step up to the plate and make a difference, and not sitting on the sidelines as dead weight. This group is not about popular opinion, consensus or celebrity status in the first place, but sharing ideas, intelligence and leadership for the common good and purpose of securing our nation's viability, sovereignty and our freedoms under the provisions of the original Constitution and envisioned by the Founding Fathers. This sums up my personal motivation.

You are right Margaret, it sounds exactly like it was written for today. It sounds like current events, and there is a part that puts upon American citizens a right, a duty to act upon. The second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence makes it our right, our duty to abolish destructive forms of government, to throw off such government and institute new government. If anyone has not read the Declaration of Independence, or hasn't in a while, read it. Really read it. It is an inspiring document. I would suggest everyone read it again. The men who wrote it pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, for they knew their families futures depended on it. And many sacrificed those things. Should we be willing to do any less?

Hi Tom, I would like to respectfully disagree with this point of view. I know there are Americans who painstakingly went through citizenship to enjoy our freedoms and many Americans shed their blood to give us the freedoms that so many take for granted. These terrorists have no allegiance to America so I must draw the line there.These trials being held in N.Y. are putting America on trial as much as the terrorists and will turn out to be Kangaroo trials which will make a mockery of our justice system and prevent the military from really defending America. This stinks as much as the rules of engagement.

There are so many sites, so many groups in the sites, so many news feeds and articles, so many action alerts etc. that it is totally impossible to keep up with them and still have some semblance of a life. I am on the computer for hours and hours every week (day) and still cannot keep up. I think that consolidation with some of the conservative ning sites would be a good thing, since they all seem to have one common goal. I have a ning site that I set up for our local 9-12 group, but it is pretty locally oriented and serves that purpose. However, all of these sites that have folks from all over the country on them are redundant. Not that any of them are at all bad, but I spend most of my time on info overload. We the people need clear direction, leadership to take us in the goals provided by the direction and mobilization. I know it can be done...look what Michele Bachman did in a few short days mobilizing people. But there doesn't seem to be enough top down coordination to make the millions of us a cohesive group.

I have been reading these comments and I agree with Amy...there are too many groups and sites doing the same thing, so none of them have a overwhelming number of members. However, if you put their memberships all together,I'm sure the number would be impressive. I am a "member" of at least 5 or 6 different conservative groups, and it's hard to keep up with all the info passed on by all of them. Much of the info is repeated. I do appreciate the up-to-date news on the real current events taking place so I can notify my representatives in Congress of my opinions....if it even makes a difference to them. I try to get to near-by rallies (I'm a Sr. citizen) and protest when I can. I believe the only way America can survive is if all the groups merge, espouse a clear common cause, and find genuine conservative leaders who can inspire us to once again have confidence in our America. I realize that's a tall order....and may not be possible. I hate to think of the only other alternative....civil war. I admire those states who have declared their sovereignty, and will definitely be moving if the country splits. I believe Obama is dangerous and leading America down the path of distruction as fast as possible.
The Constitution is our saving document. That and the Holy Gible! With 'o'no being in office illegally it is telling the world that the entire constitution is null and void. They are just doing what they want, as long as he remains ILLEGALLY in offce! 'o' must go, now! If not sooner...---...
I read posts here and there are some very good ones but we are a very active tea party group that has our own ning site. I am one of the founders. Many of us are also part of Independence Caucus. We are focusing on our next steps. The time of the tea parties is almost at an end. We will still have our group and a tea party no doubt in April but we all need to start focusing on the elections coming up in one short year. That is where we are using Independence Caucus. They have a vetting process that many of us are utilizing so we can then inform our members of who is the most constitutional of those running and then we will be boots on the ground working for those candidates. We are going to take over these positions currently filled with Democrats and RINOs and replace them with conservative constitutionalists. We have to or we will lose our wonderful America! I am working almost every waking hour in this endeavor.
2010 will be to late! ...---...
