  • So, Tif where did these get taken? Hopefully not over the United States soil?

  • I'll try to find out, I have some friends that will know.

    • Friend does not know what this is; Damn, He's an Air Force pilot from Vietam, Thought sure he would know.

      • From another friend,,, in the UK,.
This man is Brit special forces.
He says Jet is an F-16, Helicopter is Israeli,,,,
Helicopter an AH-64D Saraf, also Israeli Air Force, not French

      • Well Rooster, this friend was from the Vietnam era; I was a U.S. Navy Boiler Technician/Boilermaker and I have never been a pilot. I went straight from High School to my ship in 1974. To me it looked similar to an f-16 but I could not be sure.

        • Spec Ops friend in UK says not French, Israeli,,,,,,,

US sold them to both Israel and France, plus a few others.

  • Tif, I got this reply from my friend over in UK, He's speaking to you here.

Realise the lady on your site is quite convinced and agree the Saraf (Saraph) is quite a large old bird. If it helps her, note the V insignia on tail boom below and aft of engines, is on all Israeli AF helicopters as an identification symbol.
