TO; My Congressman and Senators, "

 

Please consider all the men and women who give their lives each day to keep our citizens safe. Don't you think they deserve the same consideration as our elected officials?"

No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the U.S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only get 50% of their pay on retirement. While Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full-pay retirement after serving one term. It just does not make any sense.

 

If each person who receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ."

I will just tell you my concerns about the coming election.

I think every body should have to show ID with picture on it.Handwriting matched.

And above all keep the Democrats out of the cemeteries taking names off the head stones. Make sure all write in are checked, we don't need any more of deceased dogs name on ballots like the man receives about the one on his dog that had died.

That is disgusting.

And the Democrats get upsets when we call them Idiots.And the leader of the pack is Pelosi and Reid.

Yes they do. Another point I would like to make.  All these brave souls defend our values by putting their lives on the line for us and accept having real bullets and bombs fired them every day and too many of our Conservative Politicians can't even stand tall for our beliefs in the face of ......... no not bullets or bombs but WORDS.  Yes they can't take criticism from the "Dems, from the Press etc.  They want to get along, reach across the aisle and compromise with an enemy (Democrats), who never compromise.  They talk but its always the Republicans who give in.  Then these guys and gals who cower in their battle with the Libs expect all these high salaries, pensions, health care, perps and be held in esteem for being cowards.

Richard, it has been shown that an unscrupulous individual CAN load in a program to create a FRAUDULENT vote count on the voting machines and it would be almost impossible to detect unless you physically eye-balled the person doing it, and it takes less then 5 minutes to do.

Thank you Mr. King for your helpful suggestions.  I have enough money to  make do

and my four children are always behind me to give me support.  I mainly wrote what I did

to let people know that many of the widows are not treated well by our pols. 

So many of us who lost our spouses in the last years since mr. obama has been

in office, were hit like everyone else, with low interest rates, on money our husband's

left us to use to give us extra.  Well, if one has the experience of getting

by on little they can easily go back to that, so my time as a young 2nd Lt.s

wife taught me how to live frugally and yet be comfortable.   I am certain

so many widows have it very rough in comparison to me.  Thank you and as

Wow!  You covered all the basis sir!  If we could make that into law as is (no additions or Subtractions) it would sure help our country.  If a politician had to write a bill like you wrote above, it would have have been 600 - 1000 pages long, been debated for two months and had 25 amendments.  Why are politicians stuck on stupid, and yet think they are the brightest and most knowledgeable people on earth? A proud Navy Vet!
