Will You Vote for a Romney/Rubio Ticket?

I don't know about you but it is my firm belief that when the GOP puts another non-qualified candidate up even if it is for VP there is going to be a revolt in their voting bloc that they are not counting on.  I know many are saying Anybody But Obama, but I think we are in danger of losing the election even before it gets started because many will not accept another person that does not qualify under the Constitution.  This is my letter to Rubio addressing this issue.  I hope he considers going public with his lack of qualification under Article II, Section I, Clause V of the U.S. Constitution.

Dear Senator Rubio,

 

Something has been bothering me for awhile and when I heard you flub the answer to the VP question I decided to write you.  No, I am not one of your constituents.  I am unfortunately cursed with the representation of Senators Boxer and Feinstein and Representative Waxman.  As with any elected official it is anticipated that they would represent all of us, however I have found very deaf ears.

 

Are you aware of the objective of the MSM as aligned with the DNC and possibly the GOP to use you to destroy this great country, I have heard you say, you love?  Or is it on purpose that you allow them to speculate on your candidacy for VP?  Jeb Bush, today, offered you up as Mitt Romney’s running mate.  Many of us love our country as you do but are without voice to stop the progressives from stealing one of the greatest gifts God gave us beyond his son Jesus Christ.  Also it seems the Tea Party phenomenon has not been as successful as we had hoped.

 

You may ask, how are you being used?  From the point of view of many, there is an ineligible office holder in the White House.  Constitutionally it can be confirmed, it takes two citizen parents when one is born to be a “natural born citizen” the main qualification.  It is my understanding that your parents were not American citizens when you were born.  All the obfuscation and ignoring this will not change the fact that either you or Obama is not qualified for the office of POTUS.  Your name is constantly brought up as the VP candidate for whoever is chosen for the GOP.  You seem, to many, to be extremely articulate and well educated which makes you really likable to the masses.  What I find disturbing is that you do not address the issue of eligibility head on.  The more your name is brought up or thrown into the ring the less anyone pays attention to what the Constitution says, just like 2008.  A simple statement from you of “I’m not qualified under Article II, Section I, Clause V to be President or Vice President” would change the discourse and put an end to the candidacy of Barak Obama as he has yet to present any evidence that isn’t forged of his citizenship.

 

You will be used to destroy this country if you succumb to the pressure or the attraction of the fame & fortune of the office of Vice President by accepting the nomination.  Twenty percent of the conservative voting bloc, in my estimation, will abstain from voting for another unqualified candidate.  Do you think a Romney/Rubio ticket can win without that 20% of the vote?  That 20% Sir will definitely insure the re-election of the current office holder, an unacceptable outcome for the 2012 election. 

 

You Sir will have been used because you and others like you refuse to address the eligibility issue against the best interests of America.  My hope for you and our country is that you stay in the Senate and become a force for change that takes that institution back to the stature it once had, one that truly honors the Constitution as written.  We need people like you to bring the freedoms we have lost in my lifetime back for future generations to enjoy.

au contraire.  Congress' refusal to deal with Obama's ineligibility now makes it impossible for them to deem anyone else ineligibile.  Rubio's parents are both at U.S. citizens, even if they weren't both born here.  Obama's father was NEVER a citizen.  Not sure if his mother was still considered a citizen either.

Precedence has been set.  "Natural Born Citizen" is no longer a requirement, since there is no enforcement.  If they try to stop Rubio, that would be a violation of the equal protection clause.  Not that the Constitution has any validity anymore thanks to a Marxist regime and a spineless minority in the Senate.

So you think the Constitution has been changed?  There is no precedence that can change the Constitution.  The enforcement lies within all of us.  Rubio was born before his parents became naturalized making him ineligible no matter if you think the Consitution no longer applies.  If this part of the Constitution no longer is valid will you let the First ammendment become passe.  Maybe you didn't hear Pelosi say their objective  is to change the first ammendment. Will it apply to you once changed or will you and the rest of us now expressing ourselves freely be in some FEMA Camp?

IF YOU are willing to ignore the tremendous threat to America and sit home based on whether or not Rubio is VP, don't shed tears when you see the end of America, that's what portends for this country.  YOU are willing to ignore the potential collapse of the American economy and necessitate an international bailout from IMF, World Bank and international banks after the dollar is REPLACED by a new trade currency, all but making our paper money more "confederate" than the old confederate money is.  With an international bailout that will deprive Americans of our national borders and national sovereignty, WE THE PEOPLE will be endowed with a NEW Bill of Rights under the U.N. who will no longer have it's biggest obstructionist to the New World Order of global govt. and RULE under the North American Socialist Union will become a reality.  I don't give a DAMN who the GOP nominates, they could nominate a DEAD MAN and I'd vote for him because CONTROLLING CONGRESS and KICKING THE COMMIE OUT OF OUR HOUSE IS MORE IMPORTANT.  Doesn't matter whether Rubio is eligible or not at this point, WE CAN FIGHT THAT FIGHT after the DEVIL IS DONE IN DC IN THE FORM OF BaROKE OWEbumbler.  Vote MORE responsible representatives in Congress, push for clarification rules based on Constitutional LAW!  Give him another TERM and he'll likely replace the one vote MAJORITY Americans have in the Supreme Court and then he can use executive order to PASS ANYTHING HE WANTS.

Shavager, for years I have railed against all of the half measures that are taken to FIX problems and invented problems of the Nanny State.  My question for you, if the basement or foundation of your house was ready to fall, would you remodel the kitchen?  All of the tenpers (that's 10%) or very small causes that involve only a miniscule number of the population of our country have wormed their way into the hearts & minds of those elected to represent us.  Like an upside down pyramid we have become overwhelmed.

Additionally, would you trash the Constitution by voting for another unqualified candidate?  I'm sorry but the U.S. Constitution comes first not a half measure that only perpetuates the problem.  Yes the alternative is not very attractive but you and others will experience the agonizing choices our founders had to make.

I will vote for whomever is running against Obama,if  for no other reason than to protect our Supreme Court seats about to open up.  There are at least 3 Justices that will be retiring soon.  Do you really want to let Obama get reelected and be the one to replace them?  Do you really object to Romney THAT much???  Romney will choose Conservative justices....Obama will choose more Marxists.  And if that happens...GAME OVER.  There will not be any Constitutional Democracy left in which to start a third party or whatever nonsense some of you dream about.

I'd like to say ONCE AGAIN, YOU can't STOP OWEbumbler if YOU DON'T VOTE, SITTING OUT in '08 elections by TOO MANY conservatives gave us the COMMUNIST IN CHIEF!  YOU can't do anything without DIFFERENT LEADERS IN CONGRESS THAT WILL STAND UP FOR THE CONSTITUTION, sitting out just because Rubio is not eligible IS A VOTE FOR OWEbumbler.  Do you realize the amount of DEBT this country OWES is MORE than EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR OWNED BY EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN AND ALL THE ALIENS IN THE COUNTRY??  We will NEVER be able to pay off this DEBT, YEARS of Debt reduction will be needed, smaller, less expensive, less costs in government.  Without a GOP president and Congress, it will drastically INCREASE--whether YOU vote or not will become IRRELEVANT once the country BANKRUPTS.  At that point, we will become a full dictatorship in a system RULED by officials selected by international banks and govts and not the American people.  You're wanting to scratch an itch that is really bothering you because you egregiously dislike the medicine (Rubio selected as VP) while you have a gash in your wrist that's bleeding YOUR LIFE out and you refuse to take action because you didn't like the medicine for the first problem.

If you have followed my posts on this site and others, you know a bit about me, not the least of which is that I am, indeed, conservative in my politics, among other things.  I have taken two oaths in my life in which I pledged to support and defend The Constitution; if Romney selects a VP who is Constitutionally ineligible, I have sworn to my God, my country, my brothers-in-arms, and my fellow citizens that I cannot and will not support his candidacy.  There are issues about Romney's "natural-born" status, but I'm sure those are not significant.  Mr. Rubio, however, is a "slam dunk" not-natural-born citizen, just like the current resident in government housing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The SCOTUS issue isn't as bad as it could be -- it's quite possible that the appointments to the court during the next presidential term will all be replacements of left-leaning justices (Why are judges, much less those who comprise the Supreme Court, political at all?).  That could prove to be a "win-win", as much as is possible -- if liberal justices are appointed to fill the positions there will not be much change; if conservatives are appointed we just might start reëstablishing our republic.

While you are correct in stating that Mormons tend to lean to the right, I can assure you that there are, among their millions of members, folks representing the entire cross section of political -- and ecclesiastical -- thought.  There are no Mormon doctrines which require fealty to any political party or school of thought.  I know this to be so; although one might not guess it from looking at my avatar picture, just like those "touchy-feely" ads say, "I'm a biker...and I'm a Mormon."

I don't think that Mr. Romney will surprise anyone by being more conservative than he was thought to be.  To vote for a man because some of the members of one of the groups with which he associates are good folk is foolish.  To vote for a man who knowingly chooses an unconstitutional running mate is seditious.

If Romney picks Rubio, I can't vote for him without betraying my solemn oath to God, among others.  Barry's status doesn't change that, so there is no debate.

Jack I have seen several TV interviews with Rubio as of late. I disagree with you. I think Rubio plans on being the VP then the President. He is not eligible.
