WASHINGTON – A U.S. senator has weighed in on the continuing controversy over Barack Obama's eligibility for office by saying he has never seen proof the new president was actually born in Hawaii.
"Well, his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven't seen any birth certificate," Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., told constituents in Cullman County. "You have to be born in America to be president."

Senator Shelby has always been held in high esteem by me. His investigation seems appropos.

Don't count on it. My husband and I both talked to Senator Shelby's office at different times.. We were both advised that Senator Shelby did not write the article in WND. Senator Shelb7y's article also appeared in other publivations, but he has since stated that what he said was taken out of context. Senator Shelby's office staff stated that it wasn't up to him to lodge a complaint. We told him "if not him, then who". We advised the staff member that they should report to Senator Shelby that it was our feeling that he should be the one to lodge a complaint, and that we expected hin to do so forthwit.
We also received a reply from Senator Shelby to a letter we had written him regarding this matter. He said that all Senators were given an opportunity to lodge a complaint, but no one did. We explained to the staffer in his office that he should already have made a complaint and called for an investigation.......and that, if he had not done so, then we expected immediate action to do so. Actually he has not lodged a complaint and has not called for an investigation into the matter of Obama being a usurper. I hate to burst your bubble of holding Senator Shelby in high esteemm, but he is exactly like all the rest........a "do nothing" Senator. -

Senator Shelby, is just a Politician, he will tell you what he thinks you want to hear, and when confronted he will tell you it been all a misunderstanding.

I plan to send one myself but I'm thinking of a "letter" signed by everyone in the Group ...
